Delightful garden-located cafe with a varied, interesting and great-value menu. So many great choices- how to decide?! The serving team is professional, friendly and helpful; they went the extra mile today accommodating my current mobility issues. This is a charming cafe that offers beautifully cooked and presented tasty food and delicious ice cream at keen prices. Highly recommended.

This cafe is an absolute gem. Alot more people have learned about it so it is very crowded at times, so I strongly suggest you book a table. The menu doesn't change much but the value, quality and quantity of the food can't be beaten. The people actually care whether you enjoyed when you ate and the tablecloths are an added bonus. I have been here for lunch many times now and will continue to go. The bonus also is their plants outside that you can buy. Whoever is in charge here is doing everything right. May they remain in business for a long time!!!!!! I love the place.

We are regulars here, and it is always a great experience. It is fantastic to have this so local, and it clearly is very popular The setting is great, cosy and welcoming inside and great ooutdoor seating with heaters and rugs etc. Always brilliant food, not your bog-standard boring menu either.

I have visited this Cafe on numerous occasions and am never disappointed. A great venue to catch up with friends. Quirky decor, friendly staff, extensive creative meat/veggie/vegan menu and the food is delicious! Free parking on site. Eat inside or under cover outside, during colder months heating from gas garden heaters available, along with blankets if required. Advisable to book nearer to lunch time as is a very popular choice.

Brilliant place that punches way above its weight and completely and hilariously puts to shame many snooty overrated and overpriced establishments in our area of East Sussex. Can’t fault it - ambience, cool vibe (without even trying), great staff, value for money and FANTASTIC FOOD

Had a lovely lunch here. Would advise to reserve a table as very busy. Amazing latte and toasted bacon and cheese sandwich. Downside was only one highchair unfortunately so my 18month old had to sit on adult chair for half of our meal until one became available. Staff friendly and helpful. Will return once they have more highchairs available.

This is our go to cafe and have never had a bad experience. It's a treat for us as a family to eat out these days and when you spend your hard earned money you don't want to be disappointed. Lovely Carol Klein for me, perfect cappuccino . Breakfast wrap and Full Monty and pancakes for the others. Perfect

We were visiting Burwash for a garden fete and popped in here with the plan of grabbing a coffee. When we saw the menu however we decided to stay for food and were not disappointed. I had a vegetarian breakfast and there was only just enough space on the large plate to contain the food. Everything was cooked to perfection (nicely runny eggs) and all for under £7! I'm particular about my coffee and that was perfect too. Burwash is a good 40 mins from home but I would travel here again quite happily just for the food.

Came across this place by chance and so pleased we did- will definitely be a place to visit regularly. I would say a hidden gem with amazing food. We felt so full afterwards that we thought we wouldn’t want to eat for at least another 48 hours! The menu is extensive and the Monty Don breakfast is huge- just love the names of them all on the menu. The two young waitresses were fantastic, very professional and friendly- a credit to the business. A bonus is that they also sell 🌱 plants. Look forward to returning soon.

Wow! This is a real hidden gem! Decided to try this place for lunch, I hadn’t booked but the cafe were super accommodating and managed to squeeze us in even though they were super busy. We had a lovely lady who took our order, they were more than happy to make my fussy 3 year old a small sandwich with cucumber and I had the most delicious salad. The food really was exceptional, all the staff were super friendly the service was also excellent. Can’t wait to go back again! Note… parking is really tricky in the car park, park on the side of the road on the designated verge if you can.

Had the croque provencal and they were very happy to change the salad for one of their daily specials. Absolutely delicious. You need to have a good appetite as the portions are very generous, although very happy to provide ‘doggy bag’

Wonderful food and friendly service. Wide choice of style through the specials. On site and lay-by parking. Offering home deliveries during the Covid-19 outbreak. Only downsides if you're an elderly gent is that the current loo is a portable shed.

I’ve been coming here for food for a while and it’s always deliciously prepared and served by very friendly and welcoming staff. It’s a lovely cafe situated in a quiet side road in the centre of Ticehurst village, well worth seeking out, keep your eyes peeled for the sign for The Courtyard Cafe. The breakfasts set you up for the day and the lunches are amazing, I had the homemade quiche with chips and salad which was all homemade by the lovely staff and it was so delicious. Daily specials are also available including teas, coffees and cake. Good size portions, with seating outside for sunny days and very clean inside with plenty of seating. Ample parking available at the village car park just round the corner from the cafe, it’s a really friendly place to relax and so worth a visit. Will be going back again very soon.

Highly recommend small business and this is the one to go to. Its run by a friendly and professional A-List team who produce their own homemade cakes 24/7. A variety of hot drinks and most of all a Personal Service to everyone including doggies. For this Easter a £5 special of a Hot Drink, homemade cup cakes, easter chick and eggs all brilliantly presented. This cafe caters for all types of dietary requirements. Nat's an Ace with the cappuccino and the corporate Strive logo sits on a white froth on top of this wonderful drink. If you are unsure what is in each product, just ask Heather. Based in Sackville Road next door to Property Cafe. Its definitely worth a visit, a friendly smile and most of all, the price is right! We were so impressed, we had to photograph it for your all to see what you get. Just remember Its 1 Hot Drink and Cake!. Happy Visiting to everyone who comes to Strive Cafe :) Come and say Hello to Nat and Heather. It's Nat's birthday on 9th April 2023, but this Thursday, 6th April - Nat and Heather are giving Everyone a FREE piece of birthday cake. We look forward to seeing you and of course to Wish Nat a Happpppy Birthday for Sunday 9th. C U then :)
