Trunk Lounge in Liverpool

My partner and I have been here many times and it's laid back environment, great cocktails, tapas and value for money was well worth coming back every time. I decided to choose Trunk Lounge for my graduation meal as I knew the food would not disappoint. I never understand why the restaurant is never at full capacity!! We were slightly late to our reservation but it wasn't a problem, the table was awaiting us. I was given a complimentary glass of prosecco which was a lovely touch. The lady with blonde hair (who I think was the manager) served us and she was fantastic- especially with my grandparents who didn't understand tapas!! We had a lovely time and the food and drinks arrived promptly along with plates being cleared. The food was grand- from vegetarian dishes to meat dishes. They were so accommodating and it was a great evening and value for money! Will certainly see you soon, thank you for hosting a memorable evening!

Our first visit and won’t be the last! The staff were so friendly and the food was fantastic. Special thanks to Lily, Elliott and Mark who made our daughter’s graduation so special with brilliant service.

Myself & my sister visited here before an event in the Philharmonic Hall. Lots to choose from on the menu & decided on tapas. It was also 3 4 2 Tuesday which was great. We were spoilt for choice, every dish was so delicious, especially the belly pork! Lovely staff & great service. Highly recommend a visit.

This restaurant has lovely character, a fantastic menu and very friendly staff. It is my favourite brunch spot to visit any time I’m in Liverpool and the staff always make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nothing was too much trouble at Trunk. We managed to get breakfast right on the dot of it stopping, service was warm and friendly. When I couldn’t get a taxi to Anfield for the game, the manager gave me a lift there! Kindness of a stranger made my day even better. Still buzzing. Thank you :)))

After a hen night , 13 of us called for breakfast on a Sunday morning without booking. We were welcomed as we arrived and tables were quickly arranged to seat us together . Every staff member was friendly and helpful , the hen was given a complimentary prosecco with her breakfast too! We all had cooked breakfasts, we didn’t wait long for our food and it was lovely . Could not fault a thing! Thankyou for helping us all feel a little more human 😊

Booked a table for 15 people, and each one of us was impressed. So welcoming and accommodating to each individual throughout. They created a perfect balance between professional and friendly especially this one girl with blue hair. The food was amazing and such variety everyone was catered for. One of the best restaurants in Liverpool and each and everyone of us will be returning.

How lucky we were to find this place and receive such a warm friendly welcome. Apart from wanting a coffee fairly early in the morning we were looking for somewhere to plug in our ipad and watch the graduation ceremony at the Cathedral. Unfortunately I didn't get the young ladys name but what a welcome she gave us and how lovely to receive such fantastic customer service. Everything having been so good we decided to return for more drinks and something to eat following the graduation and received yet another warm welcome and a free glass of bubbly for the lucky graduate. Great coffee, food and service so we shall certainly be returning on our next visit to Liverpool.

Had a fabulous evening here. Staff were really friendly, service really good, attentive but not OTT, and the food was lovely and really good value. We had 6 tapas off the main menu between 2 and were absolutely stuffed, it was really tasty and good quality food. Cocktails were BOGOF Which was a bonus, and because it was my birthday we got treated to a free glass of bubbly and my desert had a candle in! Would definitely return next time I’m in Liverpool.

I heartily recommend eating at Trunk, following our excellent experience. The staff are great - extremely friendly and welcoming and very efficient with the service. The food was great. Our favourite dishes were the chicken skewers, lamb kofta and the sea bass - the imam baylidi which accompanied it (also available as a dish in its own right) was lovely. Good choice of drinks and desserts here as well. We will be back.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, in a lovely area. Food was authentic, delicious and a wide variety of tapas was on offer. We were served by Megan R - Amazing service with a big smile, couldn't have done enough to make our experience more perfect. Accompanied Lily and Darcy, the team at Trunk are so welcoming and happy, it's clear they are passionate about the service they provide. Try out the cocktails too! Definitely coming back!

Went for dinner this evening with two of my teenage children. What a delight, lovely welcome, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff. We all really enjoyed every dish that we chose and felt it was great value for money. We will be returning soon!
