I suspect that this restaurant is fairly typical of the chain. Helpful friendly staff. I wanted a dish that was not on the conveyor belt, so they made it up for me. Tasty salmon dish. Bottomless Miso soup which was nice. Just over £20 per head including some drinks and a tip.

Have been to various branches of Yo! Sushi many times and always enjoyed it so thought it was a shame that the chain seems to be struggling, but after this experience I won't care if they need to close even more. They've done away with being able to order with your phone, which would be fine if they had enough staff, but there was one waiter to be seating people, taking orders, bringing the food out, taking payment etc. The food was tasty as usual, but there was a chicken katsu brought out rather than a pumpkin katsu, which was traumatising for my other half who hasn't eaten meat in many many years - I don't know if this error was on the part of the waiter or the chef, but everything else we'd ordered was vegan which should've been a clue. We had to go searching for our own forks to eat the katsu dishes with after the chef had brought them out, as the waiter couldn't be seen, and in the end could only locate wooden takeaway forks. I was up for ordering some dessert but the one waiter seemed to like vanishing so we gave up after about twenty minutes and decided just to get the bill once we were able to get the waiter's attention. I was presented with only a card machine, no itemised receipt to double check through, and was shocked by how much the prices had gone up by since my last visit to a Yo! Sushi. If the automatically added service charge had been any more than 7.5% (less than anywhere else we go regularly), I would've been asking for it to be removed but to give the waiter some slack, it wouldn't be his fault that he was the only one working.

Me and my mom stopped by for some sushi on Monday before going up north , we were a bit sad that they didn’t have some of our favourite rolls , but we understand as the restaurant was super busy and there was only one waiter running it all by himself , despite this he still checked back on us many times and didn’t seem stressed at all which is very rare in situations like this!Costumer service was spot on , I didn’t get his name but if you are considering this restaurant and the guy with a ear piercing is there it is guaranteed that you will feel welcomed. Great to see the belt is the back. The kids love grabbing stuff off there, and it really makes the experience compared to other restaurants. This is our second trip to this branch in as many months, and again the service was poor. We had to ask and remind the staff multiple times to get the drinks we had ordered - our water never actually arrived - and the kitchen staff eventually took to just passing us our orders directly rather than waiting for the service staff to do so. Tables were left dirty while customers were queueing and told it would be a half hour wait for a table - they left. Our booth had old food all over the floor and down the sides of the cushions. The food was great though - glad to see Chicken Yakitori is back. Now bring back Spicy Chicken Salad, Crispy Salmon Skin (in all iterations), those little sausage things...

I’ve never done this before but we left before we had eaten anything - the table we were given looked so dirty and not just with the odd crumbs etc, but ground in dirt. When you are eating sushi you need everything to be really clean, in my opinion, and this certainly wasn’t.

The sushi school was absolutely fantastic. We loved learning about the rice and how it is made and the fish and what different parts of it are used for. But what really put it over the top was our teacher Carolina she was so kind and really made the experience memorable and fun for all the family. We all went home with huge smiles on our faces thanks to the delicious food and the fabulous fun and teacher. I would definitely recommend great for presents for people.

Only one waiter for the whole restaurant, who was clearly overworked, meaning a few mistakes were made (wrong drinks, no glasses, no chopsticks etc). Found the self ordering system very difficult to use due to minimal phone signal, then once orders were placed there was no way of being able to view what we’d ordered. Many things missing from the menu - no edamame, no choice of gyozas, kids bento didn’t have much choice - only 3 available options and the rice that came wasn’t what was on the menu (no vegetables)… Overall a really disappointing experience of what was supposed to be a summer holiday treat during a day trip to London

The web app is painful to navigate, even though I knew I wanted Yakisoba from seeing it in the printed menu. The printed menu is far easier to browse. There's no search facility in the web app. All dishes should have a number as well as a name. When I found Yakisoba it was listed in the Big Bowls section of the app. But I didn't realise I was ordering the small version because a) the web app displays only one price (for the smaller portion) at the top b) the fact that there are two sizes to choose are hidden at the bottom and you need to realise to scroll down.

