Popped in on a Monday evening as I love ramen, noticed the 20% off food during the quieter weekdays which was an added bonus. It was very quiet but the service and food was fantastic, nonetheless. I had a glass of water dropped off by the waiter within a literal minute of being sat down. The food was very fast coming out and was delicious. Highly recommend.

Good service but food quality was less than average. Sushi was Ok but chicken teriyaki was bad, most of it was plain rice, chicken was scarce and tasteless, and there was an evident lack of vegetables. Sad if you consider they charge £9 per Teriyaki dish. We won’t come back.

The name should be changed to Beijing or Manila from Sapporo. Food is not Japanese. It is a Filipino/Chinese take of Japanese food and to anyone who has had actual Japanese food it’s quite obvious. And in Japanese teppanyaki chef’s don’t try so hard to “entertain” people with bullshit circus acts. The act of cooking properly and so methodically is the act of entertainment. They only make polite conversation if the opportunity arises and don’t scream and shout. Overall this place is overpriced for what it is and food is crap. 1) The chef should google what tempura batter is and at least try to replicate it. 2) Japanese egg fried rice is subtle and eggs aren’t cooked till it’s brown. The fried rice here is Chinese / Filipino fried rice with eggs that are fried till brown and shit loads of soy sauce. 3) Miso soup is made with store bought miso soup paste and even then the taste is off. 4) Beef is not wagyu.
