Olive Tree in Liverpool

Very tasty tapas and good portion size. Choose either 2 or 3 tapas for a good meal. Service very efficient and friendly. We spent a very pleasant Saturday afternoon at the Olive Tree.

Esta fue la primera vez que visitamos el Olivo, pero sin duda no será la última. El menú es variado a través de una mezcla de italiano, griego y turco. Fui con mi esposa y cuñada y todos tuvimos comidas encantadoras. El personal era muy amable y el servicio era excelente. Los tres estábamos de acuerdo en que habíamos encontrado una nueva joya local. Muy recomendable.

Un excelente hallazgo para una comida con mi esposa. Todos nuestros cursos eran tan buenos con ingredientes frescos y sabrosas opciones también una mención especial para los cócteles. El personal fue amable, atento y eficiente, gracias a todos

Vinimos para una comida a mitad de semana con amigos y tuvimos un tiempo encantador. El menú está bien elaborado para ofrecer lo mejor de la cocina mediterránea y cada plato era absolutamente delicioso (puedo recomendar la moussaka vegetal). Soy vegetación y tuve muchas opciones en todos los cursos. Nuestro camarero, Paolo, era absolutamente encantador y nos cuidó brillantemente toda la noche. Sin duda recomendaría y volveremos!

Absolutamente maravilloso lugar, la comida era deliciosa y un gran servicio! Un gran hallazgo. Un miembro del personal en particular (disculpas ya que no entendí su nombre, una dama rubia) fue tan amable, paciente y amable haciendo un esfuerzo adicional para algunos clientes con autismo / addhd. Ella realmente nos hizo sonreír y era muy conmovedor. Gracias por ser tan acogedor e inclusivo.

Went there this evening for the first time, the place is honestly one of the friendliest and nicest places I have been in a while. The food was excellent, fresh and hot. They even gave us free drinks, we had three courses and the price was excellent. We will definitely return again and recomend others try it.

Lovely little place. Food was really good & staff were great. It was a monday night that we were there so it wasnt full but it had a lovely feel to the place. We will definitely be going back again soon.

I visited this restaurant a few times over the last 3 years & loved the food when it first opened; it changed hands & food continued to be good with increased prices. My most recent visit was a mixed experience. They told me it had changed hands again. The service was good but I felt let down by the food. I had bigged up the meze but it was disappointing when it arrived. Smaller portions, less selection and felt like the bread was there to make the dish look bigger. All this at a much increased price. Returning to decent portion sizes, providing a better selection on the meze and providing transparent billing will see your customers returning 👍🏽

2nd visit here, 1st time with family and came back again with friends. great service, great food, good portions and well priced we all thought. Will come again and recommend.

Cannot fault the surroundings lovely and cosy. The food was excellent even though my starter I thought the sourdough was burnt. Only thing that stops me giving a 5 is the service could of been better. Once the mains were served we had to ask for replacement cutlery which in my mind you shouldn't have to do this should of been done after the starters had been taken away. The bottle of red wine, the top was put back on!! Let it breath. In short either some service came down to a lack of experience or I felt that there really wasn't a concentration there it lacked focus on what was happening. Can't even be blamed on it being busy!

Visted as a group of 5. Food was delicious, great portions We had specific requests of no black pepper or chilli which was not added to one of our parties meal Price was reasonable Staff attentive and asked if we needed anything Cosy, and friendly would recommended and return

So came here to try it out for the first time as local. Food was nice but something was a bit off with the service. When it came to the bill it all took a tumble for the worst. Weird Faulty Towers type manager brings the bill over with the card machine at the same time but does not actually allow me or my other half to see the itemized bill. I worked in hospitality for years and actually ran a restaurant up the road from here so already know this is illegal. We did not even get to see how much the bill actually was or what was on the bill but he told us the amount, So we paid plus are usual minimum 10% tip because the food was nice. Turns out we were overcharged on our bill by approximately £8 minus the tip. So my question is do they rip every new customer off like this to pocket the difference to make some extra cash. The food was decent and the staff were nice enough but this kind of pushy and sketchy billing is basically theft and a huge trading standards issue and the premises will be reported to trading standards literally after this review. Poor management , ripping off customers and an obvious trading standards issue.

Frankly the worst restaurant I’ve ever experienced, started out well, nicely decorated and air conditioned. Slalomed down hill so fast it should win a medal for sheer incompetence. If cold reheated food (that you have to wait 20 minutes after your family have finished eating for) a bill that has EXTRA items on (not even a discount for the cold food an actual extra drink) and a manager that would feel more at home in faulty towers is your thing, then sure book yourself in!

Enjoyed a pleasant meal here and was very well looked after by Denise even though they confused steak and tuna steak. When the error was realised they quickly corrected the mistake and we're generous in compensating us with some free drinks and desserts.

Tried hee with friends and liked it that much, we went back again. Great food, great value and great service.

Me and my wife recently visited Olive Tree for the first time. We received the menu which has some dishes which we recognised, and then some new ones too. The food which we ordered was brought to our table in a good timely manner despite the venue being busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our grilled dishes, which were full of complimenting and delicious flavours. Our overall bill seemed below average for what we received- which is a boon in these days. We shall be back and likely to try their exciting breakfast menu, which looks mouth-watering! Highly recommended place to eat as a couple or a group!!!

Thought I was going to the Istanbul restaurant but it has obviously changed hands since February. Same set up - new menu and staff, but was a great little find. Food was lovely, enough choice on the menu for my Daughter to have a steak...

obviously half the food must not be fresh with such a big menu so this is just a processed fast food restaurant. this place would be better as a takeaway restaurant now they are changing the name but keeping the same old menu, same dirty...
