Been here 6 times. The sushi is great quality and the price is great. They do accept card since a year ago, no longer cash only!!

Sushi is my favorite food, I have had it in many restaurants in the UK and in many other countries and I can confirm the it was below average - you get what you pay for. Server was very nice, however, did not allow me to seat on a table. If you’re going solo like myself, you are obliged to seat by the counter (even though the tables remained empty for the entire time I was there and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all). The view? A pile of dusty plates and you don’t have much room to move around. Because the space is so small, every time the waiter would serve the person by my side he would touch my arm or my back, which was very uncomfortable. Overall it’s a pass for me, there are better places in London and even sushi to go from a restaurant chain would’ve been nicer.

Very fast service and tasty food

They’ve changed their Buffet and now they’re only serving all you can eat buffet till 3pm. So, I went yesterday with a friend of mine without knowing about it, it was precisely 2:40pm and the guy with glasses who’s hosting and serving came outside to tell my friend and I they wouldn’t serve us buffet unless it was A la Carte, even though it wasn’t 3pm yet. I questioned him that and he said - “ buffet finished at 2:30pm even though the signage says 3pm. Very disappointed with the service and the luck of empathy.

Quality matches the price! The female waitstaff have a poor attitude！ If you're used to high-end Japanese cuisine and have a small appetite, you might want to skip this place! But if you have a big appetite, want to eat sushi to your heart's content, and aren't too picky about quality, then go for the salmon! Food:The sushi and salmon sashimi are decent, and the edamame and miso soup are a plus. However, the hot dishes are a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend ordering them. I ended up throwing away most of the hot dishes because they were just awful. The chicken had a particularly strong gamey taste, and the tempura batter seemed undercooked, making it sticky! Service:I've seen many complaints about the service, and I partly agree. This was my first time at a buffet, and I mistakenly pronounced it as "but~fet," so the waitstaff thought I was asking for the bathroom. As an overseas student with poor English, I often use English, so I think it's normal to be laughed at for mispronouncing words. Don’t be too sensitive about it! Later, I heard the staff speaking in Cantonese and Mandarin, so I switched to speaking Mandarin. It was a bit noisy, and when I spoke broken English, they couldn’t understand and I had to repeat myself several times. For those whose English isn't great, just communicate in Chinese. If the staff doesn't cooperate, feel free to give them a piece of your mind and then leave. After all, this is Chinatown, and they don't use English among themselves anyway! Heartwarming moment:When the staff was laughing at my mispronunciation, I looked at them awkwardly for a moment. A handsome guy speaking Cantonese or some other dialect noticed and stopped the discussion. The only foreign waiter there had a great attitude, very patient and detailed. Thumbs up! If anyone can afford it, give him a tip, haha. I'll carry £5 with me next time! Price: £26.2, same price for cash and card! Service charge is included! So don't hesitate to speak Chinese and boldly make requests!

Excellent food and friendly staff. The atmosphere inside was homely and the staff ensured we understood their menu options well - we had the "all you can eat" sushi which I highly recommend. It is prepared quickly and served well. In terms of price it is affordable for such good sushi: We usually spend 52£ for two people for a super large dinner. Even though there IS a limit on how much you can order - six rounds consisting of 6 items each, plus ONE round of hot dishes consisting of up to 8 items, I refuse to believe anyone actually made it through and left unsatisfied. (It is a massive amount of food - spoken by a man who is no stranger to buffets and usually "eats back the price in full")

Went there with my mum for Christmas meet up because a friend had suggested. I really like it as the food is not set in a buffet but freshly made depending on buffet menu order ! It’s excellent and have recommended it around and everyone loves it !

Was not good, didn’t taste very fresh but at least didn’t get food poisoning. I suppose you can come if you just want quantity (and can eat a lot of rice) as opposed to quality.

I have been several times over the years ( my first visit was in 2022) and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and quite affordable. All servers are kind but there is a particular gentleman who is always kind and smiley. This is now a staple restaurant for when I want good sushi. I must try their a la carte menu one day too.

It was a first time for us trying out a sushi buffet. I liked the options and the service for the waiters...

