We tried the yellowtail French tacos and the lentil ones—both packed with taste. The chorizo was a standout, and the sides rounded things out nicely. Portions are definitely on the modest side, so keep that in mind if you’re hungry. But for a quick, stylish lunch with bold flavors and a modern vibe, it’s a great choice. Highly recommended for a quality meal in a convenient location.

I didn’t know, the restaurant’s name led me think it’s British cuisine but the server explained to us it’s Mediterranean and Japanese, still didn’t think much of it looking at the menu, Japanese words sprinkled until the beef tataki, well- seasoned and good size portion. Chilli flamed broccoli stem is spicy with a nice kick. Charcoal grilled chicken pretty authentic Japanese . Food may be on the spicy side. If you go to the restaurant through the hotel, it felt really fancy but the staff ( Nishchay, Christian, Saviosh ) is actually friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere for conversations bonding with friends over 2 cuisines. Definitely will meet friends here again.

While conveniently located and offering lots of space inside , the food just wasn't great and the service was out of place. The DJ looked awkward in an empty restaurant.

I booked a table for an early dinner for a work group of 12 people. The staff were very helpful from the reservation booking, advance order of the food and service on the night. They were particularly helpful for the member of the group with coeliac. Lovely food with a nice ambience.

We had an unforgettable evening at the restaurant, and a huge part of that was thanks to Christian. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He recommended the perfect wine to pair with our meal and made us feel completely taken care of. We’ll definitely be back – and we’ll be asking for Christian again!

As international visitors staying nearby in Bloomsbury we have visited here a few times, for coffee and once an evening meal when we were served by Nisha. Nisha was very knowledgeable, attentive and interested in us. Being shown extra attention when a long way from home is really appreciated. We found Nisha to be extra good at her role. We wish her well in her work life.

This restaurant is really good and managed beautifully by Bindu, Andrea, Frank, M.J, Hadijah, Emese, Santosh and others behind the scenes. The people who work there and their kindness made it a memorable experience.

Oh my God! ! ! Such a delicious restaurant only has 4.5 points... It's okay, I'll change it! Bloomsbury Street Kitchen is simply the most delicious restaurant I have ever eaten at in London, bar none. Every dish is amazing, my favorites include their French taco and crab pasta, which are so delicious! ! ! And this hotel is next to the British Museum, which is very convenient. As a tourist, you can come here to try it after visiting the museum. If you are in London, you must visit this restaurant, so don’t miss it! You will definitely not regret it!

I was so disappointed it had all the makings of being a great experience but a few things let it down. All the food we did receive was lovely and a great quality however there were 2 missing items which then spoilt everything as the meal was incomplete. Not sure how they got the order so wrong when we were the only customers in the whole restaurant. Also the service was extremely rushed a three course meal only took about 40 mins. We had several different people serve us which contributed to the confusion and rush. We did ask for the service charge to be removed which is not something I would normally dream of but as we were so disappointed. Ended up paying £70 for two to have an incomplete meal and left hungry. Unfortunately would not return. The staff were very apologetic.

Small plates restaurant attached to the Radisson blu hotel in Bloomsbury. Good concept a bit complicated. Some dishes were really small . Food all came out at different times so we all had to eat separately which wasn't what we had hoped for. Food was delicious. Would recommend two or three plates per person. Didn't feel full at the end after two plates each. Would possibly recommend the set menus as more value for money, which apparently have to be booked in advance.

What superb atmosphere, service, food and well, everything. Sadly was on own on business when I stumbled across this restaurant. Superb in house dj playing a mix of tunes that kept my foot tapping and many from my era! The food was creative and so tasty. Tapas means you can mix and match what you like. Thanks Bindu for guiding me through the menu and making some recommendations. Will be back with friends and family. What a find.

Totally loved the food. Orange crème brûlée is amazing. Yellowish tartare taco definitely recommended. Crab pasta is also so good. I love steak tartare but is was a bit salty. In general expect desserts all the food were salty but I loved them. Service is quite nice. And weekend night there is a dj. Maybe Friday and Saturday not sure but you can ask.

Delightful breakfast experience to seize the day! I was staying at the hotel for three nights and my best experience there happened in the mornings at this restaurant. Staff was polite to me, very easy going. Perhaps they sensed that my vacation was not going as planned so they strived for making my breakfasts memorable. Sachin, Hassina y Asmita helped me all the way with my runny eggs and coffee requests. I am grateful for their service.

Absolutely loved this place. The Asian med fusion goes so well together. Entry fish was exquisite, from the filo prawns to the salmon and the cheesecake. Service was lovely and you felt comfortable in the atmosphere whether dressed up or down. My mocktail was delicious!

Bloomsbury Street Kitchen offers intriguing tapas and larger dishes that fuse surprisingly complementary cuisines--Mediterranean, Japanese and even Mexican. Thus my 'French' tacos combined yellowtail sashimi with a spot of caviar and dusting of truffle under a blanket of Parmesan gratings and citrus in a crisp corn shell. So delicious, when you finish, your first thought will be 'more'! A cabbage steak drenched in olive oil, jalapeno and (again) truffle might have been the tastiest cabbage I've ever eaten or even imagined. The staff has the easy confidence of talented and experienced people servers--with a call out to Anton, the manager and Annie, my waitress, who made me feel like I was the only person in the restaurant. I sat at the cook's counter and learned a bit about slicing sashimi as I ate. What a great evening. Who'd have thought that among the pizza and fast-food shacks near the British Museum you could find a foodie's paradise at a reasonable cost?

