Wagamama in Hillingdon

I love Wagamama, I started eating in the very first restaurant to open in 1992, located in Bloomsbury, London. A lot has changed since then, especially the prices. It places Wagamama up against some stiff competition at that level. I really struggle to have anything different than Edamame, Salt & Chilli Squid and Beef Chili Ramen. Its been my staple for years! On this occasion I did have something different and was pleased. However, I do think at some stage Wagamama will price themselves out. There are a lot of very good Asian restaurants offering excellent food at more reasonable cost. However, as far as the airport locations go, Wagamama offers a much better option than any of the other eateries, so I hope they stay.

Pretty great tasting food with fresh ingredients. The online payment system with a QR-code didn't work, but when do gimmicks like this actually work. Server was friendly and patient! Noisy and busy atmosphere.

First time having breakfast at Wagamama’s. Different but very enjoyable, and the coffee is pretty descent too. Atmosphere not amazing but it was mainly solo diners. Definitely recommend!

Shortage of mushrooms in London? Poor attempt at Japanese food cramped and over priced

WAGAMAMA in Heathrow t3 was excellent when it comes in costumer service especially Binita was very approachable and kind. You will feel that you are welcome and she suggested some good foods in the menu.

Me and My friend ate in wagamama in the airport and the food there is incredibly awesome. The employees are so accomodating including Binita, she's nice and very helpful to us. Great job.

Pretty bad to be honest. The food was about average hence 3 stars for that. The service was pretty awful. We asked for cutlery 3 times and still only had 1 fork and 2 knives between 2 people. The food arrived in dribs and drabs. I wanted a sausage and bacon sandwich but the toast arrived about 10 minutes before the sausage and then it was another 2 or 3 minutes before the bacon came out. It was really overpriced for average food and poor service. Hence only 1 star for service. The seats are terrible. I get that they want you to move on ASAP but these were really on another level of bad. A hard bench with no backrest and much too tall so it was difficult for your feet to be on the ground.

I had a mixed fruit drink, which was blended on site. It was very nice. The benches aren't comfortable. The waiters were very nice.

A good option for food at the terminal. It was quite busy and we had to wait for 20min to get seated. I can recommend the donburi.

Excellent vegan breakfast! Vegan sausage and bacon very good. And clean, quiet restaurant too.

I was served by Manju, she helped me decide between two dishes and golly she was right. The prawn Firecracker curry is the best, spicy and full of flavors and the prawns were so fresh as well. Thanks to Manju, she made my day.

Great warm food and quick service!

Cool team at T3 wagamamma. Great manager in Andy and everyone else that work there. I have visited a few times and my regulars were remembered, which is nice. Great service from the regular team. Tasty vegetarian & vegan foods and great fresh juices.

Great place for different kinds of asiàn fusion. Fabulous beef ramen noodle and gojujane rice. Actors to different likes for Asian dishes. Reasonable priced. And a comfortable sit down place.

We just wait 5 minutes. The food is not bad. Maybe it’s the only choice in terminal 3.

Even though the restaurant was not that busy, it took a while for us to be seated. Although the waitress who served us was sick and coughing quite badly, she did not really understand personal space and got uncomfortably close to every customer she was serving. Ordered a ginger chicken udon, it was room temperature, not really heated. The chicken was suspiciously pink. Overall the dish was confusing and unsatisfying, contained lots of raw ingredients (such as the coriander, ginger and huge pieces of onion). Lacked flavour. For £15.5 I would definitely not recommend.

My chicken was undercooked and not quite what I expected. Service was fast though and the staff friendly. I just hope I won’t get a stomach ache. Not the best waga I’ve been through although I understand the airport is very busy.

Took 30 minutes for my drink to arrive, and when it arrived it was wrong.The server were eyeing me to see if I noticed the mistake(Yes I noticed ). The table surface were awfully sticky, and the food taste mediocre. Probably the worst wagamama experience I had in UK

On Dec 6th i had an amazing experience at Wagamama in Terminal 3- Heathrow, London. Food is amazing, service is exceptional, cozy atmosphere and the kindest and most thoughtful service personnel and restaurant Manager. I can’t wait to meet you again, guys!

Good ramen to help settle me on long international flights. The service was kind just a bit slow and distracted with all the people. Solid airport food honestly and a large seating area.

We were lucky to get an individual table with a charging station. Food and service were excellent. Everything at T3 is so crowded that even the benches here would be a nice respite. Lovely veggies in the two curries that we tried.

