Sushi Futomaki is located in Ruislip High Street and is a short walk from Ruislip station. We have eaten here numerous times over the past year or so and always enjoyed the food, drink, service and pleasant ambiance. I generally have miso soup, prawn tempura or gyozas, and temaki (soft shell crab & avocado and teriyaki eel). To drink, we generally have a bottle of Chardonnay and some hot sake. Cost is generally around £90 for two which is decent value in these expensive days.

This was our monthly lunch get together and we decided to return to our local Japanese. We took advantage of 20% off food by booking on-line. We tried different dishes this time, chicken faraage, chicken yakisoba, tofu teriyaki and a prawn avocado temaki, all generous portion sizes and delicious, would recommend

This food is seriously addictive! We have only eaten food to take-out but have promised ourselves a visit at Christmas. My husband and daughter love Japanese food - I was never keen, but now I am a convert. This food, even as a take-away is beautifully presented and fresh. If it is supposed to be crispy, it will be, if a dish is supposed to be hot, then it will be. The flavours are amazing. We would recommend Chicken Karage for those who like it crunchy, the gyozas for their wonderful flavour and also the delicately flavoured Yakitori chicken, We always enjoy Hosomaki and for mains, the Super Crunchy Volcano roll, Teriyaki beef or Salmon and we love Yakisoba noodles with Chilli chicken which isn’t really on the menu but they happily swap the noodles as we are not keen on udon. The Manager is welcoming and friendly and this restaurant is a breath of fresh air for Ruislip

Really surprised how busy the restaurant was for Saturday lunchtime. This was our monthly get together for lunch which we enjoyed, we started with prawn tempura and vegetable gyazas which were delicious followed by chicken katsu and tofu teriyaki accompanied by a bottle of French Chenin total cost including service charge £76. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to try something different

Lovely food. Very relaxed. Eaten in much more expensive restaurants and not had such a good experience. Just go if you love Japanese food

This place wasn't particularly cheap, but the food was very good. However, the Tempura prawns tasted very, very similar to the ones sold in Iceland opposite the restaurant! My beef teriyaki was superb and my partner liked her bayo bun, the music was played a bit too loud for our liking as it was difficult to hold a conversation, but we have been and we liked the place.

We came here for breakfast just before we flied out to Hong Kong. The staff at the entrance was friendly, as we were taken to a higher chair table in no time - although we requested to sit on a normal table (due to we are both relatively short) but our requests were quickly turned down. We ordered 2 juices, a portion of chicken gyoza, a veggie pad Thai, & a Japanese ham omelette. The juices were refreshing, pad Thai, gyoza tasted normal (like what you'd expect from Wagamama), but the Japanese Omelette was horrible! Instead of using normal bacon on Omelette, they choose the thick pork instead which the texture tasted strange & were chewy. They also overloaded with excessive spring onions inside out & the cabbage inside the Omelette was completely unnecessary. I don't mind Wagamama creates new dishes via various inspirations from time to time, but please do it properly next time! I also had to wait for about 1/2 hr for the Omelette. By the time it arrived, my wife had already finished her pad Thai and juice. Overall, I was disappointed. The breakfast for 2 came to £48.40 (before tips)
