Bloomsbury Street Kitchen in Camden

Interesting mix of Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. Service a bit distracted , we needed to call the waiter to get attention a few times. Dishes came without a coherent flow, some arrived very late and bread at the end. Parmesan on raw fish is a no no… too strong the cheese flavour on delicate fish. Tuna strips and tempura prawns were delicious. Seating low and quite uncomfortably. This, like many other places in London, is charging premium price for average service.

10s across the board! If you haven’t been yet, then PLEASE, do yourself a favour! Anton & Dimi are amazing. The do everything with such ease and nothing is too much trouble. I’d never been before so the process was explained clearly, both had great recommendations, annoyingly didn’t take pictures of the food I was so ready to tuck in! The aubergine with the mayo, filo prawns and courgette dishes had everything I never knew I needed so badly! The controls are strong and really well presented! We sat in the window near the DJ & it wasn’t super loud or intrusive to the meal and the atmosphere. Thank you again for an amazing evening!

Top class service from Anton & Dimi, made me feel like a VIP! Lovely atmosphere & beautiful restaurant! We stopped for cocktails & starters, I had the filo prawns served with wasabi mayonnaise which was so delicate & beautiful presented! So looking forward to coming back sometime, I can highly recommend.

We have been here 3 times in a year and a half. The restaurant is beautiful, the vibe is incredible, the music is so awesome, the food is 10/10, the service is phenomenal, and the value for money is spot on. Highly recommend. See you again soon!

We had a great lunch. Many distinctive small and delicious plates. Big thanks to Hadiyah both for helping us through the menu and understanding my wife's lactose intolerance.

The place seems to be part of Raddison Blu, (cloakroom ticket and transaction comes up under its name). The place looks nice, we went without reservation and were offered seats at the counter which we thought should be ok for a quick bite before cinema. The host was not friendly, the waiter was friendly, but mixed up the order and was insisting it was ours 😂. And there should be a way to make a note who have ordered what. There were five people, three different groups at the counter, firstly the plates were coming one by one with 10-15 min intervals, instead of starters coming together, mains together. With every plate they would stand at the end of the counter and shout the name of the dish to all three groups and you would see multiple raised hands and confused people, as some have ordered the same thing. The food was delicious (seared beef tacos, crispy Parmesan spheres with escargo, grilled salmon, beef fillet with Gorgonzola) , however the service needs improvement.

A wonderful dining experience. The escargots in spheres were excellent as was the beef & Bleu cheese tacos. The entrees of seafood risotto Crab boucatini were exceptional. Shaun was very efficient and professional. Will always be on my list to return.

Went for the 'pre-theatre' menu (very reasonable) with a 9-person group. I had the prawn starter with wasabi mayonnaise - Japanese fusion style - absolutely delicious. For main, had the cod in tomato consommé, which was a good healthy option. The table shared bread and 3 sides.. the broccoli in chilli was quite hot, I heard. The beans with parmasan was very tasty and the cucumber dish was refreshing. The deserts looked great, but did not have any. It was a perfect venue and sound level to be able to chat as a group and hear each other. No loud music. The service was excellent. It's the restaurant in the Radisson Blu hotel. Nice touch was that there was a manned cloakroom to take our coats and larger bags when we arrived.

Couldn’t really understand the price point of this restaurant. Not the quality of food. Not the quantity of the food. Not the atmosphere. Happy to have tried for myself, but can’t afford to 18£ for 100kcal of sashimi ever again

We went here for the set menu dinner and unfortunately were disappointed. The service has much to improve on—the server was curt and unfriendly, and dishes took a long time to arrive. The starter and dessert were good, but the mains (the cod and the rigatoni) were far too salty, and the rigatoni sauce was overly oily. After informing the kitchen that we found the mains too salty, we were simply told "it's supposed to taste like that". They also gave us the wrong bill initially charging us more than we ordered. Will not be returning.

Honestly I loved everything about this place. Food was fantastic and really nice atmosphere in there, went for dinner before theatre show and everything was top tier!