I'm so glad I stopped here while waiting for my gate to be posted. My server was sweet. I was met at the entrance and sat immediately (I traveled alone) due to their open seating layout I was able to make a nee friend while I waited for food which was lovely! The food was so good I didn't want to go and the non alcoholic drinks were well presented and tasty!

Excellence at it’s best in taste, presentation, quality and most of all 1st class staff. Prachi gave me the best seat, Binita engaged with me with lots of laughs, served me and she and the team at the bar, kitchen bent over backwards to all my requests even to make me a smoothie to my specifications. Sam with a smile delivered the delightful meal on time! Am one of those people that changes the menu to my liking.

Very kind and professional staff, especially Pawel and Andrzej. This restaurant is always busy but staff still smiling even when you clearly see they are working under pressure. Food is served quick, always fresh and delicious. Every time when I am flying from T3 Heathrow having Wagamama dish. Highly recommended.

Bland food. Can’t say service was great either. Dismissed by one waitress twice for her to go chat to her other coworkers. And one waiter was very aggressive to my grandma as we were asking how long her dish might take as it was just sitting on the counter. He comes up to her face and shouts ‘OK?’. Very uncalled for as he could’ve just apologised for the wait and moved on.

I’m from Vancouver Canada so I am privileged to have some great ramen and was really craving a bowl on my way home. I had the chilli chicken ramen and prawn nori roll. This place WOULD NOT survive in Vancouver. The nori roll was not crunchy at all. Tasted like it a rice wrap which tells me it’s all pre made. The broth was decent but execution was poor. The noodles were mushy and chicken was bland. All in all I’d try a proper location before I completely write it off but the airport one sucked for a first experience given the great things I’ve heard about it

Fast and friendly service. Staff welcomed us with big smiles. Andrew, one of the team members advised us to try a new range of dishes, which were so yummy. We felt, that we've been well cared for. The quality of the food at Wagamama’s seems to have gone up over the past few years. Great size portion rice bowl (like a Poke bowl) stuffed with tasty veg and spicy chicken. Fast and efficient service. (Not very friendly, but it was efficient). I was very happy with my choice. Tasty.

Amazed on how the little lady leading the seating of guests is very fast while multi tasking. Salute to her and her team. She’s amiable and efficient. Though, we weren’t that happy with the ramen we ordered - pork belly and beef brisket, specially the noodles. We liked the edamame. Will order the spicy squid next time. Seems like a best seller.

Busy chain restaurant but waitressing with a smile despite hectic work

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, and what sets them apart is their exceptional attention to specific dietary needs. Their consideration for dietary requirements is truly commendable. However, I was disheartened to learn that they no longer serve the Chilli Steak Ramen. It was a menu favorite that will be greatly missed. I did feel a bit rushed during my recent visit. Before even settling in, I was asked to order, which was a tad abrupt and made the dining experience feel hurried.

An oasis of calm in hectic Heathrow! Interesting breakfasts and really friendly service.

Had to wait fir a while. Staff member eventually brought us to a table and advised that pushchairs not allowed at tables but didn't shows us where to put it. Suddenly she disappeared without taking our order. Tried to place order online but we didn't know the table number because it wasn't on tables😤 Staff members ignored us until I called a staff member. Food late. Main meal arrived before starters 🙄

Restaurant was really crowded at 8.30am. We had some difficulties getting a table as staff was too busy to show us one. Once we found table service was great and food came fast. Our 11 year old loved her ramen from kids menu.

Good breakfast at Heathrow Airport.

Capital incompetence... First the food was late Wrong meal arrived and had to wait entirely again for chef to prepare. The people next to us also received the wrong food. The manager had a stinking cold. The price was extortionate for a small plate of rice and chicken with bao side... £48!??!?? Wasn't even offered any compensation for the poor service and incorrect meals.

A welcome oasis inside a busy airport. Nevertheless the food and service were just as great as you would expect from any Wagamama. Convenient pay at table option too so you can be on your way.

Excellent experience for airport food

The food was okay, except that the veggies were a bit undercooked, and the rice was soaky with sauce.

This is my all time favourite restaurant in London! The mushroom bao buns are so soft with a rich filling inside. Edamame with garlic & bang bang cauliflower are also just super!! There’s always a really long queue at Wagamama at T3 though. But totally worth the wait!

All a bit rushed but also a bit of a haven amongst the chaos. The food was off the usual Wagamama standard. Waiters were attendant. Great options and fresh food. We got served quickly and the food was very quickly to the table.