Pros: - sushi is good and fresh - if you max out each 6 rounds of food there is no way you can still be hungry at the end - service was very quick Cons: - rules of how to order were a bit confusing for some - they always seat you next to other people regardless of if there are other tables free - Technically not all you can eat but still way more than you will be able to.

The sushi here is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. 'all you can eat' option, which is incredibly reasonable at around £26. The variety of sushi available is impressive, from classic rolls to more creative combinations, catering to all tastes. While the ambiance isn't particularly cozy, it is clean and functional, focusing on providing a straightforward dining experience. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Additionally, they now accept credit and debit cards, which is a convenient update from their previous cash-only policy.

The serving portions were more than enough but the taste is just average. I liked some of it but nothing really did stand out.

Great deal - all-you-can-eat sushi for just under 30 pounds. Menu is limited, but they provide a generous amount of salmon sashimi whenever you order it. The fish is fresh and tasty. Service, however, can feel a bit rushed at times.

Been going there for years for the all you can eat deal! The sushi is usually pretty decent, especially the fresh salmon. The fried options, vary, can be a hit and miss sometimes. Sitting downstairs with friends is always our recommendation, as upstairs is not that nice.

04/07/24 What a beautiful place for a sushi date and an excellent food experience! I took my partner here and we had not gone out to eat sushi apart from going to Tesco… haha. The price is amazing for the immaculate that was plated. I had such a lovely time. The staff were so lovely and supportive in helping us order. We could only do one round, we were absolutely stuffed! The sushi was okay, but the hot food was genuinely awful.

There were enough tables free to be seated but the arrogant waiter decided to squeeze us in a table with another to 4 people. We left because it was uncomfortable for them and us, the waiter didn’t care. It’s not the 1st time we went there, another time he seated us at the bar again struggling with space while eating the dinner and free tables downstairs. Rude and careless attitude.

The buffet is definitely worth it if you are a Fish and Sashimi lover. If you are going as a group and one person wants the buffet then everyone must get it. The value of the a la crate menu is inflated to incentivise the buffet menu. The all you can eat buffet is slightly cheaper Mondays - Thursdays. Really delicious food. Not worth the price if are vegetarian as the options are limited.

Went yesterday with a friend. The place is not bad,especially liked that we have to seat down as it makes you more eat "like a real Japanese". But one of the staff was kinda rude with my friend.

A complete rip off. It’s not actually AYCE as they limit you to six rounds, and all rolls have the tiniest piece of sushi wrapped in rice. Leas with integrity, put customers first not their wallets

Was a miss for us, sushi was not to fresh and we were charged again for the sushi we couldn’t eat also to be told that we were not allowed to take home the sushi despite paying double for it because we couldn’t eat the rest.

Salmon sashimi was the only item I reodered. I don't usually eat salmon sashimi if there're other choices. The batter of the deep fried tofu was hard. The beef teriyaki was literally Chinese styled fried beed with spring spouts in soya sauce. It's the first Tan-Tan noodles I ate in a Japanese restaurant. The noodles were too soft. The shrimps empura was tasteless and not well fried. Some items can only be ordered once only - tuna and butterfish sashimi. Other items can be ordered 6 rounds in 1.5 hours. Drinks are charged separately including green tea. I didn't hear any Japanese in the restaurant; the staff spoke English and Cantonese. Roughly £30 per head (I ordered 1 hot green tea).

Food was alright, but bad service. Feels like they don't want to serve you at all. Very unlikely that we will go back again, much better choice out there.

Food was ok. Don't think the staff was very friendly. We stood outside and they didn't let us in! Had to ask them to see if they were open which seem like there was hesitation. I don't think they like people with kids. They didn't allow us to have a menu each to look at. One menu to share between 3 adults!!! Seriously!! Don't bother if you are out with family and kids.

My partner and I came before seeing a show close by in the afternoon and had an amazing time. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather with a roll and bento box lunch special. Their staff was so welcoming and helpful and the food was great for a nice price. Will be back!

