I didn’t enjoy the food the sauce was clumpy the rice was really nice but not worth what I paid for

They delayed the delivery time over an hour and everything was cold.

Very tasty, Wonderfully packaged and piping hot. So impressed. 2x Chicken katsu, gioza, rice, wasabi, mizu and cucumber sush + katsu bento box. Very nice. hugely enjoyable meal! Thank you!

Food is always amazing here! Service can be slow at times even when it doesn't seem busy, but that won't stop me going back

Tucked away but a delightful find! The restaurant appears small but is quite spacious once inside. We were walk-ins and were delighted to be seated within 5 minutes of getting in the door. Their decor was quite kitschy, very much on theme. Good variety, although the menu does not match the one on display. Portions were on the reasonable side, would've appreciated more broth to go with the amount of noodles you get but we did enjoy our bowls of ramen. The beef was marinated/covered in batter, so just something to be aware of if you like beef ramen and expecting slices. Where we were seated, we could feel the subway pass which added to the vibe of the place. Service was on the slow side but food came out fairly quickly. We would like to visit again and explore other dishes on their menu.

Attractive Japanese restaurant, efficient and friendly staff, prawn tempuras and salmon sushi platter were good however the hot sake was the worst I’ve tasted, subpar water downed sourish sake! Consider quite expensive for the quality and amount you get. Won’t be rushing back.

It was entirely by chance that we went to this restaurant. We ordered ramen, stir fry and korean stir fry. Personally, loved the ramen and korean stir fry. The portions were good and filling. Happy that we went to this place.

Really enjoyed the meals. The Ambience is quite nice and. The staff was very kind and sweet. Service was good. My friends also loved the place and the meals as well. We had a great time.

A cozy Japanese restaurant that's easily mine and my partner's favourite. It's not the biggest but it's very cozy and the staff are incredibly friendly. Good menu selection with some lovely bento boxes that give you a good bit of everything. Their sushi is also absolutely to die for, I would recommend the spicy tuna hosomaki but you can't go wrong with anything.

good quality tuna sushi, ramen broth was a bit on the thin side, but then I'm spoiled having just returned from Japan. Takoyaki good and authentic with Benito flakes

Been going to this place for a number of years and it’s by far the best Japanese cuisine in Glasgow. Would also say it’s up there with the best meal you could eat in the city. Food is consistently tasty and the main host Karen is great at recommending new dishes. Nuku’s hospitality is second to none

Portion pretty small for the price and the duck was a little chewy. Tasted ok.

We were there on a Saturday evening with 3 people. Unfortunately, all services took a very, very long time. We waited over 25 minutes each time to order and eat. The bill also took another 15 minutes. The miso soup was forgotten and was only brought after the main courses. From our point of view, the problem was that the delivery services were being processed at the same time and the restaurant guests only had second priority. The taste of the food was ok, but it didn't meet the expectations we had based on the rating. The miso soup was boring and too expensive. The quality of the salmon and tuna was not good in my opinion. The salmon was very fatty and had skin on it, which I don't like in a poke bowl. The restaurant generally had a strange smell, hence the poor rating for the ambience. For us, the good rating is in no way understandable.

Amazing ramen, great portion! The interior was also so pretty. The service was good, however, while eating our main course the bill was just put on our table instead of asking for it. Could've wanted dessert! But nonetheless, great restaurant.

The food was delicious. Good presentation. The teryaki chicken was just ok which is why Ingave it four stars. The ramen was delicious as well as the rice, gyoza, and sushi rolls were excellent. The sake was also delicious. Needless to say the place was clean.

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The location is easy to get to, and the interior is beautiful. They have a wide variety of halal options. The food is delicious and reasonably priced too. Definitely worth a visit!

Ordered a bbq eel ramen & a salmon temaki. A bit disappointed for the sushi nori seaweed is not crunchy enough which makes a bit difficult to chew. For the eel ramen, taste quite good. Environment is good but the waitress looks very busy which gives a bit of uncomfortable feelings to the customers. Hope they will improve on that.

Good food and good atmosphere. Very generous amount of food for the bento package. For around £13, I got everything in one box. The only problem was they forgot to make my takoyaki, so I had to asked them for a takeaway instead, it wasn’t good when it’s not served warm.

The food was amazing! There are so many options, I would recommend this to anyone. For a sushi restaurant it is surprisingly cheaper (compared to other restaurants). Your order will be brought to you in 2-5 minutes! It was very quick! I ordered ramen w/ gyoza was the best I have ever had! After you are done eating you can get dessert, I would 100% recommend the tempura banana (deep fried banana) and mochi. The staff were very sweet and helpful! Will be coming back again. ⭐

Umm it’s okay tried other places this is pretty standard - for Glasgow central. Staff stated they couldn't put Mayo on a sushi where we had removed salmon, a few dollops of spicy Mayo couldn’t be added on top? When the other order had spicy Mayo on top, clearly a customer can ask to make changes to an order they are paying for and eating. Not sure if she didn’t understand but made us feel like we didn’t know. She was pretty sarcastic in any answer. When querying something off the menu I wanted to make sure it was the same thing I had tried previously had and I couldn’t make sense again another sarcastic answer - the vibe was off . Overprice for 12 roll that had only cucumber and mango 15£? Could of made it myself for the quarter of the price - not worth it -

Fabulous! Solid 10/10 Japanese food. Some of the best ramen I have tasted. Great value for money as well. The gyozas are heavenly! The prawn special was so good. Need to go back!!

