Sushi Tokoro is such an understated and wonderful sushi cafe! Having gone to Japan recently, I can attest this is the best quality sushi I've had in London, and the same quality as the sushi I've eaten in Japan. Great quality, always friendly, and now my regular spot for sushi in London.

Best sushi in Hampstead! We order every week. Fresh, succulent. The chef worked at Nobu before, he brought all his talent with him plus the passion of a family run place.

Absolutely delicious sushi. A hidden gem with very friendly chefs. You can buy the ready-prepared trays or order from the menu and have them prepare it for you then and there. There are a few tables or you can takeaway.

¡Definitivamente vamos a volver!

It's a small and down to earth place but I think the sushi is amongst the best in London. The chef takes deep pride in what he does and extra care with his food - making tamago omelette himself rather than buying it ready made, for example.

If you like local businesses and want to support a local endeavor - this is the place to go. Ikram (chef and owner) is a lovely guy who opened this based with the encouragement of his kids, after working for years as a sushi chef. He is getting top fish from all the suppliers of the high end restaurants, and his wife is making all kind of gyoza and salads. The prices are probably 15-20% less than neighbouring good places such as Atari-Ya and Maguro, and the quality is much better than Feng Sushi. Really suggest you give him a try, it's a tiny place but takeaway is always a good option!

A friend told us about this place earlier this year, we visited in April and we have been returning weekly since then. The quality of the fish is top notch, there is a great selection to choose from and it is just delicious. Service is warm and friendly and it is a wonderful neighbourhood cafe. We will be loyal customers for a long time to come!

This is a hidden gem in West Hampstead - absolutely delicious, fresh fish and perfectly seasoned rice. The portions of fish are generous and the quality is brilliant. Every time I’ve been in the chef has a beaming smile for us. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Sushi is good, fresh and well prepared. What makes the difference is the staff: they are always super kind and with a nice smile welcoming you. If you order to take away, they offer to you a cup of warm green tea while you’re waiting. If you have a special request, out of the menu, he will try to prepare it. It’s small but is really nice

When you go inside a Japanese Restaurant you will never expect a non-asian sushi chef preparing sushi for you! Well, you should try it! The sushi in this place is very well prepared, with fresh delicious ingredients. They also sell Asian products and take away. Small place, calm, perfect for sushilovers

If you’re in the mood for small plates—emphasis on small—this spot delivers flavorful, elevated bites just a stone’s throw from the British Museum. We tried the yellowtail French tacos and the lentil ones—both packed with taste. The chorizo was a standout, and the sides rounded things out nicely. Portions are definitely on the modest side, so keep that in mind if you’re hungry. But for a quick, stylish lunch with bold flavors and a modern vibe, it’s a great choice. Highly recommended for a quality meal in a convenient location.

This is a very good Japanese restaurant in London. I went there with my friends to try Japanese for the first time. We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait. Staff was super friendly especially the lady who helped us cook the food. She told us about the origin of the dish we had. It's quite interesting when the cook the food in front of you and give you all the information about it. I had their Okonami yaki, Matcha ice cream, friend tofu, rice and sencha. Everything was flavourful. Sencha was so good that I went to Japan Center afterwards and ended up buying 2 packs of sencha.

Brillante barrio japonés. Entrantes, Mains y desierto Mochi todo genial. A un precio razonable y se puede ver a los chefs cocinar. Una gran experiencia.