A reflection on the ability to contact the restaurant not the actual place. repeatedly tried to contact this restaurant as my card was being used over 4 hours away from where I live, however their phone line doesn’t seem to work and their phone mailbox is full. This therefore meant I lost out on money as I couldn’t ring up and cancel and somebody else spent my points and used my money for their takeaway order.

The Sushi making class is so good. You get to make several different types of sushi (maki, hand roll, California roll and your choice, plus you get to eat lots of extras throughout the experience). Our host, Karolina was brilliant! Made sure everyone had a good time and taught up tips and tricks to make sushi ourselves at home. I think this is a great thing to do as a couple, or with a friend - such good value for money. Came away FULL of sushi, with a goodie bag too (see pic for the amount we took home…). Very happy customer :) Thank you!

The lack of their reintroduction certainly changes the Yo experience in a detrimental way. One of our items ordered didn't appear until we chased and arrived missing ta key ingredient which I didn't realise until I'd eaten it all so couldn't ask for a replacement. There was a high-pitched bleeping "alert" every few seconds which we asked to be switched off, and after the second tome of asking, a member of staff told us it couldn't be stopped. VERY irritating. As we saw no indication when ordering via their website that there is now a points system for obtaining future discounts, we each ordered separately thus preventing us from accumulating joint points faster. Amazingly, because a side-effect of this was that the staff knew which of us had ordered which item (rather than the order being for the table instead of a specific person), it still prevented them from knowing which of us had ordered what. All in all, yosushi is now too much hassle and has lost its magic.

This sushi making course was a two hour early evening session. The instructor was great, she explained everything with practical demonstrations and was patient, friendly and helpful in a relaxed environment. Individual assistance was provided when necessary. There was no down time or any time wasted, waiting for the next part of the course to start. The instructor was extremely conscientious and took all the right safety precautions for those with a sesame allergy, to avoid the risk of cross contamination. It was great value. The food one prepared was seemingly as good as the restaurant, and probably more than covered the cost of the course! One free drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) a starter from the restaurant menu and the sushi making bamboo rolling mat were all included, with the cost. There is absolutely no need to go for some of the more expensive courses. If you want to learn the basics of sushi making, this is the ideal course for everything you need to get you started and give you all the confidence and basic to progress further if you want to, under your own steam. Highly recommended.

The food was as lovely as ever. However a couple of things made our meal less than good. There was an irritating beeping noise every 30 seconds or so. We asked the staff if they could stop it and they said they couldn't. The ordering system using the QR code on the table was OK but it took a while to get logged in and then there was confusion about which of us ordered what as we were using different QR codes. I will make sure the next time I visit Yo! Sushi that the conveyor belt system is working - that is much better.

I went there with a group of friends and we paid £30 I think for karaoke and a 2 meal course. The food tasted fine but they changed the menu so less options and most of the people who got the burger it was not well cooked. However, they apologized and cooked again to their liking which is great! The karaoke was fun, I cannot complain in terms of the music selection because most Karaoke places will have the same selection.

I had walked in and was greeted with one of most rudest staff members I have ever encountered at a K10! Upon my arrival I had to gesture the woman behind the counter twice to which she looked straight at my face with a disgusting look on her face which made me feel awkward and like I wanted to leave. Now I'm not in customer service, but I'm pretty sure, if you walk in and say "hello" to a staff member you'd expect a polite "hi or hello", what was her response, "what do you want". Ignoring the abrupt behaviour, as soon as I opened my mouth to say my order, she interrupted and said we haven't got that! And then continued to point out everything that they didn't have in such a rude way that I turned on my heels and left the restaurant. I didn't catch the young ladies name, but she was there around 3:45 at the counter with a young man on the 17th February. Dark hair, didn't have a uniform (maybe management). After this experience at K10, it'll definitely be the last!
