Delivery address was wrong on the system they tried to deliver next door then called me but took another 25 minutes extra to deliver

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This restaurant is appalling. I have never had an experience like it, we are so disappointed. We had a booking 3 months in advance for Christmas Day and as we arrived at the restaurant on Christmas after receiving multiple emails confirming our reservation and paying a near £200 deposit to be told there was no space in the restaurant and that they had double booked. The 7 of us including 82 year old grandparents were completely shocked. However this was not the reason for the 0 star review as I understand mistakes can be made and things can go wrong (however you would think a restaurant on a special day like this would take higher precaution for no mistakes to be made especially after taking deposits from people) The reason for the review is simply how the situation was dealt with, absolutely no consideration or apologies from any of the staff members or the owner. To this day the owner has still not called us to apologise and we are currently on the 11th January. My family were considerate enough not to cause a fuss in the restaurant on Christmas day and just left in disappointment. However we have since called back to share our disappointment and to speak to the owner about the situation to which we have been told everytime that the owner is “not available” and to “leave as many negative reviews as we like”. I understand you are probably looking for a review on the food which I can’t comment on as I did not get to eat a meal from this restaurant. But please take into consideration before eating at this restaurant the type of people you are giving your money too.

Disgusting customer services overbooked Christmas Day for 7 people after booking it 3 months previous and leaving a deposit stay clear !!!

Food was late, cold and not the Turkish experience we are used to

Gran tiempo tenido por familiares y amigos para celebrar un cumpleaños especial. Comida excelente, servicio de primera clase, nada era demasiado problema. Gracias a TODOS en Eaton lugar.

Fui a un sábado por la noche ocupado y conseguí la última mesa disponible. Aun así, el servicio era impecable y nuestros entrantes y comidas principales eran excelentes - este debe ser uno de los mejores restaurantes en Liverpool. Incluyendo 2 copas grandes de vino tinto muy bueno la factura era de menos de £ 50. Muy recomendable.

Wasn’t very pleased with how the food came as it was tossed around in box. The portioning of the rice,hummus and halloumi was minuscule from previous standards. The salad looks like it better days. Not what we expected from them as we have ordered from here many times before and have never been disappointed as we have been today.

Reservamos una mesa para las 8 pm con algunos amigos. La mayoría viajó más de 1 hora para reunirse. Desde el momento en que llegamos nos dijeron que normalmente cierran a las 9 pm los domingos ( ? ¿Por qué tomó una reserva de 8 pm , especialmente como pedimos inicialmente antes y se le dio esa hora) todo estaba apresurado, la comida era lo suficientemente agradable , aunque pedimos menú del desierto y nos dijeron que no tenían postres y no podían hacer café. Parece que sólo nos querían fuera. No me impresiona, no volveré a ir.

Absolutely stunning food - it’s as close to restaurant quality as you can get without being at Woolton Road! Wholeheartedly recommend.

Went with my family of 6- good food but horrendous service, waited ages to get served and bill. Wife as severely disappointed and my disabled/ special needs child was extremely sad and impatient.

Staff were lovely nothing was to much trouble. My concern far to uch lettuce on plate small piece of tomatoe. Sorry to complain even my bowl chips was lettuce and bread. Other food was hot and tasty. Bit expensive in my opinion. Don't think I would return. Sorry

Eton Place Turkish Restaurant never fails to impress with its consistently amazing food. From the delicious monkfish and prawn guvech to the mouthwatering mix grill, every dish is bursting with flavor. The portion sizes are generous, especially with the mix grill, and the quality of the meat is outstanding. The staff are always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. However, I haven't seen the younger waitress for a while; I hope she's still part of the team as her presence added to the welcoming atmosphere

I usually love Eton place but this evening the food was cold , the fries had been re cooked and tasted awful . Pita bread hard and very dry. Tsatsiki /mayo dips missing 😟 really disappointing.

We’ve been regulars here since they opened, and I’m embarrassed that I’ve never given a review before. This restaurant consistently serves hot, fresh, tasty food, which is not easy to find elsewhere. We eat here as a couple, we’ve often brought our children here, we’ve had many big family celebrations here, and if we are meeting friends, this is usually where we would pick. They have never let us down, and always make an extra special effort with the surprise cake on special birthdays. How many places can you say all that about?

Ordered the monkfish and prawn kebab, really looking forward to it, arrived at my house nice and early with zero monkfish, still charged £16 and they had my phone number and didn’t bother to call to let me know. I called them up to ask why they didn’t bother to call me to let me know, guy on the phone said to me “we’ve done this all day and your the first person to call us up to compain” bit of a joke, could have swapped my order, but been charged full wack for something I didn’t receive. Message to Eton Place - customer service goes a long way, and a phone call can take 30 seconds, reputation is a hard thing to get back. Won’t order from here again.

Lighting far too bright - more like a cafe than a restaurant. Would only go during the day in future.

Booked a table for New Years Ever for 9pm, having checked that they were open at midnight. Food ok but service too fast and the bill was presented before it was requested. They wanted everyone out before midnight and just to emphasise the point, told a party of 10 that the bars was closed at 11:30……..on New Years Eve !!!!!! never again. In fact I will never eat there again.

