The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Japanese food

THE BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had. Okonomiyaki on the menu which I’ve not seen on menus anywhere outside of Japan so far. They do huge pizzas too which look delicious. Fun and relaxed place to hang out. Good and drinks CHEAP drinks menu. Really interesting looking cocktails I’ve not seen before. I’m looking forwards to coming back. Every so often I like to treat myself to a little meal on my own. Nice to sit in the corner watching Naruto. I noticed families eating there as well as some other solo customers who sat at the bar, the staff were all cheerful and friendly without exception. Seems like a cool place to hang. The vibes were immaculate. They also cater to veggies. I’ve been searching high and low for a Japanese/chicken place. Really authentic food, lovely atmosphere, huge portions and unbelievably good prices. It’s well worth the minuscule 2 minute walk away from the main drag where the restaurants are all either over priced and/or quite shoddy. Keiko is simply fantastic! She has a wonderful teaching style and a lovely calm but fun manner which added hugely to our enjoyment of the evening. She teaches in such a clear way that even the non-chefs amongst us (me especially) feel confident about our new sushi skills. I could not recommend her more.

Ordered sushi from Toro 4-5 times now, each time it's well packaged, fresh and really tasty. The vegan options are great, with quite a few different selections. Love it, it's my go to place for sushi delivery.

Delicious sushi - so tasty and fresh! We order and collect and they make it there and then. If you want fresh, proper sushi, please go here. You will NOT be disappointed. I would normally go to the Waitrose Sushi bar and this is 10x better!!

Simple, tasty and healthy sushi. I tried a burrito which was delicious. A very relaxed and pleasant environment in which the service was friendly and efficient.

Super clean,neat and tidy. We had an early dinner on a Friday night.Limited seating but plenty of room for us.Restaurant busy with on line deliveries. Great choice of menu, food was tasty , fresh and plentiful.Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Really great sushi, looks beautiful and was really well made and very tasty. Not too expensive either. The ordering process was really straightforward and customer service is great, I made a mistake on my order so I emailed them and they fixed it and emailed me back really quickly. My order arrived promptly and the staff are super friendly. Really impressed and I'll definitely be ordering again!