Food was ok. The beef was good but the fish is just bitter with the burns. I know it’s grilled fish but it’s really not good. Fish is rather tasteless.

The ideea of the restaurant is more like for like tapas style. They also recommend to order food to share, not individually as they bring the food as they cooked.

From the name of it, I thought it was a casual dinning. I’m so glad it was not. Hibachi chicken was excellent. Oyster, green bean salad, desserts and tea exceeded expectations. I was a bit disappointed with cod. I will go back again.

Nice place with a particular menu. The portions are a little small and the service needs improvement. The girl who took the order leaned against the stroller where our son was sleeping as if she were drinking a cocktail at a bar table. The wine arrived after the food.

From start to finish, our lunch at the Bloomsbury was amazing. Service was second to none and food was sublime. Wine menu was excellent and not unreasonably priced for London. All in all a first rate experience!

We dined here last night after seeing the great reviews. The restaurant is beautiful and our meal was made particularly memorable by our host Anton, who was attentive and made several fantastic recommendations regarding food and drinks we would enjoy. It was one of our favourite meals out ever. We will return.

The place is objectively pleasant. Aesthetically fresh clean elegant. Soft music and relaxation. Very nice, tasty and original dishes. It makes you want to return.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere and attention for details. Menu with several choices from Mediterranean to Japanese. The level of the dishes is very high, tasty and accurate in their presentation. Anton is great for listening and suggesting appropriate combination of dishes and for making you fill acquainted. Prices in line with the quality proposed. Really suggested.

We ate from the set menu because we couldn’t decide what to have from the a la carte. All the food was presented nicely, very tasty and timely. The waiting staff were very pleasant and attentive without being in your face. The restaurant is very clean and bright, lovely vibe and comfortable seating. We really enjoyed our pre theatre lunch and celebration of 2 graduations and a birthday which Haydiyah picked up on and then we had lovely celebration small plates with a macaroon. I would definitely recommend and go back

Japanese and Mediterranean small plates which is such a fun concept. Good for a bigger group as can get different dishes to try and share, a bit like tapas. All the staff were attentive, including small things like constantly filling up our water glasses which was much appreciated.

Randomly chose this place for dinner on our first night in London and it may have been one of the best, if not the best, decisions of the trip! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff super friendly. I would definitely visit again next time I’m in the city.

We went after my daughter’s graduation. We were so impressed with how friendly and professional the service was. Food was lovely, loved everything I chose. Overall the meal was very nicely paced. Really happy with our choice and handy for the train home!

We were looking for a restaurant with good reviews about meat food at the area .we finally chose Bloomsbury restaurant since the reviews and the photos were great .at the time we entered our welcome was so professional and friendly from Dimitris .he sitted us to our table .we ordered 5 plates for 2 people .after we tasted the first dishes,we had to order some more . everything was so tasty .we really enjoyed the food . especially the beef ponzu and the salmon.great experience overall.we will definitely visit .

I believe this is the best food experience I have ever had. Excellent service provided by Leo. He talked us through everything and gave us his recommendations for both food and drinks. I especially enjoyed the seafood risotto. I also recommend ordering bread when you order the king prawns (to dip it in the oil). Amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant!

A must go to restaurant in London. We all had the set menu and the dishes were delicious. Looking forward to the next meal in this restaurant. If you like beef, you must order Beef Tataki ! The yoghurt and white chocolate cheesecake, is to die for!

PERFECT! The food was delicious, made of good ingredients and delicious recipes. The decor is welcoming and modern, the space was split into smaller rooms giving a cozier and exclusive feeling, there was enough space between the tables. The service was professional, always there when we needed to add to our order, yet discreet.

A single serve was the perfect portion size for a late lunch. Not too much that it would spoil your appetite for dinner. Small dishes, delicious and beautifully presented. The price was not what I was expecting - I thought I was reasonable for the quality that I was getting! I have been eating at franchises around London for the past several days (pizza, pasta, pubs, cafes... following young 20y.o. daughters' palate) and those premises were costing me more! My pot of tea here was the same price I paid for a glass of hot water with a side of tea bag.....

