A very nice cafe. Menu includes the usual cafe staples - breakfasts, omelettes, jacket potatoes etc as well as a few extras like delicious pressed-there juices and Algerian tea. Service is great, prices are very reasonable, it's clean, food is well-presented and appetising and it's just a nice space, on a slightly quieter than usual street just off the main drag in the centre of Lewisham.

Really lovely guys working there. Friendly and forthcoming but with the delicacy to know when to leave you to your own company. Food was delicious and came quickly. Very reasonably priced, we thought; the cafe nearest us provides a negligable difference in quality but at ~30% greater cost (and less cheery chat!). We both had vegetarian/vegan breakfasts, but were nearly tempted by the lunch menu. Whilst no vegan offering was on the menu, the guys were very happy to swap a few things in/out and my mate was very happy with his meal! Would definitely recommend for a casual breakfast brunch.

This is a proper old-school cafe. Proper freshly cooked food, proper service, and real honest prices. This is as good and real as it gets. Went with a colleague and after an average subway a few days before we tried this instead. What a brilliant place. Its a proper cafe, proper people and proper staff. The food is freshly made whether you want an all-day breakfast or a filled baguette. These are the only places you can get a proper mug of tea and coffee for nearly a third the cost of a coffee shop. Prices are very reasonable. I just love this place.

This is a great example of a shop converted to a bar. I would consider myself a regular at Bob's. Child and dog-friendly, lovely staff, exciting selection of draught and bottled beers and great cocktails. It's not really a restaurant as such but has a link to the Cafe next door, so you can get food there. I recommend booking if you are going with a group as it gets very busy. Nice vibe!

Lovely cute place, nice toasties, good coffee, nice service. My new breakfast place to go. I think they also have a donation drop off corner for Ukraine 🥰

So I found our recently that my favourite Bar Keep had relocated to this establishment so I decided to pay him a visit. Imagine my surprise to find this diamond of a pub. It's a pub, no food, just drink. A blast from the past. I must say it is a fantastic place. Great atmosphere, friendly locals and no pool hustlers like the last place I visited. A must visit

I eat here at least three times a week. The staff remember all of my favourites and can usually predict what I'm going to order. They really look after me. As well as your usual cafe menu, they also have a specials board, where you can get roast pork or shepherd's pie or steak pie (or whatever's on, usually multiple options) with all the trimmings, and for a very reasonable price, especially considering the quality of the food. On Fridays they usually do incredible fish and chips with a light and delicate yet crispy batter. But get there early to avoid disappointment, because the fish and chips often sells out by the end of lunch. In fact, I'm off there now...
