Great lunchtime visit today. Excellent value, warm, welcoming atmosphere, good food and good coffee. 2 children (4+6) were happy to play on the equipment whilst their grownups chatted and sad to leave at the end of our slot.

Always meant to try this place but never really had the opportunity before . Visiting with my brother I found the place very warm and welcoming . The woman behind the bar was friendly and chatty as was her replacement . This is a seriously good pub , with a very good choice of real ales . The Neck Oil was especially nice . I will definitely be back sooner rather than later . The locals must be so glad that this place has kept going over the years . Keep up the good work !

In search of a snack on a wet and cold March lunchtime, we happily chose The Little Coffee Cup. An excellent sandwich, made to order by very friendly ladies. Highly recommended.

We needed a snack and a break on a 5 hour journey from Norfolk to Cheshire. Externally it's an unusual building, but the cafe itself is well laid out, and has interesting decor. We were given a lovely welcome, and chose from an interesting menu. I enjoyed the Special which was a large hunk of baguette with fried eggs, sausages and bacon. There was plenty of it and it was tasty, and very reasonably priced. Our coffees were a bit disappointing by comparison, but overall we were pleased to have stopped there.

We were passing through and needed a coffee, found this hidden gem at the rear of courtyard mews shops in main Street. Welcoming, good value, all fresh cooked, no fast food. Recommend milk shakes and bubble , eggs and bacon.

The people are all competent and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. It’s a happy place to be..plenty of, room and busy but no long waiting times and the food is second to none! I recommend Lowford Café to all my friends and family. Simply the best!

Spent four days here, overall very good. The staff, especially Shirelle were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The big letdown was the restaurant, we were half board, out of the seven meals we had we had too send the food back six meal times for being cold mostly. Nita

We dropped in after scouring the railway vintage memorabilia shop for a coffee and cakes. A very warm welcome from the staff and from the wonderful coal fire. We enjoyed the railway theme of the cafe and they have various Wensleydale Railway items for sale, such as beer and engraved glass packs. The home baking was excellent and the coffee hot and flavoursome. A good selection of snacks. It's the sort of place where everyone is relaxed and conversations with other customers start. Great to see and hear the trains going by. Seats on the platform if you want to get closer to the action.

We ate here 3 times during our week in Skipton and we will definitely be returning. Well cooked, good quality food served by helpful, cheerful, friendly, efficient staff. We came out on every visit well fed and smiling.

My friend and I came here this morning, the first time for me. It was a lovely place to come with our babies, and the coffee and brownies were particularly lovely! Staff were friendly. Parking was a bit of a mission as it was busy when I arrived, but I did manage to park at the back of the church. Will definitely visit again!

Quirky set up, great decor and convenient. We took an opportunity to pop in while on a family walk. Realising the time we decided to buy two children's lunches at £5.00 each. This got 1 slice of bread for the Jam sandwich, a pinch of kettle chips and approx table spoon worth of tomato and cucumber, finished off with a fork full of cake.In my opinion, incredibly overpriced when I realised the portion size.I had a latte, which I requested to be froth free. It wasn't.The carpets weren't great on the eye and felt a bit neglected, that said the quirky decor and crockery have potential. It felt like the front of house service lacked a host and was run by hard working 'Saturday' staff.I really wish local businesses all the success in the world and want to see them do well....sorry my review isn't 5 star...* one triangle of sandwich eaten in picture

Well worth the detour to what seems not to be an island but apparently is. There’s a lifeboat station at the end of the road, open on certain weekends for tours. The ferry was going over to Piel Island but we didn’t have time, just admired the views. Unfortunately the café was closed.

Pat's Sandwich Bar provided the food for an afternoon tea party for a gathering of friends and family. The comments about the food were exceptional, especially the sandwiches, so much so that they disappeared before I had a chance to get one! I can thoroughly recommend Pat's to supply the food for a gathering, freshly prepared and attractively presented. All helped by the setting at Hanger Farm in Totton.

I was hungry for fish after visiting the fish market with my mate Rick. They didn't do fish. That speaks volumes.

This is a small cafe with a big heart. Run by volunteers. We had coffee and homemade cake. Well worth a visit.
