Olive Tree Allerton in Liverpool

Terrible food. I ordered a selection of take away bits. Absolutely lacking any flavour whatsoever. Souvlaki had tiny cubes of chicken. The only decent thing was the salad. It’s a shame because the restaurant is really nice and staff member was nice, but the food needs looking at.

10/10 recommend. Service was outstanding and everyone’s food was amazing - had a selection of 9 tapas between 4 of us and a Greek salad and every dish was beautiful. The cocktails (pornstar martini) was also amazing!

What a lovely place, the place is gorgeous clean and welcoming, the staff are so friendly and attentive, The menu has plenty of choice and fresh produce. The food was delicious served hot and served with a smile👍🏻VFM too. I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely place, il deffo return 100%,well done olive tree liverpool👍🏻

Do not use just eat for any deliveries from this restaurant as was charged £60 for food I never received and getting no refund absolutely disgraceful behaviour from both parties.a shame as I've had deliveries from here before using deliveroo with no problem at all

Es un restaurante acogedor, y bien equipado, con una sensación muy relajada, cómoda. El propietario y su personal son tan amables y hospitalarios, que nada es ningún problema para ellos. Para las personas que disfrutan del pescado, puedo recomendar de corazón el filete de atún - es boca deliciosa. De hecho, todo nuestro gran grupo disfrutó de sus propios platos y bebidas. Puedo recomendar de todo corazón el olivo como un lugar encantador para disfrutar de una excelente comida y servicio. ¡Imperdible!

We are in Liverpool for a gig and wanted somewhere to eat out of the city centre. We both lived close to Allerton many years ago so thought we would give it a go for old time sakes. We picked this place at random. This is a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing little restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. I had the Tavuk Sate, my wife had the Risotto. Both were awesome. Hot, full of flavour and superb portions. My wife had a dessert which went down a treat. Add a couple of soft drinks and a coffee, we got change out of £60 including service charge!!! Can't wait to go back and try something else!

Qué lugar tan pequeño. Deliciosa comida y un ambiente relajante encantador. Fuimos muy bienvenidos por Lisa encantadora que era solo una alegría saber. Muy recomendable.

So I booked out the whole of upstairs for my 40th birthday on 30/10/2024 for 30 people. And what can I say, from start to finish the staff we so friendly, accommodating and efficient. So we will start with the food. The menu has a choice for all. From nibbles to dessert the menu was very mutual. The food was amazing. One of my favourite the bread board a a nibble to eat alone or share between a few the ranges of warm bread and sides I delicious. I also has the starters of prawns, garlic mushrooms and calamari (which I did share) with my sister were super morish I am literally watering at the mouth writing this review. Then into the mains. My choice was lamb chops but we had a wide variety from the menu including tagliatelle to mixed grill and every single bite was simply something else. I would recommend this venue from walk in diners to large bookings we cannot fault the staff, accommodation, service or food. Thank you for making my 40th so special with all my family who travelled from the depths of Wales and beyond to be there. Thank you again xxxxxx

We were so pleased to find this little gem. The surrounding we immediately inviting and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We shared the mixed meze platter which was really delicious and plentiful and great value for money. We will definitely visit again next time we visit Liverpool. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent Turkish and Mediterranean food in a pleasant and relaxing environment. They do takeaway too. Portion sizes are generous and value for money cannot be faulted.

A huge thank you to Salihideen and his team for hosting our networking event in the upstairs area. We come here regularly but this was the first time we had a larger event of just under 25 people, and everything went to plan. The food was great, service fantastic, clean up quick in between meals and waiting staff always helpful. Thanks again 😄

Lovely Sunday lunch with family. Food and service was excellent and this made for a most enjoyable get together!

We decided to head to Alerton to look for somewhere for a late lunch and stumbled on this lovely little place. It wasn't particularly busy as was early afternoon. We walked in and was made to feel so welcome by Lisa who looked after us with such friendliness it was almost like we had all met before. Her way with customers is something you do not experience often these days. She was an incredible host and looked after us all throughout the meal. The food was incredible we shared the meze and a couple of salads all was delicious and we had a couple of cocktails which were also superb! Recommend the long island! The decor is lovely and the vibe was just what we needed after a. Stressful previous day and night. Thank you so much to all the staff especially Lisa we highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

The family went for a meal here the staff dare very friendly and polite and the food is amazing I went for the kalamari freshly cooked and nice and crispy one of the best I have had in a while Followed by chilli prawns another great choice The camebere cheese was delicious Well worth a visit

The Olive Tree is the nicest restaurant I’ve been to on Allerton Road. The friendly serving staff and gorgeous food meant we had a really lovely night out there.

We visited Olive Tree on a Saturday night and it was a lovely experience . The food was delicious and the restaurant service was friendly and very professional, especially our table’s waitress, Lisa. We would definitely return again in the future.

Excellent gluten free options. Great range of pasta dishes and the chef signature dishes are superb. Highly recommend the Beef Milano.

The only shame is that 1 item was missing. I phoned the restaurant and they advised to request a refund via Just Eat, which I did. Very happy with everything else

Where do I start? What a beautiful meal from start to finish. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely waitress who showed us to our table. We then had a beautiful menu to pick from and a huge range of drinks. There is definitely something for everyone, and I highly recommend the gamborini starter 👌🏼 We will definitely be back for more delicious food and friendly service.

The Olive Tree came to our rescue at short notice after a booking we had with visiting friends was unexpectedly unavailable!!! The food was excellent, the staff were lovely and friendly and we will definitely come back again - but next time as a first choice!! Wonderful and highly recommended 👍 Lisa was a joy 🤩

I ordered a mixed mezze between 2 it was really delicious, The falafel had so much flavor. Would definitely recommend. really good portion sizes. Delivery was on time. This was my first time ordering from here but will definitely order again.

Just returned from the Olive Tree and cannot recommend highly enough. The 3 of us shared a mixed meze platter and it was perfect! The food exceedingly fresh and tasty. Service was superb. I will definitely return.

This place is a real Gem, visited for our first time tonight and loved it. The staff where friendly, food was lovely, and the atmosphere was great. We even got free drinks, they went over and above, and the extra mile to make our evening very enjoyable.

We hired the upstairs for a baby shower on the weekend and I could not recommend the venue and staff enough! Food was absolutely delicious and catered to what we needed (GF), Seb was amazing, kind and so helpful throughout the entire process! Will definitely book back for another special occasion

Had a lovely family meal here last night with cocktails to celebrate some good news. Food was delicious, very fresh and cooked to perfection. Great vegetarian options full of flavour. Good choice of classic cocktails mixed very well. Service with a genuine smile and very warm welcome on a cold evening. 100% recommend this place, will be returning.

Just home after a lovely meal. Food was beautiful. Full of flavour, generous portions and excellent service. Very welcoming restaurant. Mixed Grill would be a personal recommendation. The lamb was perfectly cooked and favourite on my plate. Will definitely be returning. Starter, main and dessert plus 2 drinks came in around £50. Happy with that for the quality.

it's the same restaurant, menu, staff, owners and cheap cold food. don't waste your time or risk your health. they don't follow health and safety guidelines so I don't trust them.
