Very busy fast turnover and the food is ok nothing really to shout about but the venue is sentrul and handy for a meeting point

We had an amazing full English breakfast.

Came here Grand National week, it was heaving but we got served promptly and efficiently. Had a cold mezze plate, which was great to share with a bottle of house white. The breakfasts coming out looked good too. Would come here again.

Family to me to Shiraz for a birthday meal, lovely clean friendly staff , service was brilliant didn't wait long for the food to arrive, very reasonable priced. Two floors lots of tables catering for small and large party's. Definitely going back in the future.

This must be the best English breakfast I've ever been served. Huge size, excellent raw materials, and very good service. The place itself is rustique with a cozy feel to it. Children friendly. Recommend.

This place has both persian kabob and burger, pizza sandwich. I was amazed by the variety of food options. I will go back to tey the pizza. The spicy chicken thigh was really good. It comes with a side of marinara sauce that was really good.

We came with our grandparents for dinner had a lovely time. Vaso provided an amazing service always attentive and recommended things. Definitely recommend this place

We took Mum here for Mother's Day dinner. Unfortunately the food order was wrong as we needed gluten free and the meals had bread in them. We were then served strawberry daqueris instead of the strawberry Margherita we ordered. The staff questioned this twice but we had no reason to "lie" about our drinks!? Just very disappointed as we had told Mum how good it was previously.

Food ok customer service shocking

4 of us Went here about 6pm Saturday night, Service was as very slow, after about 45mins was asked to move tables, which was a joke, Staff was just robots under chef instructions, Won’t b back in a hurry, need a word with themselves!

I've walked past this place a few times, as it's in a prime spot in the city opposite the Adelphi and Lewis's. So thought we would try it out for lunch. The restaurant has a tree in the centre with overhanging branches and gives you the feeling that you're eating in a garden. The menu was mainly pizza, burgers and kebabs. I chose Chicken curry, which came with rice, chips and salad. It was slightly expensive but you do get very large portions, there was so much that I couldn't eat it all. Not a great range of beers, but it's mainly a restaurant after all. Staff were very helpful and service was very quick.

Always friendly, excellent service, especially from Kirsten the Irish lady (probably spelt her name wrong) and Josh. Food excellent quality and great value for money my go to place. 5 stars .

Beautifully decorated, warm welcome. Food fresh and hot but unfortunately way to much for me. I'd never eat rice, chips and salad. It'll would be nice to have the options save the waste. Would recommend and if we're ever in Liverpool again it'll be the first place I'd go.

good hearty filling meal, portions are very generous and filling as most of Shiraz’s meals are carb dense. service was lovely too, staff were very patient and well mannered.

I called earlier in the day to arrange a last minute book for 9 people and they did a great job of making room for us. The staff were fantastic and highly attentive whilst the food was brilliant!

the king prawn was so chewy and tasteless the Ali Nazdik was not cooked properly and sauce was runny and not good. very flavorless. the service was bad as well

Celebrating family birthday, party of 14. Staff looked after us brilliantly. Food was excellent. Not the first time we have celebrated at Shiraz and won't be the last.

Loved this place. The food was tasty, and you can watch it being cooked over the hot coals. Portion sizes are generous, too. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, and cocktails were great, too. The menu price is very reasonable, especially when you consider you are in the city. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and a little quirky. I love it.

IT’S MORE RELAXED EATING AT MCDONALDS. The general feel of this place is that they want to get you in and out as quickly as possible. You’ve hardly been seated and given the menu and they are hurrying you up to order drinks then food. To be fair the food was good but this operates like a fast food joint, it’s aim to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Not something we experienced in other Liverpool restaurants we used. Would I recommend it? Not if you want a relaxing meal out. They were trying to make us pay our bill 15 minutes before our allocated 1.5 hr dinner slot was over. You’re just a number. There are so many places to eat in Liverpool, my advice, don’t choose here.

Amazing food. Had the small breakfast. Was huge. Bacon egg sausage beans tomato mushrooms hash brown and toast. Mug of hot tea. Service was prompt. Place was buzzing. Lovely atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. I've also dined here of an evening. They do great kebabs. Definitely recommend.

This is NOT a Persian/Iranian restaurant. Although, the place is full of the symbols of ancient Persian Empire, they serve Turkish food (which is well known in their local market). By the way, ambience, service and food r really good.

Ummmm so don’t eat here….I’ve never met people who could manage to mess up pizza until now. No sauce, liquidy cheese…also very runny hummus…would not reccomend

Excellent eating out favourite when in Liverpool along with sister restaurant Shiraz. On this visit to Liverpool took along 7 friends, each one of them loved the restaurant, food, and friendly, attentive staff.

Great food, good portions, and a friendly atmosphere.

We shared a meat calzone and a prawn in garlic. Totally disappointed. The calzone was minus the chicken and ham. Plenty of pepperoni though. It was cold in parts. The prawns all 6 of them were overloaded with chilli. The service for drinks was sadly lacking.

Very noisy inside and out but food was nice a tad expensive but a nice setting may try again on a less busy day. Would like to see smaller options for elderly and infirm.

I’m giving a mid rating because it is advertised as a Persian restaurant, with Persian traditional decor and the name is SHIRAZ - the food is not Persian. Please make up your mind regarding the menu, because when you write Adana (Turkish) Kebab and next to it in brackets (Koobideh), it doesn’t make sense. Those are two different dishes. I asked the staff - is it Adana or Koobideh? They said it’s a mix of Turkish and Persian… what? This is the first time I am seeing a Persian ‘fusion’ restaurant. For the price, the food is very average. Nothing very special, but it tasted good. Portions are quite small. £16.50 for a tiny “kebab” and a spoonful of rice is crazy, and I’m from London.

Fantastic food and cocktails, with lovely friendly staff. Be warned the food is very filling though, don't be tempted to over order! We visited for an early dinner but soon filled up very quickly. Really good decor and ambience too. I had the lamb kebab and the aubergine tarator and I highly recommend both. Their 'signature sauce' that comes with the dishes is superb!

We had an amazing dining experience at this authentic Iranian restaurant! The flavors in every dish were incredible, and the attention was impressive. The char-grilled lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the meat platter a true highlight of the meal. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, complementing the lamb beautifully. The service was warm and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout the meal. I highly recommend trying their traditional dishes, like the kebabs and hummus platter, which were outstanding. I can't wait to come back and savor more of this delicious cuisine!

Great restaurant right in the center of Liverpool. The food takes me back to the hills of Turkey with authentic, delicious food.

The food and service by the waiters was very good, as was the quiet atmosphere, you can eat and talk if you are accompanied or with your family. My only note was that I saw someone in the kitchen with a cigarette in hand, even though I couldn't see if it was on or off, it's something that makes me wonder since the kitchen is the place where magic happens
