The best restaurants serving Italian food in Mid Wales

Ordered 30 delicious pizzas for a group, and they did not disappoint! Every pizza was fresh, flavorful, and arrived hot. The staff was incredibly accommodating and provided excellent service throughout the process. Great value for such high-quality food. Highly recommend for any event or gathering!

This place is just LOVELY. I want to live here. The cosy and snug interior, the unbelievably helpful and friendly people who work here. The FOOOOOD. My friend and I both had the burrata and plum jam, plus delicious garlic bread. SO yummy and simple. Thank you dear Daphnes team, we'll be back soon. p.s. I live near Leominster and I know people who drive 1/2 an hour to get your takeaway pizzas :)

We visited Little Italy whilst on a weekend trip to Aberystwyth. The food was delicious, particularly the steak with garlic sauce! Atmosphere was nice, with every table filled, however not too loud or overcrowded. The service on the food was quite slow, with the main meals taking 1hr 10mins to arrive, however as mentioned it was very busy, so understandable. The service staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you for a lovely meal!

The food was excellent and the service was 5 star. It's well worth a visit.

This is a little gem of an independent restaurant in Newtown which otherwise doesn't have a huge choice in terms of evening dining. It's certainly got its own unique charm and is a bit quirky but the service was with a smile, the food was spot on and a lovely meal.

Lovely evening with friends great food reasonably priced, the bruscheta was especially good best we ve ever tasted. I recommend highly a favourite place to eat.

We had lunch. It was nice but the staff were terribly badly dressed. Man at bar was in loudly coloured rugby shirt and person who brought the food was in too short shorts, thick, hairy legs and trainers. Please smarten yourselves up. It looked very unprofessional. Long trousers and a proper, smarter shirt or polo shirt, please. I noticed this is supposed to be 5 star. You need to maintain certain standards in all aspects.

This little gem of a restaurant is in the back of beyond - right down a virtual farm track, but is worth hunting out. I had lunch there with my sister and my father, and it was just a delight. Sadly, we were the only diners in for this lunchtime, but out of season I guess that's how it goes. I started with calamari and they were perfect. My main course was a spicy Salcissi sausage in a chilli and tomato sauce and served on a bed of Penne pasta. Absolutely wonderful and with a real kick to it. Our wine was a crisp and dry New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The staff were all friendly, helpful, cheerful and chatty and made us feel very special. If you're in the area and like well cooked and presented Italian food it really is worth firing up your sat nav and finding this place.

We visited this restaurant last night. We arrived and had the jovial waiter. We placed our order for the food and for the wine and a non alcoholic beer. The starter arrived lots of Olives but no balsamic vinegar. The starters went and then came the main meal, still no wine or drinks arrived. Then another waitress asked if we would like a drink and we said we had ordered wine, I will chase it, it still never came. Then the waiter came over asking if we would like to order some drinks, we said we had he said what and we said no 8 for the wine, we were told it was out of stock, so we had another choice. The res wine eventually arrived cold. The steak was not cooked how I had asked, covered in a gravy and I asked for a steak knife and the waiter just changed one knife for another the same. I did ask the waiter what was the gravy and he had no idea

Fantastic welcome, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Appalling delivery was over an hour and a half late food was cold had to keep my little sister up till past 12am she is only 9 and was very tired and very hungry absolutely Appalling and will never be ordering from them again just finished the edible bits of the meal (meal deal 6 and extra garlic mushrooms) the food was vile and we both could only eat our burgers I'm not happy at all
