Great tapas, amazing spicy prawns and ribs. Every fish was tasty. Great service and good views of city life.

Stopped in for lunch. Food was excellent and enjoyed the 3 tapas and a drink for £20 offer. I had rustic bread (delicious garlic mayo), gambas pil pil and mini chorizo sausages. All the food was nice and the glass of the house red was of good quality. Service was great. Would highly recommend a small independent business rather than the chains near by.

Spanish food restaurant in Liverpool, in the form of tapas. We tried several dishes, including calamari, croquetas, garlic bread, paella and churros, they were all very good! The service is great, they are fast and friendly. The environment is pleasant but the bathroom is in the basement, I believe it is not accessible for wheelchair users. Thanks!

Came here for dinner the other night. The food was 11/10 but the service was rather poor. At least 3 employees parked themselves at the bar and talked to the working employees the entire time we were there (2+ hours). All seemed to be in their early 20s or late teens so that makes sense, but it literally kept us from ordering more rounds of both tapas and drinks cause the servers just never came over. I don't want to see a bunch of employees laughing with each other at the bar in their uniforms while I'm trying to get my next round in. Amazing food though!

We visited on Friday 27th of September on the recommendation of a friend. We ordered the Hummus and also we ordered the Chicken & Chorizo paella, Homemade Meatballs & crispy Chicken thighs. The food was delicious and very tasty. For dessert we shared the Stuffed Churros, the chocolate sauce was delicious. I would definitely recommend So Salsa and the next time we are in Liverpool city centre we will definitely be returning 😀😀

4th restaurant our party of 6 had tried on the street and they had a table ready for us within minutes.Portions for tapas are large so we really could have had 1 1/2 each instead of 2 .Food was very tasty and quality . Staff got us served quickly and very attentive .Would recommend and return .

Booked this place for our Daughters 18th via a recommendation, we where not disappointed at all, the food is outstanding and the service was great, nothing too much trouble from the staff, thank you and we will most definitely be back

So Salsa is a great tapas restaurant. The sangria is awesome. We were seated at the bar and it was fun to talk to the bartenders and watching the kitchen action.

Booked for a graduation The girls face who took our food order was tripping her up I’m guesssing she was a manager of some sort but made us feel like she just didn’t want to be there I’m confused all the good reviews on here because food was terrible tables left with plates overcrowded had to ask staff a few times to empty table Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend

Nice food but service was so slow, we waited so long for our last dishes that we gave up waiting for them and cancelled them. Would give it another go just hoping the service is better for our next visit.

Really lovely but not an authentic tapas. Gambas pil pil not as good as other tapas restaurants. No napkin or fresh finger wipes which should have been there, had to ask for these. Bit disappointed with service but food really tasty even if not authentic. Worth a visit

We three mates had not booked but they found us a table, place buzzing indoors and outside. Lovely staff, smiley, friendly and efficient. GORGEOUS dishes, we shared and enjoyed prawn pil pil, amazing hummus with warm flatbread, chicken buttered thighs in fab sauce, lovely bread and decent house wines...what's not to love 😊

Food was absolutely fantastic i cant fault it. I would like to return purely for that but the service needs massive improvement. We were the only people in the restuarant for a good 40 minutes. Drink order was wrong. Had to ask for our order to be taken as staff were just fully immersed with talking amongst themselves and sitting on their phones. Found it quite bizarre. If the service could improve i would recommend it to everyone

Unreal tapas, highly recommend!

Recently traveled from the US here wanting to try a dish that I’m familiar with so I ordered a salmon, upon leaving the restaurant only 2 hrs later getting back home I gotten a stomach bug that made me get rushed to the ER for throwing up consistently non-stop 15-20 times!! I felt nauseous and got extremely disappointed & disgusted. I highly do not recommend this place. Possibly could’ve had gotten salmonella.

Having been to this restaurant a few times I attempted to introduce my husband to this. He was reluctant at first but asked him to trust me on this. He’s fussy and a big eater! It did not let me down. Big shout out to Jack who was brilliant with his service and also to Charlotte who served our food. Food as always amazing. Highly recommended. Please bring this down south!

Good atmosphere and service but food was very underwhelming. Not worth the price for tiny portions (even for tapas), with frozen fries and food that seemed reheated.

Ok so I forgot to take pictures of the food on basis that well…. I was a little mesmerised by the food as soon as it was placed on the table. The staff were so nice friendly and attentive - didn’t rush us and made us very welcome. The place was buzzing and such a fun but cosy atmosphere for any occasion. Food was sensational, wine equally good and a fun night was had by all. Thank you - this will now be my go to easy and chilled after work mid week place as well as my fun weekend vibe meal. Good prices also 👍 special shout outs for the meatballs, scallops and cauliflower dishes and we had a vegetarian with us and this was easily catered for 😎

Food was tasty but the service was poor, sent one item ( garlic mushrooms) back because they were not hot to be redone , never seen them again! Did not get asked if the food was ok or if there was anything else that we required. If some of the staff spent more time on the tables than chit chatting to the chefs or on mobiles then we may have had a better experience.

