The best restaurants serving Japanese food in City of London, Westminster London

Defune did not disappoint! 😊 I was searching for a restaurant that served teppanyaki to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We really enjoyed our experience at Defune, the location is around a very cute part of London and close to Regents Park. The starters was perfect, really got our appetite ready for our mains. The portions were generous and we left with our bellies happily full. Would highly recommend visiting Defune! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nous y sommes allée pour leur bento à 10£, C'était bien nous n'avons pas trop attendu dehors, Nous avons commander les bento il y'a un large choix. Cependant quand nous avons reçu les bento ce n'étais pas bon, vous avez un mélange avec du tofu et autour une sorte de sauce avec de la gelée qui n'a aucun goût, vous avez également au choix un accompagnement donc viande ou poisson nous avons pris tous les 2 de la viande et ce n'étais vraiment pas de bonne qualité la viande est rempli de gras qui croque sous la dent donc j'ai laissé pratiquement tout mon poulet. Le riz était bon la soupe et la salade le reste était bon mais la qualité de la viande reste un gros point négatif.

The lady in this picture to the right was really rude and unprofessional .There was sick on the floor that was not cleaned up straight away and no sign was placed down, so unknowingly I went to walk across the other side of the room to my friend and as I did this the lady had grabbed my arm quite hard so I had pulled my arm away as a natural reaction as I was unaware of what she was doing, she then started being rude and then another lady pictured on the left of her said you should have let her fall in the sick . Both of the staff had attitude and were really rude and unprofessional and after this incident I heard her making comments about me , One of the comments was "her outfit is 1 star" I also heard other girls complaining about how rude they were. They should not be working here if they can't control their ratchet behaviour.

Estábamos buscando un bocadillo por la tarde y probamos Yo! El servicio era muy atento (Sanu era muy servicial) y el chef estaba muy contento de hacernos comida caliente fresca.

Had the chicken katsu curry, and it was really good! Good sauce, good noodles, good chicken, good value. I think I’ll be back here again.

I went there with a group of friends and we paid £30 I think for karaoke and a 2 meal course. The food tasted fine but they changed the menu so less options and most of the people who got the burger it was not well cooked. However, they apologized and cooked again to their liking which is great! The karaoke was fun, I cannot complain in terms of the music selection because most Karaoke places will have the same selection.

Mi segunda visita de vuelta. Muy decepcionante. Pedí ramen caliente, el caldo estaba tibio. Pato precocido y frío. Dejó la mitad del tazón antes de pagar, la camarera ni siquiera pensó en preguntar si todo estaba bien.

My boyfriend booked a table here the night after valentines to avoid the crowds on the 14th Feb and we thought it would be really busy! We were the only people in there! One couple did come in and sat next to us but did a runner as soon as the waiter left them with menus. I wish we had done the same. I cannot believe how dirty this place was. the floor was so sticky and the toilets were vile (which always makes me think what is the kitchen like?). it was really overpriced for what it was. There was no atmosphere and the staff didn't really speak. Me and my boyfriend found ourselves whispering as we felt so awkward. The only positive that can be taken away is we still bring it up and laugh about it as 'THAT valentines'

I've been visiting Wasabi on Piccadilly regularly for the past few years. Used to be pretty good value. Had chicken teriyaki there today : the portion was tiny and the price too high: £6.15 for a ladle of rice and a ladle of teriyaki. I counted three small pieces of chicken in the Teriyaki. Post lockdown the portions have got smaller and the price has gone up. Shame, because what I had tasted pretty good.

Otroligt god och fräsch mat som görs på beställning. Ramen va väldigt god och smakrik, personalen var otroligt trevlig och såg till att vi fick sitta tillsammans och att den med allergi kunde äta. Trevligt ställle!

"Tiny Japanese "Tapas" venue more than small and popular enough for a booking to be essential. Note pad ordering is fun but services is a let down for this other very good destination."

Tolles Essen hier. Bekannt für die Suppen aber auch die Teller Gerichte mit Reis oder Nudeln sind gut. Für die Kinder gibt es eine separate Kinderkarte und auch preislich hört sich alles im Rahmen

這間餐廳在甚麼都昂貴的倫敦來說價位相對算便宜，分店很多，然後菜單選擇也不少，如果想要吃份比較清爽的餐點，且不想花太多錢，這邊不失為一個好選擇。

I had so much fun at Yo Sushi -- I loved the sushi conveyor belt! Such a fun service method. The management was very friendly, the service great. My only complaint would be the price -- it's probably the most expensive sushi I've ever had! But you can't beat the sushi-conveyor-belt experience.