What a cute place!! We sat downstairs, at low tables, with our feet in the pit under the table. Friendly and patient waiters helped us choose excellent dishes - Sushi, stir fry and the house dish with chicken in many ceremonies. Highly recommended, there is also food as much as you can

BIG WARNING!! That was the ugliest and awful experience that i had in my entire life, the food was such a poison , the way that they treat you is horrible, the waitress was so mad doing her job , she was throwing the dishes everywhere, her attitude was horrible , the sushis were foul, we arrived about one hour before the closure and they were hurrying us to order and quit the place at 22:00, we did not even had enough time to check the menu , when asking the waitress what was the ingredients in any product she was yelling and tapping her feet on the ground by madness , i really invite you all to avoid this restaurant because it is a big mess and it is not. Worth it

Really good price for the food. Not a lot of options but enough. Highly recommended.

It’s not perfect but for the price at £30 a head with a drink, it’s very hard to complain. The sushi tasted good and there was more than enough to be a decent sized dinner. It was busy and we were seated on tables with other couples. Privacy isn’t really a thing here. It is a very loud atmosphere. You sit at floor level with addition leg room cut into the floor. The service is fast paced but not too bad given how busy it is. This is impersonal sushi, reasonable quality and a great price for Soho. I’d recommend giving it a try.

Went for the all you can eat however there were a lot of rules to it and the waiter was a little short with us when asking if the salmon and avocado could come minus the avocado. It couldn’t. Possibly it’s premade? The hot dishes were a limit of one order of the 8 or so options that couldn’t be repeated. For example you could only get 1 order from the 8 limit of katsu chicken, not 2 for the table. The sushi itself was at least all you can eat but as I don’t eat that and was there for the hot food and my mrs the sushi we decided to eat elsewhere.

Probably our favourite all you can eat sushi place so far. We’ve been a few times over the years and always enjoyed the food.

Definitely one of the best sushi buffets in London, usually gets quite crowded and tight seating spaces. Beware there is a £5 food waste cost.

Very tasty all you can eat Sushi place that has been here for ages and still going strong. Options a bit more limited than in the past, but still plenty of them. Eating time limited to 1.5 hours, but this wasn't an issue for us at all Service was nice and quick, with multiple top ups of green tea.

Very good value for money - £23 all you can eat sushi. Would recommend the salmon sashimi a lot.

The best sushi i ever eat. All you can eat.. with fair money for Soho area .. many choices .. smiling waiters and good quality.

My second time and never again. Few sushi option available . Not much fish with too much rice and black avocado for £27.30. Yes they advertise £24.80 but MANDATORY 10% service charge. Also they keep checking your plates to make sure you are not “wasting” one sushi.

Food of reasonable quality, but service dreadful. I ordered some sushi for starter, to be followed by a bento box, both accompanied by sake. The bento box arrived first, with a compartment empty. I asked if there should be something in yt and was told no no, but when I asked what the wasabi was for, the waiter then admitted something had been left out and provided it. Then the sushi came. I waited ages to get the attention of the waiter to ask where was the sake. Particularly annoying was being repeatedly told:"No problem!" Have eaten there often, but won't be returning. !'

We go there regularly with friends, love this place. The restaurant team do their best to make your visit pleasant.

Lunch Bento box was great value and more food than I expected

My favourite restaurant in London. Coming here for over 13 years. Staff are not rude, just efficient. Chicken fish is the tops. Don't touch the grim curtains near the bog. You'll love it good value.

Their specialty is “rice roll”, their sushi is a lot of rice to almost no fish (see picture). They also made the impossible possible: the hot dishes were tasteless, they’re mostly fried stuff (70% dough ratio) without any flavor. The only dish I liked was the sashimi and the octopus fried ball. We could have ordered 6 rounds, but we just did 2 and left, it was not worth it to fill up our bellies with rice and dough only.

There were two Chinese waiters, one fat Chinese with a very bad attitude, and one thin Chinese with a very bad face. The only way to describe it is bad.

Went for the all-you-can eat, where we were informed that while the cold food (nigiri, sashimi, california rolls) were “unlimited” (6 rounds max), the hot food (kagare, goyoza, teriyaki chicken) was a single portion - so two goyozas for the entirety of the meal. A bit disappointing for £26.

