Poor or no hospitality, the waiter asked us to leave after paying because he needed the table.

Popped in for a takeaway for my team and I after working late nearby. Was really impressed with the service and food. Flavours of the lamb and humous were well balanced and subtle and the portions also generous. It felt like being in Turkey, very authentic! Manager and lady who served us could not have been more accommodating despite being busy with lots of other diners. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely return. Garry

They don't bother to get back to you to confirm bookings made on their website, they rarely have the phone off ansamachine and they don't respond to voicemail messages left. I'd go elsewhere if you want to eat!

We were the only diners in the restaurant all evening so very little ambience. The food was bland to say the least. Starters ok but the main of prawns was far from inspiring-no flavour other than the raw garlic! So sorry as I am not a complainer but it was not good! Very disappointing!

So so bland. Everything looked nice but had zero flavour. The feta salad needed vinegar and salt and the feta almost tasted like goat cheese. No flavour. Chicken shawarma wrap - so pretty and no flavour. Supposedly there was coleslaw and garlic sauce but I couldn’t taste anything. Kefte was again attractive but tasting of nothing. And some sort of cocktail that was suspodoef to be a spicy margarita but tasted of alcoholic watered down limeaid. It was all entirely disappointing and then the bill came to £80 and we were truly convinced it is to be avoided at all costs.

Desde que entramos al restaurante, hasta que salimos, el servicio fue ejemplar. Nuestro pedido fue servido con prontitud. La comida era excelente y llena. Sin embargo, el precio no era extorsivo, sin duda no era demasiado caro, dado el estándar general durante toda nuestra comida. Queremos felicitar especialmente a nuestro camarero, Nazrul, por su amabilidad y hospitalidad.

Tuesday has a special 2 for 1 offer, which is just and extra £10 to the standard. Was worth every penny. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. It had a lovely casual atmosphere. The side dishes were plentiful, hot and cold choices that would suit vegetarians were available. Cocktails were quite procy from £10. However, they also offered tall draft beers from £7 which was good value. Gave the food 4 stars as some meats were a little on the salty side, but the majority of meat was absolutely amazing and I would go there again. After 7 p.m. parking around the corner was free and it was literally a 1 minute walk.

We had an amazing time at Al Khayma!! Food is excellent, staff goes the extra mile to ensure you have a good time! Rahima is fabulous and so is Saad!! Thank you to you all for an amazing night!!!

Lovely place for a drink and for lunch. Super relaxed menu, easy wine list, super friendly service. All at a reasonable price.

Thankfully this dumpster fire of a restaurant has closed, seemingly having the premises repossessed by the landlord, and we can only hope that it's replaced by something half decent.

Was looked after by Krish, great lad and single handedly managed the restaurant floor. Food was good, and great atmosphere!

Starters were good. Wine was good. Mains were good, but price-shock at bill time wasn’t. £145 for a steak that was good but not great, shared between 4, wasn’t a happy ending. We were told that the policy of the restaurant is “replace any steak which customers are unhappy about at the point of serving”… which is a strange way of measuring customer satisfaction, as you won’t know what you’re being charged until you see the bill. Nearly £800 for four diners (starters, 3 bottles of wine, turbot, a steak, side dishes)… £180+ per person didn’t feel like fair value. I won’t come again.