Omg what a place. The tapas here are unreal. All freshly cooked to order and resnable in price. From the time we walked into the doors, the staff were so friendly and nice. We could sit anywhere as it was not that busy. But it did get busy after wr arrived. The menu had a wide range of tapas from meats to fish to veggie dishes. We ordered a few dishes that included croquettss, loaded fries, chorizo, spring rolls, and my favourite, the crispy chicken. The dishes came out as they were getting cooked, so you were not overloaded with food at the one time. We thought we could order more, but we were stuffed. If I found more room, I would have ordered more. I would recommend this place for a lovely date night or even just good food and fantastic service. Can't wait to go back again.

I had the most exquisite meal here . The tapas was full of so many authentic flavours and was also great value for money. We were served by Alex and Emily who gave us exceptional service and were incredibly accommodating,catering to our every need.

Food was great, got a deal for 6 Tapas Dishes that were all amazing for £24. Plenty of food and all great quality. Our waitress, Grace, was lovely and helpful and gave us some great tips for other places to visit during our weekend away. Would definitely go back!

Really enjoyed the So Salsa experience. Very hard working staff ensuring that the great quality food is served in an efficient and professional manner. Seven very interesting dishes, including a must try Cauliflower dish, glass of wine and a beer just over £50 and worth it!!

Food was nice. Service was awful. Often left us for 15-20 minutes at a time, not taking plates away. Not once asked if everything was alright or to take drink orders. Had to twice ask for the bill as first time they forgot and the restaurant was not even busy. Staff just sat around on their phones at the bar, swearing amongst themselves.

Only place we could get a reservation and now i know why. £10.50 for a medium glass of red wine. This is a tapas bar, not a high end restaurant. I will never return , I refuse to be ripped off.

First visit here and will return. Lively atmosphere with great tapas. Not necessarily authenticically Spanish but tasty and good portion sizes. We had 4 to share and chose 1 each for ourselves. Good range of veggie options. Had a carafe of sangria and it was stronger than we expected! Dined as a couple but I would certainly bring friends here.

We came here just shortly before getting on the boat. We were shown to our table and provided with menus and drinks- great start! However my aunty did have to get up and ask for our order to be taken. The lad who was waiting on didn’t seem to have any awareness of the tables at all. While we were served our meals, the table next to us hadn’t had their order taken and they’d been sat there for 25 minutes, so left without any food. We then noticed that two waiting on staff were sat eating a meal, and as we were finishing our meal, three of them were sat there, one on their phone, whilst the lady ran around doing everything. It was really frustrating as the drinks and food were so good, but it has to be on par with the service which unfortunately just wasn’t satisfactory. This isn’t anything against said lady, she was doing her best and I know exactly how she feels. Maybe the 3 lads could do with a stern talking to and a bit of customer service training- but they weren’t even trying. I would come back here, with the hope that the lads improve. It’s bad management letting all 3 eat at the same time, when even though it wasn’t overly busy, there clearly needed to be more than one pair of hands at work. Hope to give 5 stars across the board next time 🥰

Absolutely amazing place! Me and my partner visited Liverpool for 2 nights and we gave this place a try on our last night and we loved it! The staff were all really nice and helpful. The menu isn’t massive but everything on it sounds so nice that it was hard to not order one of everything! 6 plates was the perfect amount for 2 people. I would highly recommend the halloumi sticks!!! The best halloumi I have ever tasted! I would also love to know where they get their olives as they were very nice as well!

had dinner on Friday evening, the only tapas that was decent was the garlic bread. Loaded fries were luke warm, meet was tasteless. Chicken Chorizo paella was bland to say the least. Wont be going back

Two of us came as walk ins and got a table and so glad we came. We’ve had tapas on 3 occasions recently and this was by far the best! We got 6 dishes: garlic bread and cheese, fillet steak, S&P chicken pancakes, bbq ribs, chorizo sausages & patatas bravas. Some dishes small & some loaded so all in all, 6 was enough for us. Food was absolutely fabulous and so was the service by all who served us especially Grace. We will definitely be returning! You won’t be disappointed eating here!

Booked a table for my partners birthday 12th August.gave us a table by the door with high stools asked to be seated elsewhere.the waitress asked the manager. She came over to us and said in a very abrupt manner we would have to wait take a seat at the bar. She came over to us about 10 min later again in a abrupt manner did we want to order drinks.and pointed to the drinks menu.the waitress ushered us to a table. I asked for the pitta bread and olives starter. The manager banged it down on the table. And Walked away. I could not see any houmous on the bread asked the waitress. She pointed to a slather of houmous on the bread.very disappointed. There was not a pot.i told her it was not acceptable. She said she would ask the manager to come over to us.told her not to bother she was also the issue .I asked for her name was told it was Alex. Her attitude and customer service was shocking. You could tell by her attitude and mannerisms she was annoyed with us.for asking to be seated elsewhere. Made the whole experience very uncomfortable. We walked out on a Saturday night asking other restaurants for a table they were all fully booked. Shocking !!!!!

Had the most amazing time here earlier this week. The waitress Rachel was lovely, really personable and chatty, nothing was too much trouble. Actually she made the visit! Definitely be back again - food and service 10/10!