Hello Travelers and Foodies!! Heathrow Airport can be really overwhelming, Indeed yes!!! Its big, its crowded. But in this rush what if you have some time to enjoy your meal and you are seriously looking some nice option? Yes, There is one really Amazing restaurant in the Heathrow Airport!!! Restaurant name is WAGAMAMA!!! If you want / Like Asian food and wants to try something new then you will not regret to go in WAGAMAMA!!! Restaurant is in Airport so its always full of people, No wonder!! But we got the place while just 5 minutes of waiting. Staff was very efficient in order to manage table turn. Food we ordered was Chicken Firecracker (Spicy)and Tantamen beef. Quality was Amazing, Taste was also great!!! Waiting time for food was just 3 minutes. Worth to go and try this restaurant!!! Food and Hospitality really made us to enjoy our food and forget how tired we were. Great Staff, Amazing Service, Delicious Food can certainly plus in Heathrow Airport!!! Sincerely, Varun

Not great, not terrible. I had chicken teriyaki donburi. The portion was large, but it was rather plain rice with chicken, carrot and leaves. A kind of a fast food meal but for double price. Wagama at T3 is very busy with focus to serve as much customers as possible.

Food was good as expected but the service was absolutely lovely. I have food allergies and I felt very welcomed and well taken care off regarding that, so I ate my food at ease. Thanks!

Food was decent except the padron peppers. Table numbers seem to be confusing to the waiters. And why are the chairs so tall where your feet can't reach the floor? Not the most comfortable.

Poor food quality, long waiting times and an overpriced menu make this one of the worst locations to get wagamama in the city. I don't recommend this!

IKRA, the person of the day. Worth a stop for good meal, but more then all, We want to recognize IQRA service which was amazing with a perfect knowledge. She fits us a best Vegan salad, out of the menue. Extraordinary team player

Terminal 3 heathrow. Food nice, friendly staff but inefficient, had finished my meal by the time my girlfriends arrived. Good vegan sausage. Chap with the SIA badge was directing the team.

SO good!! Amazing vegetarian option. Gyozas were good too and super fast service.

Decent food but nothing too crazy. Queue can be long during peak hours.

My teriyaki donburi was covered in leaves with dry chicken and non existent teriyaki sauce. They also shepherd you into paying using a QR code that forces you to provide your contact details and an email address. If that happens, request to pay by card.

Rasty food, though they did accidentally give us two sets of bao buns instead of the bao bums and gyoza we actually requested!

Had an excellent meal here. Was served by Alice and she was so attentive, kind and friendly! I asked for her vegetarian recommendations and all were amazing, the vegan ribs particularly. Highly recommend!

Worst Ramen I've ever had, fairly obvious they boil it in batch and you may end up with overcooked noodles with the consistency of wet flour

Stopped here recently for a quick layover at Heathrow. No wait to get seated, but waitress was rude. She literally gave us 1 minute to order and becaue we werent ready, she rolled her eyes, like we were wasting her time. Food was actually pretty good, although you can't add something after she takes your initial order. I would happily spend my money elsewhere, where service is better.

Alice was the most wonderful waitress, really on a different level wrt attention, service and general friendliness! Will eat again at this place.

Arrived with 40min to get breakfast, hadnt arrived when we had to leave. As we were leaving it became ready so ended up pouring it into containers and eating it walking to the gate. Cost £44 for the luxury. Avoid!

Typical airport food. Overpriced, underflavoured, and just not worth it.

Love to eat here as I have been missing the Asian Food for a long time. Sitting on the chair without the back is a bit tired. I would suggest to get the right chair if you want to stay long there to wait for your flight. 😁

Served soggy ramen noodles and charged $3 when I asked for regular water…

This was a great place to eat, airport or not. We got the Spicer firecracker curry with chicken, the chilli squid, and the duck buns, as well as a marg. We were warned about the spiciness of the curry because they thought we could not take it but they didn't know who they were dealing with! We Loved It. It was delicious and with the kick you hope to get when you hear "spicey." However, I will warn you that if you are not used to very spicey foods, get the less spicey option. The duck buns were also very tasty. I do wish there were more duck in it though. The only con was the chilli squid, mostly breading. Easy, fast ordering, service, and payment. Lastly, we got a booth seat which was comfy, I wouldn't have liked the stool/table tops. Would eat here again!

Moldy food in my teriyaki soba dish. Will never return. Felt extremely sick. Disgusting.

First ever Wagamama breakfast - the beans are quite fiery!

Excellent service, very friendly staff and fantastic food. Maria served our table. She has great customer service, pleasing personality, and made great suggestions for our order. Highly Recommend Wagamama at terminal 3 at Heathrow airport.

This location is in an airport so that impacts any restaurant. That having been said, the food was good and the service was solid. We got British breakfast and Japanese omelet, both of which were prepared appropriately. Would recommend.
