The best restaurants serving Mexican food in England

Pretty average not sure what the fuss is about. half of the burrito had sauce and the other half was just rice

The food was amazing I got the beef brisket and it was so flavourful, the guy explained the process to me and even checked up to make sure the meal was good 100% coming back soon

This family friendly, little pocket of sunny Mexico, once again dazzled with dishes which were just so fresh and delicious. Attentive, friendly service and help with food choices for those needing guidance, complete a dining experience not to be missed. I would like to try every item on the menu so will be going back many more times!!

I went in for some dinner, and was treated to a nice atmosphere by some friendly staff. That was bettered by the food, which was absolutely gorgeous stuff. I want to go again, and soon.

Nice little place. We booked a table for 4 we were waiting on a member of our party for some time. With pressure from staff to order our food for the next table coming in. They didn't actually turn up so the pressure to eat and leave quickly was there for no reason. We ordered a lot of drinks and food wanting a calm evening with friends catching up and eating.

Update to original review: we are so sad that this amazing venue appears to have closed? It was a place that deserved to thrive and enjoy great success. We were really looking forward to returning when next in the area 😔 …………………. Complete hidden gem, only a short drive from Harbury Fields caravan park. We enjoyed the relaxing ambiance, the well-chosen music and the Cold River cider .. so much that we came back twice while still in the area. Thank you Hillbilly’s .. we have thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food, we will return and we will be recommending to others.

The nachos here are amazing! Not something I would ever order out if I’m honest but we fancied something new for date night. Safe to say we weren’t disappointed

Wonderful lunch here. A great little gem in a lovely location. Very friendly service and food was unreal. We ordered one of everything (it’s quite a small menu) and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Nachos and salsa was super fresh and the quesadilla and fish taco were unreal. The margaritas were also amazing! The place is pretty small and I imagine cold get busy but can’t recommend enough!

Disgusting taste and very awful ingredients very rude behavior don't no how to talk with customers. Not recommended. Never come again.

It was a nice beach side Mexican restaurant in weston-super-mare.. Went there for lunch and all of the dishes we took were pretty good. There are quite a few chicken dishes which are not a common thing in UK restaurants anymore.. Chicken enchiladas are pretty good and surprising the vegetable enchiladas too.. The mocktails are sweeter side and tastes well.... I liked it much more because beach side restaurant experience for me wasn't great befor this one..

1 star food hygiene rating avoid made us all sick not fun

Planned to visit for a few weeks, once we'd heard how good the food was, we were not disappointed. The food was lovely, the service was excellent and the vibe was relaxed. Loved it, and will be going back soon. AAA+++

Called in on 2/12/24, after being recommended by a local Abingdon resident, place was busy, but they quickly made up a table, had the Mexican special grill, was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back to this little gem of a restaurant, owner and staff were really welcoming too 😊.

Chose wrong meals tonight the quesadila was mojito chicken and incredibly limey completely my taste but very strong flavours x

There is a good selection of craft beers and non-alcoholic beers! The place is huge and very popular, so it’s loud. I didn’t order any food, but their crisp selection is good!
