Never get delivered and always pick up. awful delivery times

The food when we finally got it was great as it usually is but I stood in the restaurant waiting for collection for over an hour despite arriving at the suggested time. There was also an item missing from the order.

Ordered over 2 hours ago. Delivery was pushed back by an hour than original time. Called the restaurant multiple times no answer. Did not receive food

Great quick service food amazing

The sushi wasn't fresh and wasn't cut right, some was missing. Ever since delivery orders seem to be handled by a third party address, the quality has taken a massive fall off a cliff.

Many visits always good food, friendly service bit slow at busy times but cannot recommend enough to friends n family

I requested food at 5.35 wnd it turned up at 4.45

over 2 hours late for a 1 person meal, never been this late even on a Saturday.

The salad in our dishes was brown and clearly had gone off. Unfortunately it was still delivered to us in this state.

Food delish and warm - delivered early too

On arriival. Seemed to be a bit disorientated, Maybe due to the tables being full. As we ordered. Starters and main, for whatever reason, they brought the mains out first. Which felt strange. as we said, we would like our starters first. They seemed unimpressed.. Sushi and starters were what was expected. Really good, the mains, however, seemed as if they had been reheated. ( the original mains that had come out at first) seemed to be thrown in a microwave and reheated. We did question this as we had one mouthful and left it on the table. The reply was. It couldn't have been. Oh well. Shame, as had high expectations as had heard do many good things

Incredible food. Service could be slightly improved as a food item was forgotten but overall decent service. Furthermore, as it's quite a small restaurant it was a bit cramped but generally delightful design and incredibly polite owner. 1000% coming back. The food was to die for! Would love to see less 'western' foods like chips on the menu, and no Chu-hi or Shochu at all?

I appreciate a Friday night is busy but 45 minutes after estimated delivery time is beyond a joke.

Oiishis are usually very good at delivering on time but today was disappointing. After 2 phone calls food finnaly arrived 2 and a half hours later and at a sub par quality.

Second delivery in a row where I’ve had to call after 2.5/3hours waiting.Was told the manager would call the next day to give a refund &I made other meal arrangements. Food turned up at 11pm, and no refund or apology given. Really poor service.

Food is excellent but well over an hour late

Ordered at 1848, and told it was to arrive between 2005 and 2025. Just eat notification that it had been delivered at 2025. Still nothing at 2035. Phoned the restaurant and was told it was out for delivery. Phoned again at 2100 and was told they would investigate and phone back asap…. No phone call came. Food arrived at around 2120…. Stone cold. So disappointing as this is normally a good service but this was shocking. We normally use this restaurant for special occasions, but after this not sur

Food ordered at 18:30 for immediate delivery. The estimated delivery time was 19:45 - 20:00. Food arrived at 20:50 despite the just eat app saying delivered at 20:00

Ordered 2 hours ago, it said delivery would be 55 minutes. The delivery estimate then moved to later. Tried calling the restaurant several times, constantly busy. Asked about getting the order cancelled when I finally got through and the girl said they couldn’t from their end, she then went to check this and my call was ended before she returned. Next thing the app says the food is being delivered. Now saying it’s been delivered and still no sign of it, and no refund!

ordered at 6.30, food arrived at 9.20, over an hour late. wasn't worth the wait which is disappointing when oishii is normally a reliable option

Really love it here. Great selection on the menu, staff are lovely and we've enjoyed everything we have tried so far.

Bought as a treat. Katsu wasn’t good. Chicken was very tough and too well done. Everything else was lovely. Not sure where they’re delivering from? Says Hunter St but isn’t Hunter St on map?

