Have always ordered both choco and ducle le chece sauce with churros and they do not charge and on this occasion they did without advising it would be chargeable. A shame as got unexpected bill at the end. Other than that loved food and venue

One of the worst places in London in terms of service. Selection of Mexican food is sufficient, but arm yourself with plenty of patience if you decide to visit. Also, watch out for their beer menu that doesn’t specify the amount you are paying for (it lists can price only, not draft).

Excellent Mexican restaurant in London. We tried it as a couple for dinner a few weeks ago. They offer a route at a very honest price of £25 each, which includes the best dishes on their menu. Very nice for sharing and tasting different dishes. The cocktails are also very good. Fast and very courteous service. Absolutely recommended

I've been here many times and it's the best casual Mexican food you can get in London. The food is good and comes very quickly but getting a hold of the server can be tough, especially if you're sitting outside.

The place is very nice and the location is panoramic over the Thames. The food was excellent, also thanks to the precious advice of the waiter Sahbi we tasted many dishes that suited the palates of each diner. The other waitress was also very friendly and helpful. The quality-price ratio is right.

We had good food and a highlight was that our waiter spoke German. The decor there was also very comfortable. Our waiter was Sahbi B and, as already mentioned, he spoke a little German so it was a little easier for us to order because he explained to us what it was. It was also great that there was a dedicated gluten-free menu and the food from this menu was also very good.

A lovely meal soooo much food & all of it delicious. We had the favourites sharing menu as neither of us have eaten Mexican before so weren't sure what we liked. We discovered we liked Mexican 😄 Every dish was freshly prepared & really delicious. The staff were friendly & helpful & the views over the Thames were beautiful, they have us an amazing table.

When my husband said we were going to Wahaca before the theatre I couldn't believe it. We never do chains, even small ones like this. I nearly refused, and I am so glad I didn't. It's a pleasant, informal space. We were first seated next to a very large noisy party, and the host very kindly moved us upstairs to a quiet table with a view of the river. The service in general was very polite and efficient. The food was delicious and a great value. The pork pibil tacos were so delicious: they gave us a little recipe card and we made them at home. Ours were tasty but not as good as theirs. Scrumptious guacamole, fish tacos, bean and cheese quesadillas. Good tequila menu with very reasonable prices. We lived in Texas for several years, and this food compares well.

Espantoso servicio, sin atención al detalle, pedidos de comida mal, mezclados o totalmente olvidados. No hay comunicación, sólo gofre. Los lados vinieron antes que la red, la red nunca ordenó llegar, algunos principales llegaron al final si la comida, la comida fría, las bebidas calientes frías, luego como recompensa solo ofreció un helado o un café para compensarlo, luego agregaron cargo por servicio. No hay rendición de cuentas en absoluto, sólo gofre.

We ordered the feasting menu for two and non-alcoholic drinks. Food amazing, drinks great and the best of all was the service. My friend and I were served by Carlota. She’s super nice and sweet, brought us everything in time and helped us packed the leftovers. She definitely made it a fantastic experience!

Kids make their own food. The idea of serving kids with food plate that they can sample them self is really great. That was very good surprise then normal blunt served complete meal.

Delish food with a ton of vegetarian options. We got the "Discover Meal For 2" and it was way more than enough for the both of us. It let's you try many of their options. Definitely try the sweet potato and feta taquitos! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to London.

Such quick service and very good with allergies. Johan was a fabulous waiter as was the lady supervisor sorry I can't recall her name. I think some of the other waiting team could do with considering how loud they are and how it may impact others. At one point one was loudly sharing about how to heal back pain and showing how to do it on the wall. Fair enough but be quieter next time! Didn't last long thankfully! Love eating at Wahacas and always a great pre theatre spot..

¡Decepcionado! ¡Decepcionado! ¿Por dónde empiezo? Aparecimos, nos unimos a la lista de espera. Cuando llegué podría haber reservado en mesa abierta para una mesa en quince minutos, pero le dije que no haga esto, se terminó esperando 45 minutos. Entonces nos dijeron que el desierto será gratuito, pero nos dieron uno para compartir! Además de que la comida era promedio y terminamos estando allí casi 3 horas. Nunca hubiera esperado esto.

Food was very good value. Super fresh, and vibrant flavours. Service was fast and efficient. The place was pretty noisy and cafeteria like. But I think it suits the style of the restaurant and the speedy service. I really didn't know what to order, so went for the set menu for two. So I got a got cross section of what's on offer.

