Really testy Mexican tapas. Whether it’s meat or vegetarian options, both were really good (especially the crispy cauliflower bits, it felted kinda meaty). Atmosphere was really positive and staff didn’t hurry you to get your orders. Good Wahaca branch to visit.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Wahaca Canary Wharf! We’ve been a regular at Wahaca, we’ve tried their Stratford, Oxford Circus and Canary Wharf branches so far and it has been consistent taste. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with great vibes and friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding—every bite was packed with bold, fresh flavors. The crispy cauliflower was perfectly seasoned and had the most satisfying crunch. The tacos and taquitos were bursting with delicious fillings, and the tostadas had the perfect balance of texture and taste. To top it all off, the margaritas were spot on—zesty, refreshing, and just the right amount of kick! If you love Mexican food done right, this is the place to be. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back!

Shuvo what a guy, made excellent recommendations on dishes and made the experience extra special. Also food was top tier as well the pork belly with the tortillas.

We went here for dinner before a concert and it was lovely. Food was good value, great portions, and quite speedy. I was put off by the supervisor at the host stand initially as he made a comment about me being out of breath after going up the stairs and it really put me in a frustrated mood at the beginning of the meal as he was implying that I was unfit. However then we had Stefy I as a waitress and she redeemed the entire experience. Although she didn’t need to and shouldn’t have to apologize for her supervisors rude comments - she did and made sure to let me know she was going to make sure I still had a great dinner regardless of how it had started. We ended up having a lovely meal and she redeemed our experience. She was very friendly, accommodating, and made us feel at ease throughout the meal! Overall a nice experience and I would return as long as Stefy I was our waitress again!

We were a group of 4 adults. We chose a sharing menu (really good start)for 2 and then added more. With drinks ( 3 pints and 2 cocktails) the bill was £130 Inc 12.5 service. Lots to eat, all really tasty and interesting, great service and quick. We had 45 mins, but didn't feel rushed and left happy.

Excellent food and attention especially from Estefy who attended us speaking in Spanish.

The food was good. The mezcal cocktails were Excellent. And the service was brilliant - Stefy was always on hand and had great recommendations whenever i asked. Quite busy and yet service never felt rushed or frantic.

He estado yendo a Wahaca en varios lugares durante muchos años ya que la comida es muy sabrosa y el enfoque de muchos platos pequeños es genial para acomodar un apetito variable. Hace poco cené con un amigo en la sucursal de Canary Wharf. La comida era genial, pero el servicio fue consistentemente lento desde tomar nuestro pedido, hasta que aparecieron las bebidas. Hay un set de comida llamado "Wahaca para uno" que pedí ya que parecía una buena relación calidad-precio. El problema con esto es que todo se une en una bandeja de madera. La mía tardó años en llegar y bromeé diciendo que mi amigo habría terminado su comida para cuando llegara la mía. Eso no sucedió, pero estuvo cerca. Creo que la comida "para uno" debe servirse en dos partes: esperaría que las papas fritas y los champiñones llegaran rápido, ya que están fríos y son un buen entrante, luego el resto. Preferiría que un plato grande se utilizara para la segunda parte para capturar cualquier relleno de tacos que quiera hacer un descanso para ello. He visto el cambio de menú a lo largo de los años y Wahaca ha tomado algunas decisiones razonables para mantener un control sobre los costos de los ingredientes. Hubo un breve período en el que abandonaron la póliza, pero es admirable que solo vendan pollo de granja gratis. El menú es bueno, pero sería bueno ver el regreso de Modelo Negra y la leche - tiro de chocolate gratis que solían hacer.

The beef gringa tacos were amazing. Nice to have a taster of the margarita trios. And our server was great.

The service from Steph in Wahaca, Canary Wharf was honestly top notch. She was very attentive, kind and smiley. Food is okay, the guacamole was really nice and passion fruit margarita was banging!! Bar woman was very cold and rude if I’m completely honest.

Our waiter was not particularly welcoming. He was cold and unpleasant. When he brought the bill he didn’t give us the chance to review it. He just shove the card machine in our face, expecting us to pay without giving us the chance to check the amount or confirming it is ok. We have had way better service here.

Really fresh, tasty food - we were so impressed with the overall experience. Every dish we chose was beautifully cooked and presented, and the service was friendly. 5 stars all round.

I had a wonderful experience here due to the lovely Kaiden! A large group of us attended the restaurant on Saturday night and the restaurant was absolutely heaving and yet somehow Kaiden managed to make sure we all got our orders on time and had the cake served with some style too! Huge shout out!!

A superb experience! The food was delicious. The personal waiters are very friendly and go the extra mile to ensure a good experience. Even though they had a lot of customers, they seated us (without reservation) within a minute at a very nice spot. The food is made fresh, yet doesn't take long before arrival. There's a very cosy yet chique atmosphere. It's a little pricey, but definitely deserves every penny and the price isn't over the top or anything. Would recommend to everyone!