I haven’t been in this place since pandemic and I have tried last year, unfortunately they don’t take anymore phone bookings and sometimes the waiting queues at the door can reach even two hours. Yesterday I have decided to give it a new try and the gentleman didn’t wanted to let me if as I was waiting for my friend, there were table available inside but he didn’t wanted me to wait at the table. It’s insane to leave someone outside in the rain that’s going to dine in your restaurant, and I found this rude. Once we came inside I have asked if we can go downstairs and he nearly shouted at us saying no, we had a table facing their working table and all of them heheh we’re constantly checking on us, that’s was very uncomfortable. Food was so and so, rice very sticky I couldn’t even take one piece at the time as many pieces were stuck together. The curtains used at the bathroom and going downstairs were like vomiting, dirty and a definitely no. The whole night I was sick with food poisoning and that’s sooo unacceptable. Kindness, hygiene and respect are few of the things to make run your business. The rudeness of that Chinese man shocked me as I haven’t seen anyone working in hospitality UK this way.

I recently dined at Sushi Eatery and unfortunately had a rather unpleasant experience. Not only was the sushi mediocre, but the staff member attending to our table was incredibly rude. Their demeanor was off-putting and it significantly detracted from our overall dining experience. I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the staff, and it certainly overshadowed any positives about the food. I'm hesitant to return or recommend this establishment to others due to this negative encounter.

I had the worst experience here, the food was stale and disgusting. The place was so unhygienic - very dirty tables and cutlery. Also the service was extremely bad especially by the waiter at the front door - he was extremely rude and condescending. Would never go back!

Is a cute sushi - Chinese restaurant. It's a lovely restaurant. You could seat on unique tables if you want. In terms of service was really good and rapid. One employee was quite strange and nervous. That's was weird. As far as food is considered that was really delicious. Freshly ingredients. Salmon sashimi was the best. Price is fixed because the restaurant philosophy is all you can eat. Actually, there are six food rounds in each you could choose until six plates. Also, you could choose just one time from the special menu. If you don't eat your food from plates you have to pay five pounds each. The whole thing is like a game, challenge. I highly recommend that reastraunt for whole experience.

Not too many choices. The hot food can only be ordered for 1 round. No harm to give it a try if you like sushi (rice) but the quality does not really worth the price.

I have been there 5 times. The service people are always smilling and kind. We have to wait a little bit until be seated but its Soho so make sense. The food is amazing for my sense of taste and the unlimited sushi is number one. The bonus sushi is EXELLENT! 24£ per person for Soho is cheap. I love it.. and recommended 100%

The sashimi is okay, but the sushi rice is not delicious. The buffet rules are quite complicated, so you have to ask the service staff to explain them to you when you enter. The attitude of the service staff was extreme. We were left waiting at the door for 4 minutes. The boss's tone is a bit like that of a kindergarten teacher 😂 It's a bit frustrating to eat. I don't recommend it if you have a small appetite as there will be a 5 pound fine if you can't finish it. The atmosphere in the store is okay and the seats are quite interesting.

I don't understand why the waiter who made us wait outside for a table was so rude and didn't feel welcome at all. The rules for buffet dining were complicated and the food was very plain.

I was shocked. Apart from the fact that I could order more salmon, there was no other advantage. The tempura was not freshly fried and had a very soft texture. The fried dumpling skin is thin, not crispy and not tasty. The tofu was ok, but the crust was too hard. All sushi dishes are not delicious! ! The rice tastes sticky, not as distinct as sushi rice, and it's not delicious at all! Either it has no taste, or it tastes weird, and the dishes are not impressive. Moreover, the attitude of the store clerk was unclear. The female proprietress (probably) kicked us out of the store and waited for our meal outside. It was very cold and the feeling of ordering was very strange. A very bad dining experience.

Been going here for years. The quality to cost is unbeatable in London. I have found thr quality has only increased over time with the slowly increasing prices. The service used to be a secondary afterthought but I'm recent times they are appearing to be working on it and have had a pleasant experience, as will as the recent introduction of a card machine (about time!)

