Dawsteps provided an amazing lunch for a corporate event with very little notice. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service, with fantastic communication and even arranged delivery at short notice. The quality and variety of sandwich fillings, cakes and crisps were seriously impressive. A very happy cohort of attendees and fantastic to support a local business. We’ll be back! I wanted to leave a review as I couldn’t believe there was even one bad review on here! Really delicious breakfast and great service, we had the steak rosti, which was cooked to perfection with a perfect runny egg! It’s great that there are a few different breakfast options on there, which typically you don’t get in other places. We even overheard someone saying “it was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had” as they were leaving, so I know what I’ll be getting next time :)

Dropped in on spec when driving through. Friendly ambiance, excellent food freshly cooked. Looking forward to finding an excuse to go again.

Qué hallazgo tan encantador. Este pequeño café parece modesto desde fuera. Escondido a la vuelta de la esquina de la estación de Coventry recibí una cálida bienvenida de los propietarios. El asiento está limpio y cómodo, me dejaron cargar mi teléfono para mi viaje en un enchufe al lado de la mesa. El desayuno estaba muy bien presentado y delicioso. Una joya absoluta. Gracias 😊

Went in yesterday to be greeted so warmly and made to feel at home. I had a flat white coffee which was freshly made and really tasty. I also noted a beautiful smell which was essential oils and that got me asking more. I went out sniffing my arm then returned for another cup and to buy one or two oils. Unfortunately my husband came to pick me up from the car park and so I left without but took 2nd cup as a takeaway. I Don't suppose I will be passing any time soon . But if I did it would definitely be my coffee stop. I learned alot in a few minutes about these oils but I also felt so welcome and so relaxed during my visit. Thank you both such lovely people

Es un bar de cócteles adecuado, servicio de mesa, mucha elección. Me alegro de venir por uno o dos. Sin embargo, no me quedaría toda la noche. El servicio era muy bueno - amable

We called into Hot Cocoa following a recommendation and I am very glad that we did! The hot chocolate is divide. I went for the 33% milk chocolate and it was delicious, the kids also enjoyed their drinks and they have a great selection of cakes and chocolates. Not your average hot chocolate, is a real treat and definitely worth a visit!

Visited here for Sunday "carvery" whilst staying onsite. Service was excellent by all staff members, however we were expecting a carvery where you help yourself to a selection of roast meats and veg. This wasn't the case it was just a regular Sunday roast prepared in the kitchen and served at your table. The roast itself was very average,the only veg being peas and carrots along with cheap tasting pigs in blankets. This was priced at around £21 pp for 2 courses,I think it was done as cheap as possible. Although the food tasted absolutely fine it was by no means anything other than average and definitely not a carvery.

So I ordered an afternoon tea as a treat for myself and my daughter. It was amazing! Being a vegetarian Im really fussy when it comes to food. Linda did an excellent tea for us. 100 💯 highly recommend. Best one i have ever had.

A nice small cafe serving excellent coffee/tea and a handsome scone. The tables are arranged in an open square room in a functional way so it couldn't be described as cosy. But it's a pleasant enough place with very friendly staff. A little off the beaten track for Whitley Bay centre, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping off.

Eravamo in visita da Leroy Merlin Romanina a Roma ed essendo le 13 ci siamo recati al bar interno gestito da Makers caffè. Cibo discreto ma una delle due ragazze che erano in servizio in data 24 maggio 2024, scortese ed arrogante! Scegliendo una piadina, abbiamo chiesto se anziché prendere la prima esposta, ci poteva usare la cortesia di prenderci la seconda, si e’ rifiutata. Anzi, prima ha detto di sì, poi ha preso tutto il piatto di portata e si e’ girata di spalle portandosi il piatto dietro per non farci vedere, mi sono spostata e le ho fatto notare che stava facendo l’opposto di ciò che avevo chiesto. Mi ha risposto in tono arrogante che lei prendeva quella che voleva perché a suo avviso sono tutte uguali. Ha smesso di servirmi lasciando che terminasse la sua collega. Pessimo

Called into The Chapel today for lunch, I had the salad - this is far and away the best salad I have ever eaten, and so so good for you - with spinach, beans, blueberries, seeds, beetroot, rice, carrots, peaches. Absolutely delicious thank you The Chapel. :-D
