The best restaurants serving Mexican food in London

This is really a review of Opentable, not the restaurant, since the latter was closed when I turned up with my confirmed booking. It appears to have closed permanently a while ago. Opentable are poorly run, do not check their links and waste people's times. Opentable never reverted to me after I sent them my comments. I shall continue to seek compensation. Generally, avoid Opentable and book directly with restaurants.

Absolutely amazing food, really friendly and attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely a restaurant I will visit again if I’m in the area. The restaurant choice proved to be a fantastic option for a birthday meal. We left very full as the portion sizes are very generous. Excellent value for money. 10/10 restaurant.

Disappointing experience. The naked chicken burrito was mostly rice with minimal chicken, the tables and floor were dirty and the staff couldn’t seem to be less interested in what they were doing

The menu offers a great variety with something for everyone, and every dish we tried was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is modern yet cozy—perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual night out. A special shoutout to **Timi**, who looked after us so well. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, and informative, taking the time to explain the dishes and offer recommendations. It really elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area—it’s a gem!

Navjot prepares perfect food at proper time, but whenever others take orders always delay, no taste as well

Had a lovely meal and staff were wonderful. Great atmosphere. The food was really good. Would definitely recommend. Nice to go somewhere different that isn’t a chain restaurant.

Went for dinner post show food did take a while to come out but was good

The most awful front of house team - the man with the glasses should be ashamed of himself and his man bun - I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed such laziness and appalling service - aside from the lady being the bar Taqueria you should be ashamed of your training and your staff - customers were an inconvenience to this shambles

Perfect place to eat with children on the south bank and really reasonable too. (£6 for pasta and meatballs, fries and broccoli!). I was having a day in London with my 6 year old and stupidly hadn’t brought the plug for my charger, everything was on my phone such as Apple Pay for the tube, and theatre tickets for later etc. so by the time we went for an early dinner I was panicking. The restaurant does have charging ports which is so helpful but I didn’t have my plug. Staff showed me they had portable chargers for £3- perfect. However it didn’t work when I paid! (Nothing to do with the restaurant though) A couple of staff weren’t really sure how to help, but one staff member said he would help me and went to ask his colleagues for a plug for me. One came through and took my phone to charge it. To say I was relieved was an understatement, we stayed for a really nice coffee and dessert after our mains. We were able to enjoy the rest of our special day thanks to their kindness. Really enjoyed the food too. Thankyou!

booked reservation online, confirmation email received. arrived and was told they do not serve food.... complete waste of time researching for a place to go what restaurant does not serve food. staff were rude would not recommend this place

Decided to stop here with a friend to use my tastecard. The place was busy but a nice atmosphere. The staff are attentive and the food was delicious with great cocktails to finish the meal off with.

Fabulous food and charming service. All dishes were very tasty in particular the chicken yuzu salad and cauliflower tacos. The surroundings of our outdoor table were all quite quaint - coloured Notting Hill homes on a quiet street. We were well looked after by our waiter who seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the menu and its ingredients. Highly recommended from AlrightAndy 🇬🇧