Wow! Wow! Wow! I thought it would be good but it exceeded even those expectations. It had been ages since a central London restaurant got me excited like this again. Quick overview: small plates, delicious food, you pay for the quality, won’t be disappointed. Between us (one meat, one vegetarian), knowing they were sharing tapas style plates, we decided to order 4 plates between us. They said it will come out when ready but still served it like starters and mains. We ordered: STARTERS Patatas Bravas (V) 10/10 Ahhhh there were bang bang!!! I wasn’t expecting much but when they turned up they looked as amazing as they tasted.Thin, long, crispy and salty with a great aioli dip. Filo Prawns 8/10 Saw the people next to me have these and had to ask which ones they were on the menu. Again, they looked as delicious as they tasted. Never had prawns in this style aside from tempura but this was like a thin crispy pastry wrapping. It tasted amazing and had a great crunch. MAINS: Roasted Aubergine 8/10 We were in two minds about ordering this or the gnocchi but really glad we tried this. Turned up looking well presented. Good texture and nice glaze. Black Pepper Vegetarian Chicken 9/10 Really tasty and loved the peppery flavour. The mock meat used was a great consistency as well - not too chewy. We did expect these two plates to be slightly larger portion sizes than they were (especially after seeing the pasta portion sizes and the prices). Overall a really great meal and a super nice ambience too! Would deffo recommend.

That's the best restaurant for fusion cuisine. They really have to increase triple their prices. The food quality, presentation, and service are beyond average.

The best steak tartar I've ever had. I also got the gnocchi which was tender, fluffy and perfectly cooked. The service was impeccable. The bartender was great and was so interested that our drinks were correct that he came to the table to check. I enjoyed it so much that when my daughter came in town the next day, I took her. She was equally impressed!

This was my second time at the restaurant and the food was amazing just like the first time, steaks was cooked the way we asked and beef tartare very tasty.

The Bloomsbury restaurant offers a pre-theatre menu at £28 for three courses, an attractive offer for those looking to combine a quality meal with a cultural outing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed professional service throughout our meal. The starters lived up to our expectations, both delicious and generous in portion. However, we were disappointed by the lack of sides with the main courses. The chicken offered had only two pieces without any accompaniments, while the cod was also served without accompaniments. However, the pasta and gnocchi were a treat to the taste buds, offering rich and savory flavors. Fortunately, the desserts raised the level of our experience. They were delicious and ended our evening on a pleasant note. In summary, although the service and hospitality were impeccable, the dining experience at Bloomsbury Restaurant was mixed due to the lack of accompaniments with some dishes. Despite this, the starters and desserts were quality, which helped make our evening enjoyable overall. Rating: 7/10

Sensational food. Tastes at a high level with great quality. Bloomsbury Street Kitchen is a kind of modern tapas restaurant. Here you can choose between Mediterranean and Asian tapas or simply mix and match according to your mood. The service was strong at the beginning, but unfortunately dropped off after 10 minutes as the place became a little more crowded. The location itself, very modern and stylishly chic. The price-performance ratio is right here. We would love to come back 👍🏽

They canceled our “confirmed” reservation by email 3 hours prior to the time during a busy Easter week. No call, no text. Made it difficult to get a reservation elsewhere. That’s just not cool when you have already planned a busy schedule.

We recently went here as a group of 12 for a birthday and got the £50 set menu. The service was really amazing. We really enjoyed the food. Perhaps felt the menu could have done with some small sides to go with the "main" dishes of chicken and fish. I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

This is a unique place in London to have food nowhere else serves you. The music though, struck me as too loud to too fast paced for a meal that I wanted to be relaxed and slow. Fabin was a brilliant mc, the service is immediate and delicious. The location is elegant and sofisticated, yet functional and simplistic. A great experience to have not only for birthdays.