Took 30 minutes to take my allergen order after taking my partners order 30 minutes earlier so we ate separately. Chased the waiter multiple times but the management didn’t seem to care. When the manager finally came to take my order she gave no apology and was almost confrontational that we were upset. She gave us free chips and £3 drinks but just felt like a reactive reply rather than actually understanding our frustration. Terrible all around and not at all what I’ve experienced at other wahaca’s

I’ve been to Wahaca many times to many of their locations, but coming to the Southbank one is always a pleasure. The chicken and avocado tacos are always a classic for me, and trying the battered fish ones was great. The sourness of the lime really complemented the fish. Our server was Momo and he was really helpful while ordering and very kind. Will be coming back again.

Server was fantastic and made the whole experience, food was very good although comes out when it's ready. For a nibble style meal to be expected. Quality was exceptional, one dish I expected to be hot however was stone cold. This was a little disappointing however flavours were on point. On the whole a great restaurant and good if you don't want to be on the main drag near the London eye which can be a little overwhelming.

We liked the burritos especially the beef one. Guacamole was fresh and spot on! I just hoped they would offer more tortilla chips but overall, the food quality was close to perfect. The one in the counter, server, and the manager on duty were all kind and asks us regularly about the food. Pure customer service!

Went with friends for dinner. The service was really quick and our waiter was lovely and patient with us despite it being absolutely packed. I would advise booking for dinner on a weekend rather than just turning up. Most of the food was delicious, I would thoroughly recommend their signature houmous and frijoles, along with the sweet potato bravas. Those were phenomenal. We also ordered the plantain tacos, which used to be my favourite years ago but they seem to have changed the recipe and they were really difficult to eat. We ended up having to leave them. Overall wonderful experience, though, with quick service as the dishes come out when they're ready, which makes for the perfect sharing experience among a table.

Went for a quick bite after work. Waitress was lovely but my god the wait for the food was bizarrely long. The first meal, for my friend, came out after 20 minutes, and then one of my plates came out 20 minutes later. I eventually had to ask a waitress where the hell the rest of my meal was and she said my order had been mixed up and the ticket went missing. She then brought it out and the plantain was stone cold and rubbery from having been sat waiting for service so long. 10 minutes later they accidentally sent out another plantain - clearly they were supposed to send me out the fresh one but the waitress brought me the cold one that had been sat out for ages. Chaotic and abysmal. I complained and got refunded for one plate but tbh it spoiled my evening :( the only consolation was that our server was very polite and my cocktail was quick and nice

We had dinner at Wahaca Southbank with our two young girls, and Ruben could not have been more entertaining or attentive. He went above and beyond to make our experience special, from the excellent food service and cocktail recommendations to the custom-made non-alcoholic drink for our daughter—just so she could match “mummy and daddy.” The food was fantastic, and the service was truly top-tier. Thank you, Ruben, for making our evening so engaging and fun! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing meal here this week. Our first time visiting Wahaca and we weren’t disappointed. Bruna was fantastic at giving recommendations and guiding us through the menu. We loved everything we had!

We had an amazing dinner with my friends, great and fresh food. The staff were amazing, we were served by Sabi and Marcim. They were very helpful and friendly and we had great conversations with them. I wish there were more people like them, they genuinely brightened our evening!

Been to wahaca multiple times, big fans of beef gringa tacos, last visit with my boyfriend was just for drinks. We love theirs passionfruit margarita and mojito. Dalitso took care of us, he was very polite and friendly.

Seems like a good place, tho a couple of misses, wrong wine delivered to the table, coffee was undrinkable, great film on surface, small plates were highly praised by the group

The staff were really nice and the service was impeccably fast. Food was really nice. My favourite was the chicken and avocado quesadilla and the sweet patatas bravas. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed the build your own taco which was great for a picky eater.

Was OK, mixed reception....staff too busy too give you attention...had to seek staff out to discuss order...they do take blue light card, but took 3 staff members and a manager to sort out the bill..

If you sit on the ground floor by the entrance, be mindful that the door is constantly opened by customers, who then wait their turn to be seated with the door wide open... it's winter and freezing outside, and I like to be eating my food in the warmth, not with an ice breeze from the North Pole!

We stuggled to find it until we realised it was UPSTAIRS from the riverside walkway. There's building work going on around. Service and food were very good, and not too expensive for what we had.