Sushi was good, noodles tasted nice,beef no flavourand not tender, small portion for £17, chicken katsu was very dry chicken,salty,sauce ok, rice not good, waited a long time £71 order, I'd of been happier paying £45/50, overpriced for the quality of food

Have eaten in and taken away numerous times. Very fond of the restaurant and the cuisine. Recent takeaway experience was well below expectations. Ordered to collect, 30min wait turned into 50 which was OK as they were busy. Returned home to find order incomplete. Agreed to come drive back to collect missing item as delivery was inconvenient for both parties - this was frustrating but again these things happen. On arriving to collect my missing item, no offer for partial monetary refund provided (given inconvenience and fuel costs) nor any additional items as a gesture of goodwill. 20% off a potential future order was what was suggested. I declined as I didn't know if or when we'd be back and I wasn't in a position to further delay dinner with my family by waiting any longer for a discussion with the manager. Seperately, the constant 'cash only as our card machine is broken' gambit is wearing thin too. I'm happy to pay cash and support independent businesses but denying the customer the choice is down right inconvenient in this day and age. All in all, left disappointed and unlikely to return or continue to recommend to our friends and family - as we have done for several years. A more straightforward and customer focused response would've seen a far more positive outcome and no doubt in future custom.

Was very excited to try here tonight and what we tried was nice but the battered prawns were not deveined and also had shell on it which made me worried about the hygiene of the place and the standard of the kitchen, we noticed early into the meal which put us all off and meaning none of us continued to eat our over £100 dinner. very disappointed and we will not be back hopefully we do not get sick from this

This is one of the best restaurants on Just Eat so was disappointed when ordered £130 and it arrived over an hour late. Hot food was very cold. Tempura prawns inedible. It was however Xmas Eve and I will go back.

I expected it to be busy on Christmas eve but when it said delivery time just over an hour I thought it would be ok. Arrived 3hrs after ordering, burst teryaki sauce over EVERYTHING and lukewarm. Disappointed

A very good restaurant in EK village. We ordered loads and particularly enjoyed the salmon sashimi and the katsu curry. The dry sake we tried was also really good.

It was very busy on a Sunday night and I was not given a menu 15 minutes after I was seated, but the food tasted delicious, especially the volcano roll

Food never arrived, had to go order from somewhere else. Delivery service is terrible. I have been to this restaurant for a sit down meal a few time, service and food is always spot on! So don’t be put off by this review to visit Oiishi, but maybe don’t waste your night waiting on a delivery. Still not heard a word from the restaurant.

Food was excellent as usual and man on the phone was polite. However we placed the order at 5.30pm and did not receive it until 7.45pm. Just eat said it was due 6.45 then changed to between 6.40-7pm. They said the driver was out at least an hour before they were actually out, leaving us to think our food was arriving cold. I don’t want to leave a negative review as we always enjoy our food from Oiishi however the wait was much longer than usual and the info provided by justeat was inaccurate

First time trying tonight, everything was hot and tasted fresh, really good quality food with large portions, I recommend the chicken cha-Han

The decoration of the restaurant is unique and has a Japanese style. The ramen soup base is very rich and the barbecued pork is generous and admirable. The prawn teppanyaki also tastes good. Especially recommend the Beton package, It has dumplings, sushi, grilled chicken, rice, tempura, and comes with miso soup, which is a great deal. The service is considerate, courteous and friendly. Although it’s a 20-minute drive from Glasgow, But it is worth eating, and the store is located in a characteristic alley, which is very nice to check in. My only warm reminder to my boss, Your menu is a bit sticky. Maybe it’s stained with sauce😂

Small intimate Japanese. Food was closer to traditional Japanese fare that a lot of other UK Japanese places we have been to whilst still offering a some well known classics. They also served a (free) otoshi. They had several more unusual choices for a UK Japanese restaurant but would still appeal to a western palate. Ramen had exactly the bounce you want in your noodles and they didnt skimp on the toppings for the price. Duck Hirata Bun was a personal favourite.

it was ok, chicken katsu wasn't as good as usual and the tub was half empty with curry sauce, less vegetables in there as opposed to usual.

I still haven't had my order yet and this isn't the first time they've made me wait hours before receiving the food. The food is great quality but their deliveries are not.

