Went there today with my partner and received a warm welcome from Lindee. We could tell by the love she put into her food whilst prepping and cooking that this was going to be a good find. I can safely say I can see why this establishment has such a high rating across all platforms. The food was exceptional. The flavors in the meat were something else. You also get your moneys worth and some. The box was filled up to the top. You didn’t feel as if you were being shortchanged here. This is definitely my new go to Mexican place better than any of the chain ones. This place put in TLC when it comes to your food something you miss on the big chains out there doing Mexican food. :-)

I really didn’t enjoy the burrito, the jackfruit tasted funny there was a lot of filling at the top of the burrito and not much toward the end. The empanada was a bit dry but tasted ok. Overall not impressed with the quality of the food or price.

Been a while since I had food from here, incredibly delicious as always! Only reason for not the full five stars is due to the tortillas were very thin to the point the tacos were falling apart when I tried to pick them up. Apart from that, everything else was amazing as always!!

The owner is really lovely. Very helpful and friendly. The food was a bit of a let down for me though. Lacked any real flavour, was cold and I'd except real cheese on the nachos rather than the claggy artificial cheese sauce used.

After ordering from this place a bunch on just eat, me and a friend decided to dine in. The food was amazing as ever, but the service was the cherry on top. Incredibly hospitable and the lady that served us was So lovely! Will definitely be returning soon!

A friend and I decided to pop in here after ordering via Just Eat quite regularly, and boy was it worth the walk. The lady working immediately felt like family, we trusted her to take control of our order and we were not disappointed! The portion was great, the quality even better but the service topped everything off. Will be making this a regular thing.

It’s 12:10pm and it’s still not open even though the lights are on and sign saying it’s open, just wasted my lunch time thanks

Just back from eating the tastiest Burritos, Nachos and Empanada we've had in a long time. Viva Mexico has been on our radar for a few months and the fresh flavours and ingredients were a real treat for our taste buds. We are already planning our next visit and look forward to working our way through the menu :-). Thank you for putting a smile on our Sat afternoon.

Seen this place a few times but never went in as we were going somewhere else each time but last week me and my fiancé decided to try it and what can we say amazing food wiith great customer service with fresh ingredients, would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back asap.

Quite expensive fr a burrito but they were good, the meat could be more seasoned though. As some other reviews, they mixed up our order and put the ingredients of one in the other and vice versa. But I might order again every once in a while.

10/10 - food, service and hospitality. It’s hard to find decent Mexican food in the London, but this is an absolute gem! We both had burritos and they were incredible, probably the best we have had in the UK. The owners were so hospitable and bought toys for our toddler to keep him entertained! Finding good customer service is also a rarity nowdays and I can’t speak highly enough of what was provided! Thank you for making our tough day a little bit better, we will be back!

Delicious, hot, tasty food as always

order without cheese and extra meat and no extra meet arrived and it has cheese. i have a cheese allergy so very very dangerous. also no salsa in either of the orders...

My mum and I had lunch here last week. We both got chicken burritos with a bit of everything as this was recommended by the restaurant owner Lindi (I hope I spelled that right!). Lindi also suggested a guava juice. The burrito was really fresh and was a huge portion. The mixture of chipotle chicken and spicy jalapeños with fresh sour cream and coriander was amazing. The guava juice was delicious.

Working nights in London, sometimes you come across some absolute gems. This place is just that! Easily the best burrito I have ever tasted, every bit had me praying to our Lord and saviour! 10/10 would reccomend!

Delicious tacos service top notch definitely worth a visit

The food was packed such that the burrito completely smashed up the tacos we ordered. Having to pick out the pieces from the box, it's a total mess. Real shame as the food itself is tasty, but this is just absolutely awful.

Amazing Mexican food, we stumbled across this place after reading good reviews on it and we were not disappointed. To top it off the owners were friendly, attentive and considerate offering us to sit inside or out, by moving a table for us. If you like authentic Mexican food you have to try this place, the ingredients are fresh and cooked on the premises! You’ll soon be too busy enjoying the food to even talk to your companions as the fantastic flavours will be singing in your mouth! To put it simply, this is heavenly food! We’re not locals but this has become a good reason to visit Winchmore Hill regularly! See you again very soon!

Order was placed. Collection time confirmed. Went to collect at stated time. I even got a text saying it was ready. It then took 38 minutes standing around in the premises before being given the food. I am not impressed.

Massive portion sizes and delicious food! Loved the veggie empanada. Highly recommend and would definitely order again.

Drove past the place by chance and decided to stop for some dinner. The lady running it was super lovely and chatted to us while she made our food. We got tacos, burritos and empanadas. The tacos and empanadas were made fresh from homemade (gluten free!) dough. I had mixed ones and all three meat types were delicious. We were even given free guacamole in the burritos which was such a sweet gesture! Highly recommend

Came here for a lunchtime takeaway chicken burrito. It was OK, but I would not go out of my way to rush back as I have had plenty of better burritos in Central London. The portion size was huge though if you see that as an advantage (actually more than I wanted to eat for my lunch).

