The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Alfreton Amber Valley East Midlands

Called in yesterday for coffee and cake. I remembered the lady from being there last time. She was busy prepping for a birthday party but squeezed us in. The level of service she provides is off the scale, the best for miles around! She is SO lovely and friendly, and made everyone feel so welcome. I don't come to Alfreton that often, but would always have at least a coffee. She reminded me not to bother with anywhere else, when the Pottery is just the best.

Not great, waiting on staff lovely but lady behind till not very friendly or hospitable. I think I was an inconvenience really. Coffee not brilliant, food average. Would I return no, which is a shame as in the past it has been my go to place to meet up with friends / family.

All the food was stale, worst takeout I’ve had in a while.

This place is tiny, feels really cramped, unless you know people, I wouldn't say there's a place to sit and have time for yourself, I went in a pretty much came out, weatherspoons round the corner which is much bigger and every one knows weatherspoons and can sit by self and not in eye contact with the locals that don't know you. Dunno made me feel uncomfortable sorry blue bell

We have visited this place many times. The staff are absolutely lovely, friendly, welcoming and warm. The food is cooked freshly to order and is always delicious. The cafe is always clean, the staff attentive and they play great 80's music!

Always had a lovely time here. It has never disappointed us. The bonus is no long walk to the toilets lol.

Don’t bother ordering a large as you literally just end up with half of the cob empty. Sausage roll was hard and burnt. Panini was alright because the cheese was stringy and not in a nice ‘cheese pull’ kinda way. Won’t order again.