Fui a probar y pedí un poco de ramen. Fue poco después de su apertura y me pareció extraño que no tuvieran un caldo determinado. El caldo debe cocinarse todos los días para saber que me sobraban. Sin embargo, ordené. Ramen junto con un poco de sushi. El sushi vino de la barra que la camarera (que era encantadora) como ella puso un poco de atún en una cama de arroz. No tenía el color del atún fresco y estaba mojado de forma extraña. Vino el ramen y estaba bien. Fui cortés y no me quejé, solo pregunté si el sushi estaba fresco o congelado. La camarera se fue corriendo y cerró la puerta de la cocina y unos minutos más tarde regresó y no respondió solo dijo 'todo gratis' Pedí un vino pequeño, así que le pedí mi cuenta y ella respondió que no todo gratis. Mientras tanto, un cocinero salió de la cocina con cangrejos congelados y garrapatas con escarcha a su alrededor. Quizás el pescado fresco se prepara para la cena, no estoy seguro, pero lo que tengo es congelado 😕 al estar en la calle Hope, está en pleno centro de la ciudad y mucha competencia. Frozen no les irá bien si continúan. La gente como Maki y Ramen es mucho mejor en el centro. Lo siento chicos 🙁

Beautiful, freshly made sushi. The prices are pretty reasonable. Lots of choice and the salmon is good quality. The menu is huge so it's hard to choose what you want! But everything we ordered was excellent.

Stir fry veggie udons were otherworldly!!!! Veggies were crunchy and sweet, udon was salty and mild, great dish!

Back here again at Nuku Nuku. Having been to Japan, I have to say this place has the best sushi I have tasted in the UK. My nephew loves the katsu curry. The staff are alway attentive and friendly. On top of this they have just had a fantastic makeover. Cannot recommend enough. ☺️

Very good food, especially tuna. Food was tasty and sufficiently varied. Sadly the soy sauce they supply contained loads of sugar, I don’t like poor additives. The Korean sauce was basically a chilly based sauce and nothing to do with Korea, but for general sashimi / nigiri solid choice.

The order took time but it was soooo WORTH IT! Absolutely destroyed the noodles, gyoza and sushi wrap in less than 10 minutes. It was delicious and the service was super kind and sweet. Will be recommending to all! Thank you 😊

Really tasty, fresh and well sized sushi rainbow rolls for a starter and the chicken gyoza miso ramen was very tasty!🥟 I will say it was a bit difficult to eat with the big spoon provided, and I needed some cutlery to cut the gyoza and noodles to prevent making a right mess everywhere 😋 My friend had the katsu curry, which was very nice but on the spicy side which was unexpected. Overall a lovely experience and the staff were really nice, too with fast service.

Hidden gem in Glasgow, or it was when we first went. Probably our favourite restaurant in Glasgow at the moment, our go to after work. Best Sushi in the city and the staff are brilliant.

I love this place. Affordable, delicious food. Lovely staff. Rapid service, you won't be waiting ages for your meal. Nuku Nuku is my go to place when I'm in town (I have left pubs, came here for food, then gone back to the pub again). They do takeaway as well so even if you can't sit in you can get something fabulous to take home with you. Treat yourself! Go!

Please don’t judge the book by the cover. Super casual, reasonably priced, clean with great service. We ordered: prawn tempura, chicken wings, avocado roll, dragon roll, fried rice with prawns, beer (Sapporo) and the House White. The Sapporo is huge. The dreaded house white was actually a really nice Pinot Grigio (Jack Rabbit) served from an icy cold glass bottle (single serve so it wasn’t stale - bonus!) Husband rates the Dragon Roll as his dish of the night, my fave was the prawn fried rice. Super delicious and will order again happily. The prawns had been deveined and were perfectly cooked. It’s not posh but we have a new favourite in the “eat out” rotation.

It's quite a nice place to stop by. You can taste European Japanese food, It's not as good as we have in Asia, but, yeah still a Good try.

The real Asian experience in Glasgow. The place it's simple and cosy, the workers extremely kind and the prices extremely cheap, even more so considering that we are in the center. It's a must go whenever I'm in Glasgow!

The food quality was so bad, most of the orders were tasteless!!! And the chicken was not cooked well it was so watery and not fresh at all! I am starting to lose hope in Asian food in Glasgow! This restaurant is so overrated! We could not even finish our orders.
