Los Mochis Notting Hill in Kensington and Chelsea

Fabulous food and charming service. All dishes were very tasty in particular the chicken yuzu salad and cauliflower tacos. The surroundings of our outdoor table were all quite quaint - coloured Notting Hill homes on a quiet street. We were well looked after by our waiter who seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the menu and its ingredients. Highly recommended from AlrightAndy 🇬🇧

My family and I visited Los Mochis Notting Hill last Sunday for my daughter’s 27th birthday. We received a warm welcome & within a few minutes were seated at a lovely outdoor table. Our waiter was friendly & attentive and looked after us well & with good humour. We ordered a variety of different dishes, all of which were delicious. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

I visited this restaurant yesterday evening at 8pm, for dinner with my partner however were extremely disappointed by the service which ruined the experience for the most part. When we arrived, the couple next to us were complaining about something to the manager, which we ignored but now understand why. We ordered food and drinks with one server, which was delivered by someone else alongside our starters and sushi which were all delivered by different members of staff who were being directed to which table the food was for by the manager and seemed to have no idea of table numbers. Random staff were walking around talking to each other instead of waiting on tables and didn't seem to have any sort of system. We received 4 portions of guac and chips which was great but we only ordered one and there was no mention of it being refillable? They seemed to be delivering it to us as if we ordered it - so I wonder if this was someone else's order? We also received a dish which wasn't ours but before we could say anything the server has disappeared again. After we finished our starters no server checked on our table or seemed to notice we had not received our tacos for 35 minutes - finally we asked and the young guy said 'it will be 2 minutes', another 20 minutes later and an hour and forty minutes into our booking and still no main course we asked again and they were finally brought out. The man who seemed to be in charge kindly took them off our bill, but that doesn't make up for the fact no one checked on our table, asked how the food was or gave any type of customer service the entire time we were sat down. Overall the food was delicious, but the staff and whatever system they have going does not work at all and it needs to be sorted out! The staff who we complained to were really polite, but the lack of customer service and waiting on tables to a relatively small restaurant is shocking especially when people are choosing to spend their money at your venue and despite so many reviews saying the same thing there is obviously no improvement.

I love this restaurant! I am extremely lucky as I live 15 minutes away by foot! Food is so delicious! Customer Service is amazing! I have visited numerous many times Introducing so many of my friends to the wonderful cuisine. This restaurant is one of my regular haunts so as to speak and there are quite a few favourite dishes on my including the duck salad! This evening, I popped in after my reformer Pilates class, which was next door & grabbed a takeaway duck salad! Absolutely delicious! Thank you to the amazing team at Los Mochis x

From the moment we got here we felt super rushed, even though I had a reservation. Our waiter, didn't catch his name but was Serbian, was quiet, blunt and came across rude and condescending, especially when we were asking some questions about the menu. He kept on telling us to order when we had just started our starters he kept saying they are busy and food will take ages to come out. It didn't.... literally came out 5min after we ordered. Eventually he turned on the charm as he probably thought he was gonna lose his service charge. We got the bill and saw the 13.5%!!!!! Service charge added. I asked to take it off which then bought on the 3rd degree on why I did not want to pay...which is weird as it's discretionary so I don't need to be questioned. This left a sour taste. Food is actually decent, though for the price you would expect a bugger portion. It was our first time visiting and would probably go again purely for the food but not to be served like that. It's meant to be a joyous experience eating out and we sort of felt the waiter already wanted us to leave. Which is a shame. And don't get me started paying £10 for two tablespoons of guacamole what a bump!

El lugar es muy bonito pero tanto el servicio como la comida menos que mediocre. Pedimos sushi y tiraditos pero la calidad no se corresponde con el precio de los platos. El sushi no era fresco y además si sabor. Hay que sumar que el camarero que nos sirvió era bastante arrogante y mal educado. Le doy dos estrellas porque el sitio realmente es muy agradable pero no volvería.

Terrible staff and overpriced. The hostess Refused to sit us as a 5, although possible within the seating arrangements.. clearly demonstrated by the 5 people sitting beside us in the photo. We were told to sit as a 3 and a 2!! Then tried to add service charge 20%… for what I do not know !! Will never return and do not advise.

I have been here quite a few times. Food is food but unfortunately service is bad and it is getting worse and worse. Please fiz your service.

The food, what there is of it, is good and flavoursome. But the portions are not just small - they are miniscule. The prices are ridiculously expensive for the couple of mouthfuls you get and it is very poor value for money. A bottle of sparkling water is £6, Crispy California Tostaditos, which are literally one mouthful each were £12 and the automatic service charge is 15%. And it's full of foreigner - not local people. You will have to spend a lot if you are hungry!

My second time here and it was just as brilliant! I love that this restaurant has such a wide variety of small portions so you can swing by here if you just want to have a little snack, but also order several plates if you want to eat a stomach’s full. Great decor, great vibe, even better food! Today we tried the spiced edamame (5/5), salmon on rice cake (5/5) , some sushi and some chicken, duck and prawn tacos. Can’t wait to be back again!