We came across this little gem by accident on a girl's day out 6 people we actually went in thinking it was a Chinese restaurant but WOW the food was absolutely beautiful lovely atmosphere and staff where attentive and welcoming resteraunt itself was ambient and we will definitely be back Raman amazing sushi was a work of art ribs beatiful 100% recommended ♥️

Couldn't really fault the place. Food was lovely and fresh. Lost a star because we found out the staff don't get to keep their tips. Shabby!!

Not a delightful experience. Grilled salmon felt like a microwaved mackerel from Tesco sprinkled with salt, and not proving a lemon slice did not help..so take this with rice. Too salty to be a starter. The shrimp had too thick batter (felt like you can stab someone with it...#exag a bit) and the curry didn't taste like the creamier Japanese curry (Curry not a good pick here). But the salmon sashimi was a winner.

I recently dined at this fantastic Japanese restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The sushi was absolutely the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had a amazing experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is wonderful, providing the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The sushi is truly exquisite—beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh. The service is excellent, with staff who are both attentive and welcoming. A special mention goes to the sushi chef, who is not only highly skilled but also rather handsome! The sushi is a masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. My favourite Japanese restaurant in EAst Kilbride, the food is lovely , love the volcano rolls, all the dragon rolls , especially the fire dragon if you love spicy food, give this fire a try 😍🔥

The worst chicken I have ever had . Disgusting sauce

What a great place to eat i would highly recommend. We love getting the takeaway and they always put plenty of meat into my duck terriyaki. its quite expensive but you get what you pay for. 5 Stars from me !

Food is consistently fantastic

AMAZING. We had a reservation but they were 15min late with our table. However, they managed to find us a table ultimately and gave us a drink on the house. The service was excellent and the food was super tasty. What’s more, the space was very cosy. We will definitely come back!

Best Japanese food around! I've been to a few places for example wagamama etc and this place tastes far superior! Fresh, lovely and even cheaper! My favourite place to go to. I suggest the Pork Ramen 👌 *Update 2024* Been going here over the years and was here this year, still one of the best if not THE BEST, Japanese food in the area, well done 👌

The food was below average, which is very unfortunate as when I have sat in for meals it was great. The chicken was freezing cold, soy sauce had burst within the bag and coated everything. The sushi has zero structure as it was soaked right through in a sauce. It was falling apart and I was not able to enjoy how you should enjoy sushi. I am very unhappy with this experience.

Have been going to Oiishi for 5 years and have always loved it!! Tonight we had a wee mix up with orders but as soon as I phoned it was sorted immediately. Not only that but we were sent free items and both the staff in the restaurant and delivery staff were so apologetic. The food was absolutely beautiful and so fresh. Thank you so much!!!

I couldn’t find anything wrong with the place. Absolutely amazing food, brilliant and helpful staff, amazing atmosphere and it completely lives up to the amazing Japanese culture. So much better than the overpriced places in the city centre.

Absolutely incredible food. I had the pork ramen and the mini spicy tuna sushi (I think it might have been called segura, but please correct me if I'm wrong). My friends who'd just moved back from the States said it was the best food they'd tasted since they moved back to Scotland. Tracy even said it was the best ramen and sushi she'd ever tasted. I would wholeheartedly agree. Staff were also very attentive and lovely. I've also had takeaway from this place before and it was delicious. A must try for every East Kilbrodian.

Best Japanese restaurant I’ve tried in Scotland, the closest to Japan you’ll get in these parts

Sent me the wrong soup with my ramen but we’re happy to replace the mistake which was great with no fuss. Food was amazing as always.

There was no dipping sauce last order and there’s no soup with this order.

Food was fantastic as always but arrived a bit late despite having ordered early.

Honestly, this is some of the best sushi you’ll get on the west coast, definitely on a par with Glasgow and only just behind a couple in Edinburgh. Discovered them during lockdown and had a few great takeaways, dined in a couple of years back and wondered if the quality had stood up post COVID, inflation etc. Happy to say it has, the salmon and tuna nigiri in particular were a much higher quality than you’ll usually see.

A wee birthday treat for myself. Excellent as always! Driver was nice as well.