Amazing tacos, just ordered off Uber eats and the chicken tacos were amazing!!! So delicious, fresh and full of fresh ingredients and flavour! Loved every bit of them and very happy to have a Mexican cuisine that is local to me! Will definitely be visiting in person and ordering from here. Thank you!

We had the best experience at Viva Mexico, the food was amazing, tasted so fresh, very hygienic, and tasty flavours. Derwinder, the lady whose place is it was very kind and friendly, and catered the best taste according to our preferences. The quantity is quite good and filling, highly recommend!

Amazing place ! Just visited with family, and we had tacos . What an experience we loved it from a first step in. Welcome by a lovely lady. She has made our food from scratch, including tortillas impressive 👏 amount of meat in was over our expectations fresh salsa mmm everything was perfect . We do recommend 👌

Came here with my boyfriend and got two burritos, chicken and beef. The burritos were so full and filling and it tasted amazing. I can actually say it’s the best burrito i’ve had. 10/10 will definitely recommend.

Great takeaway option, Limited seating but the food was 10/10 honestly would go back, The tortillas was good, the chicken was good honestly go there.

What can I say that does this fantastic little place justice? The warmest of welcomes, an impromptu indoor dining area laid on, amazing hospitality and food to die for….. Seriously, one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! We stayed here and ate our way through their delicious menu and it didn’t disappoint. Fresh produce, amazing flavours, and spicy extras. Save room for the churros!!! You owe it to yourself to eat here. Order out if you want, but you’re missing the full experience if you don’t dine here too.

What a find! Fantastic meal this evening. Tacos with fresh slow cooked pork and all the trimmings. Real care taken with the home made taco shells, salsa verde, fresh pork in generous portions. Lady couldn’t have been nicer, let me douse it in extra hot sauce. Loved it.

Got a takeaway and the taco shells felt like they weren't cooked. The tacos had no sauce were beyond dry I didn't add any extras in terms of sauces as I thought the tacos and meat would give enough flavour and sauce but it didn't was so dry, very difficult to eat.

Barbacoa= the inside ok but texture of tortillas feels like not cooked enough or bit thik. missing a bit of crunch, in the avocado feels need sauce to top up. Could be separated in a small container so doesn't get soggy. Averall ok. Pic 2 from left to right. The 2 chickens taco. eats 1 as it was( ✅️), and the second 3/4, the inside as a nachos and left 1 out of 3 tacos.the inside ok but missing the spice so she added her own sriracha sauce. so I can again say, the tortilla not good and the inside ok. Pic 1 And the other love it!!. She say thank you, remind her a bread from our country. Pic 4 The burrito, love it!!.. missing a bit spice but still nice, thanks. Popped in for a quick lunch and was the best, most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had a lovely conversation with the owner and enjoyed the brilliant food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend anyone to visit or order takeaway, a much better option than macdonalds or tortilla, trust me

Fabulous tasting food - as always!

Ordered from here many times and usually it’s great but this evening was inedible. Meat was dripping in fat and oil and totally tasteless. £28 spent on food I had to throw in the bin. Infuriating

it was the most delicious vegetarian and beef burritos. you could taste coriander and a lovely flavours and pretty big. The lady called Neil called me confirm that the fillings I chose wasn't substantial (if I made a mistake and forgot to add more which I did). it was a really good service and the tastiest burrito I had. I love this place. It ticks all the boxes. It’s got a cool vibe, good food and friendly service. I grab one of their authentic fizzy drinks whilst I watch the super helpful lady owner make me all wonders on delights! I’ve had their tacos, burritos but the naked burrito, the chicken one with the nachos is my favourite. I recently tasted their empanadas… wish was a close second. It has a jalapeño kick, which I loved but the green home made salsa is a must as it is just… amazing!

I do love the chipotle burrito but they keep forgetting the sour cream. I’ll make a point of asking for it outright next time because it’s completely different this way. It’s a shame — it’s so good with sour cream but so dry without it.

I had the beef barbacao tacos and they were absolutely heavenly. The lady who served me was very nice and generous (got some extra avocados on top!). Will definitely go back again.

If you haven’t yet been, you absolutely must!! My partner and I had been meaning to try Viva Mexico for the last couple of weeks. Today we went for takeaway lunch and I can confirm we will be frequent customers. The food was delicious - super fresh and very well seasoned. We got a chicken burrito and a beef barbecoa naked burrito. Outstanding flavours!!! The lady was so lovely too. She let us try various bits before choosing toppings. We are lucky to have this place in Winchmore Hill 🙌. Will be back to try the rest of the menu!

As someone spent a lot of time in Mexico, these guys really get it! Everything’s super fresh and absolutely delicious. I asked for everything in my burrito and they still managed to wrap it well. 10/10 so excited to go again. Chicken chipotle + beef barbecue burritos were so so good
