The best restaurants serving Japanese food in London

Me encanta sushi sagano. Yo solía comer de allí al menos una vez a la semana cuando yo vivía en Londres. Personal amable y buena comida. El restaurante es bastante pequeña, así que es muy íntimo si decides comer en pero siempre me dan la mía para ir.

I came back to London for a league of legends worlds event and this came up as a place to go. I had the pork katsudon l, authentic and tasted so good. What kept me here is all the staff, amazing atmosphere. I knew no one and ended up chatting to people I would of never met. 100% would recommend and come again. Runs and feels like a family and very hard working. Being someone that works in hospitality, I rate this place. Definitely make this a stop by 👌🏻

The food is good and fresh, very good value for money. The rice is not "tight" enough and the sushi/makis fall apart when they touch 3 drops of soy sauce There is plenty of room to sit The atmosphere and staff could be warmer

I am returning happy client for 7+ years, my previous visit was terrible . The tasting menu shrunk by half , and price up 30%?? Sashimi not as good as usual, the chef totally miscalculated the wasabi , was almost inedible for some of us. Service was excellent, the only standard that remained the same. All in all, felt like an absolute rip off, poor value for money. Won’t be returning.

The very best delicious. ordered sweet chilli chicken. nicely crispy and sauce fully cover whole crispy chicken pieces. sauce amazing chilli and sweet like honey. Yummy

I really wanted to like this place but the fish was terrible. The tuna was off! Seriously, a manky taste and slightly eggy smell. The one thing a sushi restaurant needs to get right… won’t go again.

Over all this place was really good. Ramen broth was really delicious. The chashu was also well seasoned however it looked like 3 thin peaces or roast pork, and the chicken gyoza had some weird spice init that made it unbeatable. maybe I expected slightly too much after living in Japan and experiencing Chef Morimoto’s food. And the last this is the price, for 2 (kind of small looking ramen), gyoza, edamame and 2 drinks we payed £77…. Way too much

It feels like being in Tokyo, excellent food and fish, free water and tea throughout the meal and a very welcoming place, MUST TRY 👍👍👍

Delicious food and very friendly, smiley staff. My friend and I were very pleased with the service, and throughly enjoyed the food and drink. I would definitely recommend trying their ‘Hakata Tonkotsu’ ramen, as well as the chicken/pork gyoza for starters. Delish!!

Absolutely incredible food from a lovely independent restaurant! Honestly miles better than Wagas!