Coming from the Netherlands, my wife and I had diner here on November 30 2024. The food was very good (a.o. Spanish prawns, roasted cod, baby chicken), but the main reason for writing this review is to thank the receptionist and the waitress (Hadiyah) for rendering such friendly and excellent service during the evening.

Every dish extremely is salty,food is overated.Service was poor and pretentious especially the male waiters.

Deceptive advertising! We decided on this restaurant in part due to an ad that read “20% off, Groups of 4 or less”. When the check came and we asked for the discount, we were told that it applies only to online reservations. First, they could have told us when we walked in, considering that there is a huge sign right at the entrance. Second, that the manager wouldn’t approve it even after pointing out that their ad does not say that an online reservation is required, is plain bad service. The food is good but too expensive. If we had known they were going to deny us the 20% off, we would have gone elsewhere.

The food is top quality and you can tell that the restaurant uses very good quality ingredients. However, the prices are high and due to the tapas ethos you need to order more than one dish. This in itself is not a problem, but given the prices I would expect the food to arrive at the same time, not ‘as it is ready’. The service was attentive but there is no excuse for food coming out at different times when you are paying fine dining prices.

I came here with my daughter in August, we didn't know where to go for dinner and my daughter found this place, wonderful! The food is delicious and the staff is very kind and friendly. If we return to London we will not hesitate to return🥰🫶

Beautiful setting and delicious food! We went for our work Christmas Dinner and there was a great selection for everyone! Bindu and Hadiyah were great. They suggested we shared food and it was the right suggestion because everything was flavoursome and the sauce for the prawns and pasta was mouthwatering. 10/10 to the chefs. I can’t wait to visit again.

Still an excellent choice, avoiding a large number of tourist traps around the British Museum, but really needs an extra pair of hands at the bar.

Interesting mix of Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. Service a bit distracted , we needed to call the waiter to get attention a few times. Dishes came without a coherent flow, some arrived very late and bread at the end. Parmesan on raw fish is a no no… too strong the cheese flavour on delicate fish. Tuna strips and tempura prawns were delicious. Seating low and quite uncomfortably. This, like many other places in London, is charging premium price for average service.

10s across the board! If you haven’t been yet, then PLEASE, do yourself a favour! Anton & Dimi are amazing. The do everything with such ease and nothing is too much trouble. I’d never been before so the process was explained clearly, both had great recommendations, annoyingly didn’t take pictures of the food I was so ready to tuck in! The aubergine with the mayo, filo prawns and courgette dishes had everything I never knew I needed so badly! The controls are strong and really well presented! We sat in the window near the DJ & it wasn’t super loud or intrusive to the meal and the atmosphere. Thank you again for an amazing evening!

We stopped for cocktails & starters, I had the filo prawns served with wasabi mayonnaise which was so delicate & beautiful presented! The place seems to be part of Raddison Blu, (cloakroom ticket and transaction comes up under its name). The place looks nice, we went without reservation and were offered seats at the counter which we thought should be ok for a quick bite before cinema. The host was not friendly, the waiter was friendly, but mixed up the order and was insisting it was ours 😂. And there should be a way to make a note who have ordered what. There were five people, three different groups at the counter, firstly the plates were coming one by one with 10-15 min intervals, instead of starters coming together, mains together. With every plate they would stand at the end of the counter and shout the name of the dish to all three groups and you would see multiple raised hands and confused people, as some have ordered the same thing. The food was delicious (seared beef tacos, crispy Parmesan spheres with escargo, grilled salmon, beef fillet with Gorgonzola) , however the service needs improvement.

A wonderful dining experience. The escargots in spheres were excellent as was the beef & Bleu cheese tacos. The entrees of seafood risotto Crab boucatini were exceptional. Shaun was very efficient and professional. Will always be on my list to return.

Went for the 'pre-theatre' menu (very reasonable) with a 9-person group. I had the prawn starter with wasabi mayonnaise - Japanese fusion style - absolutely delicious. For main, had the cod in tomato consommé, which was a good healthy option. The table shared bread and 3 sides.. the broccoli in chilli was quite hot, I heard. The beans with parmasan was very tasty and the cucumber dish was refreshing. The deserts looked great, but did not have any. It was a perfect venue and sound level to be able to chat as a group and hear each other. No loud music. The service was excellent. It's the restaurant in the Radisson Blu hotel. Nice touch was that there was a manned cloakroom to take our coats and larger bags when we arrived.

Couldn’t really understand the price point of this restaurant. Not the quality of food. Not the quantity of the food. Not the atmosphere. Happy to have tried for myself, but can’t afford to 18£ for 100kcal of sashimi ever again

We went here for the set menu dinner and unfortunately were disappointed. The service has much to improve on—the server was curt and unfriendly, and dishes took a long time to arrive. The starter and dessert were good, but the mains (the cod and the rigatoni) were far too salty, and the rigatoni sauce was overly oily. After informing the kitchen that we found the mains too salty, we were simply told "it's supposed to taste like that". They also gave us the wrong bill initially charging us more than we ordered. Will not be returning.

Honestly I loved everything about this place. Food was fantastic and really nice atmosphere in there, went for dinner before theatre show and everything was top tier!

Food was ok. The beef was good but the fish is just bitter with the burns. I know it’s grilled fish but it’s really not good. Fish is rather tasteless.
