The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Liverpool North West

We didn’t have a booking so just walked in around 7.30pm. The restaurant was busy which is always a good sign on a weekday evening. We were however, greeted with a smile at the door and given a table without a wait. We opted for, babaghanoush with beautiful fresh Arabic bread, lamb shawarma tacos and a mixed shawarma platter to share between 2. The food was brought out quickly and it was all fresh and delicious. Service was pleasant and the restaurant itself had a great relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for family dining. I was shocked that the bill only came to just over £33. Excellent value for money.

Lovely staff, warm and welcoming reception. Amazingly put together dishes full of flavours. Early dinner atmosphere was spot on. EXCEPT for the slightly too loud house music blasting through the speakers. Definitely a light Jazz, bossanova or lounge music would've made the experience even more enjoyable.

My partner and I have been here many times and it's laid back environment, great cocktails, tapas and value for money was well worth coming back every time. I decided to choose Trunk Lounge for my graduation meal as I knew the food would not disappoint. I never understand why the restaurant is never at full capacity!! We were slightly late to our reservation but it wasn't a problem, the table was awaiting us. I was given a complimentary glass of prosecco which was a lovely touch. The lady with blonde hair (who I think was the manager) served us and she was fantastic- especially with my grandparents who didn't understand tapas!! We had a lovely time and the food and drinks arrived promptly along with plates being cleared. The food was grand- from vegetarian dishes to meat dishes. They were so accommodating and it was a great evening and value for money! Will certainly see you soon, thank you for hosting a memorable evening!

This is a fantastic place to eat..I came across it in Dec last year,tried an English breakfast,and I'm addicted! The food is quality,the staff so efficient, friendly,and you get a very warm welcome...it's just perfect for families, solo's...I have no hesitation recommending MB Cafe 62...

Food not nice, cold and chicken had a strange taste so didn’t eat

Absolutely disgraceful service. Three hours for a two course meal. When we asked why it was taking so long we were told not to speak to the the staff in that way!! No excuses given but a free shot of ouzo haha! Don't bother going as they couldn't care less.

Pete was was the most amazing guy I've ever met, so sexy, so professional, one day I think he will be just as good as Ethan the General Manager, what a legend

Tapas muy sabrosas y buen tamaño de porción. Elige 2 o 3 tapas para una buena comida. Servicio muy eficiente y amable. Pasamos un sábado por la tarde muy agradable en el olivo.

Extremely disappointed and feel ripped off. I’ve ordered from here a few times but my meal today was probably worth about £5 nevermind 15-20! Tiny pieces of chicken and barely any rice or salad. Looked like prison food. Also no tahini sauce provided which used to be done in the past. Not ordering again absolute rip off.

Presentation of cocktails not as advertised coming in standard glasses such as strawberry daiquiri came in a normal straight glass not a cocktail glass took shine off it a little.Service is slow on cocktails
