We had delicious coffee and cake before our walk and returned for lunch. Varied options including good veggie choice in a lovely setting overlooking the pond - highly recommend visiting

The food is freshly prepared and served in an attractive manner. It is high quality and appetising . The hard working staff are pleasant and efficient, The view over the pond is good and apart from the ducks sometimes the Kingfisher and Heron put in an appearance.

Such a fantastic find. So pleased we asked if anything gluten free, and found out they had gluten free rolls - had the most amazing bacon and brie roll, gluten free crisps and a lovely side salad with a very welcome pot of tea. The young girl serving was so friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The lady in charge was very accommodating to my necessary gluten free questions and happily checked to reassure me of everything being gluten free. She mentioned she'd made some gluten free scones that morning - seemed too rude not to have one too ! Delicious , and the best gluten free scone I've tasted in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed out time here, the food was great, the staff very friendly, the setting lovely and peaceful - and even saw 2 kingfishers while we were sat on the ground level , perfect end to a wonderful visit. No hesitation to recommend and would 100% return when next in the area.

I love coming here for lunch, fresh and tasty food on offer with a good range of drinks, hot or cold. Nice areas to sit inside or out. The art is changed regularly and is available to purchase but best of all is the staff, always excellent, welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them!

Excellent service; quality refreshments served in a welcoming atmosphere by friendly and efficient staff. Wanting to sit outside the tables and chairs were wet following a shower and the staff kindly dried tables and chairs so that I could enjoy the sunshine and the view over the mill pond where ducks and geese and a heron were about their business. A most enjoyable visit.

A lovely little coffee shop. We had a fabulous Brie & cranberry panini with a fresh, crispy side salad & a little jug of dressing.....just yummy. The coffee/tea is always fab too. Their array of cakes look amazing. The service is always wonderful & the staff are super friendly. It's a little bit tucked away but I recommend you find it. 😃

Recommended by the local Dean's Wood campsite with a caveat of it being 'rustic', we enjoyed a very tasty excellent value for money meal and drinks. Our dogs were welcome, and the Land Lady was lovely. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for all weather. With a small play area available for children. Watch out for the local sheep wandering the roads and verges!

Fantastic pub! The food was heavenly! The staff are lovely and there is a real community feel there. It's clearly a popular place as we were there when they had just opened up for the evening and there were loads of locals coming in for a pint. We felt welcome and very comfortable there. The view is gorgeous in the outdoor seating area too.
