The Garden At The Berkeley in City of London, Westminster

We have always looked forward to the outdoor dining options the Berkeley comes up with, Summer Garden a few years ago, Winter Huts, Beach Huts and this year is Il Giardino. We have never been disappointed by a meal at this location and this was no exception. We got seated at a lovely table in the corner and the service was excellent, giving us extra information about the menu and the options available. We had started a bottle of champagne in The Berkeley Bar prior to the meal and this eas effortlessly transferred to the restaurant. We would highly recommend the burratina, which was superb along with the lemon chilli baby chicken and wild sea bass, all cooked to perfection. It was a lovely meal, in nice outdoor setting where clearly a lot of thought and attention has gone into it. Service was faultless.

My friend and I stopped by this restaurant cause it seemed Italian- given the “Giardino” name. Once we sat, reading the menu we found out that 1) menu was not Italian at all 2) very limited menu with only few options available 3) their small plates are appetizer, the price is ridiculous expensive 4) if you’re done with your bottle of water they bring you a new one without even asking and they charge 7.50£ For a 700 ml Panna water We definitely do not recommend the place cause you’re gonna leave the restaurant more hungry that you were. NEVER EVER AGAIN only good side I have to admit: the offered a couple of glass of Prosecco to apologize for the slow service

Aprovechando al máximo un verano inglés que se desvanecía, decidimos comer afuera y afuera. Uso inteligente del espacio y genial ver un estilo antiguo de hotel de lujo alejándose de la rigidez y la formalidad. Muy sabrosa comida de estilo médico, pero cuestionaría los precios muy altos de los platos principales de carne / pescado. Injustificable, incluso para esta ubicación.

Mi esposa y yo disfrutamos mucho celebrando nuestro aniversario aquí. El personal y el servicio fueron excelentes. Nuestra camarera Viktoria brindó un servicio excelente. Ella hizo algunas recomendaciones excelentes que fueron bien recibidas. Para empezar disfrutamos de las deliciosas gambas y mezze con rábano. Para platos principales disfrutamos el bistec que estaba hecho a la perfección y el pollo estaba realmente delicioso. El cordero kofta era un poco soso pero afortunado teníamos la salsa chimichurri. Terminó la velada con un delicioso helado y una tarta de limón siciliano. En general, tuvimos una noche fantástica y sin duda volveremos. Toda la comida es halal, lo cual es genial. La temperatura se toma antes de entrar y las mesas están socialmente distanciadas. Todo el personal llevaba máscaras faciales.