Si eres amante del sushi no vayas, en el barrio chino un sushi bastante malo, los camareros te meten presión para pedir, lo que hace una experiencia bastante incómoda, precio muy alto para la calidad y la variedad que ofrecen, ya que es muy limitado la oferta de sushi, te hacen sentarte con gente en la misma mesa, no tiene nada de privacidad, la camarera bastante maleducada por ser extranjeros, además, la higiene bastante mala, comimos en la mesa con platos de los clientes anteriores. Yes yes yes, having a very fussy teenager who loves sushi this was the perfect experience. Food options were very comprehensive and allowed them to try otherwise out of my skill set cuisine. They were beaten by round 3 which surprised both of us. Staff were great and seating arrangements were unique for me. This will be a regular visit from now on. For both of us including handmade lemonade and including tip £62. Which is very reasonable

Had the all you can eat option here. Its six rounds of sushi you can order. We barely made it to three. The sushi was nice especially for the quantity and price i cannot complain.

The food simply tastes bad, not sure why it still got 3.8. I’m wondering for the people rate the food 2 stars or higher, have you ever been to Japan, Canada, or China? Apart from salmon sashimi I could give a 3 stars, giving 1 star to all other foods here is overrating🤞 seriously. Save your money, go have some steak or Korean Bbq or even fish and chips…

All you can eat sushi/sashimi,etc, amazing! Went twice so far with friends& family, they all love it. Menu rules for all u can eat are: one hot food menu which u can only order once(we just ticked all boxes), but cold dish like sushi/sashimi/rolls, etc can order 6 rounds. No worry, all of us were already so stuffed when the 2nd /3rd round came… I wish I can defeat the 6th round, not possible…. Nice place to enjoy fresh fish and talk to friends, staff are nice too.

It a wonderful sushi spot in London. It’s a 6 round sushi, with various sushi and all of them very well prepared. The price is amazing specially considering the quality of the food. They used to accept only cash, but now they’re also accepting card. It definitely my favourite sushi place in London.

worst place u could ever go, me and my friends went today it’s not our 1st time & now when we went today they said it’s not halal!! Like we’ve been there 5 times before and they never mentioned it and we asked them the 1st time we went and they said the sushi is and now they saying no! Stuff extremely rude since day 1 and they gave u dirty looks all the time and they shout would never recommend this place to anyone specially muslims because they’re racist and Islam phobic. They treated us really bad since day one and we let it slide. they kept making excuses about them not telling us before that it’s not halal and that the guy never saw us before even tho the lady upstairs that told us it’s not halal was serving us every time we went. RACIST STUFF BAD ATMOSPHERE BAD PEOPLE I HOPE THEY SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN

We went back for our second visit and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't eat six rounds, but left feeling really full after a few. The food was great and will definitely return for more soon.

First of all, my boyfriend and I were having food here, because he said he wants to go here, we got in, we sat on the lower ground, we got to share tables with other people which I am fine with, their service is not good, rushing us to order order order, the waitress and waiter kept looking at us for no reason, they put food on table and doesn't tell us what food it was, I am a waitress myself and been working in a restaurant for over 7years, i treat my customers good and with care, and I have never experience this kind of service before, please guy, please avoid this restaurant... their food, the management and the service has gone down.... just rudeeee!!!

Lovely food! Very tasty! Yes, sometimes the staff may come a little unfriendly when they mention to you you have to leave the table by this time and you will be charged 5 pounds if you do not eat all! Otherwise, this is our regular sushi place...we come here regular! We would recommend as is also good value for money! And it is good now that they accept card payments as before it was cash oy and that was one impediment for some...when I sent my friends there they gave up as they did not have cash so they decided to not go anymore!

The staff asked us we can’t sit while one of the member is not here so we had to wait then we was told we can have the buffet until 9:30 last order. Once seated i ask this is the wrong menu and the waiter went up stairs and asked she said she was told only normal menu not buffet when right before we came to the table we was told buffet open till 9:30 then the manager was rudely giving us attitude and opened the door on my face