A little expensive for a take away kebab when you can get mid week deals in restaurants as cheap as. However the food was delicious

A delightful local restaurant and a frequent haunt. Superb cuisine, though I do tend to stick to a few favourite selections. A small wine list but quite acceptable range and reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and amenable.

I am sorry to say that this is not good enough. We have far too often overlooked missing items for previous orders but it has happened now again and it’s simply not good enough Elton Place. To be charging the prices that you are now and delivering such poor quality with missing items again is out of order. Won’t be ordering any more I’m afraid after many years of supporting you.

When I called to query why it was taking so long I was told that it had been delivered! Which h it had not, at least not to me! I have CCTV so was able to make my point, but was not a pleasant experience. Not happy.

Delivered very early, piping hot, great quality food. Tough market around here with other good Turkish options, Eton Place is easily as good as any of the others, maybe even better. Will be ordering again.

Great food and very fast delivery

Our first visit to this place. It was to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was very good, portion sizes were generous and the service was good considering we were a party of 10. The bill was reasonable and included a service charge. Be warned, the parking around what is a mainly residential area is poor, so arrive early to allow time to look for parking.

I have been to Turkey a lot and the food at this restaurant was bland and overpriced.....service is good and waiting on staff friendly. It was also a hot night and restaurant was sniffling....no air cond or fans.....not a great experience.

I enjoyed the lamb kofta starter but the salmon filo not so good. Food is much better in the restaurant.

Food was ordered at 7:30 and didn’t arrive till 9:10. Upon arrival food was cold and in parts over cooked, to make it worse the price has gone up! We rang asking to cancel the order and was told this wouldn’t be possible as it was out for delivery, this was after the initial delivery time frame for delivery.

Expensive compared to previous visits. Lamb chops used to be pure meat. Very very grizzly and expensive. Used to be able to visit a couple times month - not now

Absolutely Awful Service. Ordered food, waited an hour, rang and was told the delivery driver was already delivering food and that my food would be made and it would take 10-15 minutes. I then got a email from Just Eat to say that my order was cancelled. I called the restaurant, who were rude and could not care less and was told that there was 'no driver'. Lol. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered food on a Wednesday night, no food came after over an hour so I called to ask where the food was. Got told ‘we are busy, will make in 10/15 minutes’ Absolutely abysmal. We are regular customers, (order at least twice a month) who will not be returning. The last few orders have took a while and we were giving it one last chance, this is the final straw. You have lost good customers, even a call to explain the food was going to be delayed would have been appreciated.

I visited Eton Place today , a place I frequently visit, and once again, it did not disappoint. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. However, on this particular visit, something out of the ordinary occurred, making it a truly remarkable experience. Amidst enjoying my meal, I noticed an elderly lady at a nearby table who suddenly fell ill. It was an unsettling moment for everyone present, as her distress was evident. However, what truly stood out was the incredible response from the staff, especially a young lady who identified herself as a medic. This young lady immediately sprang into action, displaying an impressive level of professionalism, calmness, and genuine concern for the elderly lady. Her expertise and experience in medical matters were apparent as she attended to the lady's needs. What struck me the most was her ability to remain composed and reassuring, even in such a stressful situation. Her confident and soothing demeanor helped ease the elderly lady's distress, offering her comfort and reassurance throughout. Witnessing this display of kindness was truly inspiring. The entire staff at Eton Place should be commended for their swift response , a lady from the kitchen also came to check the women was okay. The exceptional care extended to the elderly lady went above and beyond what one would typically expect from a restaurant. By the end of my meal, I felt compelled to express my gratitude to the young lady for her exceptional service. I thanked her personally and praised her for her incredible professionalism, her ability to stay calm under pressure, and the compassion she showed towards the lady was just incredible. Need more people like her in the world .

We went in a party of five and we got excellent fresh food cooked very well and excellent service this evening. Very friendly atmosphere.

Having visited eton place on multiple occasions, I must admit that my overall experience has left me feeling disappointed. The lack of attentiveness from the staff, particularly a gentleman who appeared to be working there. Regardless of the restaurant's relatively quiet state, it was challenging to capture his attention, resulting in long waiting times . At one point he vanished . Have they got new staff? Additionally, the quality of the food failed to meet my expectations. While taste is subjective, I found the dishes to be rather average. What compounded my disappointment further was the pricing. The dishes were priced at a level that I felt was disproportionate to their quality and overall dining experience. Considering my experiences at Eton Place Restaurant, it is unlikely that I will be returning in the future.

Such high quality food, tastes amazing, and always very hot when it arrives. Side of Chips are always crispy not soggy. Marinated meats are delicious, very tasty rice, and the Caesar salad will surprise you _ with generous chicken and portion size and great dressing. I want to try everything on the menu!

We went after a recommendation so anticipated a good experience. We were the only people there and couldn’t get the attention of staff unfortunately. The food was average . £65 for a lunch isn’t cheap so we won’t be returning .

Rice had no flavour it was nice but found the rice to bland wouldn’t say it’s worth the money either bit small for the price