We went to get a round of cocktails there but the food looked really tempting so we ended up having a veggie nachos as well.

Food was great. We all had the wahaca for one. Good selection of dishes. Service was a bit slow and not very attentive. Biggest downer was that now white wine available. Waiter just shrugged it off and commented happen before. This is really bad management to a have one of restaurants many drink options unavailable on multiple occasion. However the food saves them and we would come back.

Stefy was a great waitress, it was my friends birthday and we all had a great time here.

Excellent Mexican food restaurant, all their dishes are very good and varied, they also have excellent cocktails prepared by Jose and Angi, a good welcome that Guste gives you, an excellent person who loves his job.

A really good variety of vegetarian options available and all tasted really good. I got the halloumi tacos, fried sweet potato and cauliflower bites. The tres leches tiramisu was amazing - would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and service was prompt.

Had the most bizarre experience ever at this place when I visited the restaurant with my daughter for celebrating my birthday that ruined the otherwise great evening and excellent food. My daughter handed over a box of cake as is typically done to bring it at the end of meal for celebration. After the fantastic meal, the waitress assigned who knew it was my birthday and wished me so got me Churros on the house for celebration. After that my daughter asked her to bring the cake at which she remarked, you bought a cake I.e. they lost track of celebratory cake. However the interesting part was when she did bring the cake, she bought the entire box exactly as given with the cake in the cardboard box, no candles, celebrations etc, Essentially there you go, your cake. What defies belief is the waitress and restaurant not thinking through why has a customer given them a birthday cake, no one told them to temporarily store it for us. It is no Tesco grocery or coat handed over for convenience, it's a cake !!. Of course it made no sense as the birthday boy ro demand they bring the cake back again with fanfare and my daughter was equally embarrassed to request the same. My comments don't take anything away from the restaurant which otherwise served fantastic food for dinner in great ambience. Just that they need to think carefully about customer service for special occassions to avoid a repeat of this bizarre incident

Food really tasty and fresh. Great service. Only downside is they don’t take cash. I wasn’t told or didn’t see that before booking or ordering. Lucky I had money in account. Wondering what would have happen if I didn’t?

Spacious and comfy restaurant with good vibes. Food was great! Everything we tried were good -- tacos, taquito and quesadilla. The cocktails and drinks were great too. We also loved the dessert. Will definitely be back!

Deliveroo order. A little disappointed with the broccoli as it's a little too charred. I hope management can improve on this.

Food was good but the service was really poor

The good and bad cancel out each other when it comes to this restaurant. Me and my son ordered from these people. When the food arrived we looked inside of the boxes and the tacos were about enough to fill up a toddler for an hour at max. One of the drinks were warm and the other was cold. The food itself also did not arrive hot, however I'm unsure of whether it's supposed to be or not. We weren't particularly impressed so we came over to see the reviews, and low and behold, people are sending pictures of their food, burritos that are the size of a bread loaf and tacos that were worth about 3 of the ones we got. It was almost like we ordered food to go rather than dinner. The order came up to 27 pounds, 32 pounds when we include fees so im wondering if we got ripped off. On the bright side, the food was very nice and they do some great churros, but in future I don't think we would be ordering from them again unless we're certain that bigger portions will arrive.

Habíamos reservado para 19: 45 ya que no sabíamos exactamente cuánto tiempo llevaría la experiencia que estábamos haciendo para el cumpleaños de la hija antes. Llegamos a los 18: 40 y pensamos cuando vimos a los clientes en el restaurante que tendríamos una larga espera, hablamos con el anfitrión de la puerta diciendo que llegamos más de una hora antes. Llamó a un camarero y nos llevaron a una mesa de inmediato, el personal era todo educado, sonriendo todo el tiempo mostrando que estaban disfrutando de sus trabajos. Pedimos bebidas y comida, hubo un ligero retraso ya que el restaurante estaba ocupado, pero eso nos lo explicaron cuando nos sentamos a la mesa. La comida estaba caliente cuando llegó y toda la mesa se sirvió al mismo tiempo con los entrantes, luego la red, solo un par tenía pudines, que se veían bien cuando llegaron y fueron devorados. Una buena experiencia y un restaurante al que volver cuando estamos de vuelta en la zona.

Excellent food, cannot rate highly enough. First time at Wahaca but it came highly recommended so we thought we'd give it a try. Service friendly and efficient. Served by Stefy, who was excellent! Food items brought when ready, not altogether, but as we were sharing, this worked out very well indeed. Nice drinks, particularly the Three Citrus Fizz. Dishes we had were Nachos with Chorizo, Buttermilk Chicken Tacos, Beef Gringa Tacos, Ancho Chicken Tacos, Pork Belly, and Tiramisu. Probably the best tiramisu I've ever had!

Great service and delicious food. Mohammed was our waiter at the Canary Wharf branch and looked after us very well. Unfortunately there were dishes we couldn’t eat because of shared frying pan with pork, hope that changes in the future.
