Lovely food and great service. Would highly recommend

Awful food. Lousy overcooked seabass seved with a few overcooked peppers and Courgettes. And about 2 pieces of chorizo. Despite being overcooked, they couldn't manage crispy skin. Dreadful overpriced rubbish.

Stopped by for a meal. Had an ok pasta dish and a couple of beer. Found beer and wine prices a bit high. Quality of food was good.

Excellent restaurant. It's rare to find a genuinely good restaurant for a reasonable price in the UK. Apologies to the Brits, but you just can't live on fish and chips or burgers all the time. 😉 I was extremely satisfied, and if I get the chance, I'll definitely stop by again.

We visited here when on holiday in the area. The place was spotlessly clean and provided a nice environment to eat. Staff were very professional, friendly and appropriately attentive. The food was amazing, the best Italian food I have eaten outside of Italy. The ingredients were clearly very fresh and high quality and put together by someone who knows how to maximise flavour. Couldn’t recommend more highly. My only regret is we don’t live close enough to visit on a regular basis.

Overall fantastic. Staff friendly and welcoming. Restaurant spotlessly clean and comfortable. Prawn starter, amazing sauce and cooked to perfection. Pancetta spaghetti amazing and Ricotta and spinach ravioli also amazing. All 3 sauces different flavors and obviously cooked fresh. Garlic bread was perfect, crispy yet soft. Best Italian food in UK I have ever had. The chef and team here know their stuff! Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend you dine here.

Wow. What a welcome we had. Amazing, friendly and super happy staff. We couldn’t have asked for better service. My 6 year old daughter was treated like a princess and this is now her favourite restaurant. The lady went above and beyond for us all and really made my daughter feel special. (Her smile alone was free therapy!!) Outstanding service from all. (Even the two young ladies working tonight were very attentive and friendly) The food was top-notch and very enjoyable & tasty. The portion sizes were huge I would HIGHLY recommend FABRIZIO’S!

Just tried the new Fabrizo Buttington breakfast on Sunday mornings. Absolute perfection. This is my third visit since they introduced breakfasts on 18 February. Can’t be beaten locally for taste, location & service.

The BEST Italian restaurant by far for miles around , what a Gem 💎 We were politely welcomed and shown to our table. Drinks arrived, and we were informed of the specials for the evening, which sounded delightful. The food arrived promptly and was really amazing!! The service was excellent and without delay. I can not fault this place , we will most definitely return, and we live an hour away, lol I definitely recommend this place its 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Booked on the basis of good reviews but got the worst italian meal I ever had (and one of the worst meals in general). Rubbery pizza with the cheapest olives and (not italian) ham as topping. Big lumps of gravy granules in the stroganoff. Very limited menu to choose from. Service was generally good (even though tge waitress knocked over our glass of beer). PS I am italian and cannot believe they won awards!

We called in on our way to a wedding weekender and we're so glad we did. I had a bit of a jippy tummy and the chef very kindly made me some linguine with olive oil and garlic which honestly made my day. My partner had the bacon pasta and he wolfed it down. Great little place and very reasonably priced too.

By far the best Italian I've had in years. Can't show you my food and the carbonara and tortellini were to good the leave alone while hot.....it's on a busy road heading into Wales. For god sake STOP and have a meal.

Great Italian food all cooked by Fabrizio himself (I asked), super smiley waitress too. We ate outside as we had our dog with us. The restaurant has just won The Best Italian Restaurant in Wales award. They are on the main Welshpool to Shrewsbury road and I said they should have a banner on the roadside proclaiming this as it is very much an accolade to be shouted. Very well deserved.

If we could rate higher than 5 stars we would!! We found this restaurant by chance and what a find. The online booking system indicated that we might be out of luck on a Saturday night, but a cheeky phone call just before opening time and they graciously fitted us in. Advance booking is therefore recommended. Don't expect "fast" food as it is all cooked fresh, to order. However, this was clearly explained, expectation set and the food was definitely worth a reasonable wait for. Delicious, fresh and flavoursome food duly arrived as promised. A small but professional serving team provided, polite, attentive & well managed service. We can't wait for our next visit!!

Having eaten a lot of Italian meals , many in Italy , the meal we had tonight was one of the best I have ever eaten ! The staff were lovely and very welcoming . The meal was excellent value as well as being delicious. All 4 of us had different dishes and each one was excellent !

When I travel I try to stick to local cuisine, but my daughter was wanting something different. What a surprise to find this lovely restaurant. Everything was great. The pate was worth the trip. My only complaint is not enough bread for the pate, but they were happy to bring out more.

Following a recent medical episode whilst driving past Fabrizio’s, I needed to pull my car off the road and used their car park whilst waiting for an ambulance to arrive. I was taken to hospital and needed to leave my car in their car park overnight. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful! I returned for my car the following day, went in to thank the staff and ended up meeting the whole team who asked how I was feeling now! Amazing compassionate people, truly humbled by your kindness. I WILL be returning with family to sample some of your beautiful food in the near future.

Fabrizio's is an asset to the Welshpool area. I booked online using the website, which was quick and easy. We received a warm welcome and were attentively looked after all night. The menu has plenty of choice without being overwhelming - the sort of well thought out menu where each dish sounds amazing and authentically Italian. The food itself was exceptional. Delicious and perfect portion size. We were so impressed with our visit and will definitely be returning in the near future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fabrizio's to all my family and friends.

Visited for the first time last month and was extremely impressed with the food, service and ambience. On the strength of that visit we booked for Christmas Day dinner which we’ve just returned from. Excellent once again, so it was not a flash in the pan. Food was perfect, piping hot, super fresh and delicious. I normally complain about portion sizes at restaurants. My only complaint was it was probably too much! Staff are brilliant as well and so friendly. My wife is extremely fussy and she couldn’t find fault anywhere, you can’t really get a better review than that. Credit where credits due. We’ve just booked for a birthday meal next month. I wanted to book for next Christmas Day but was told it’s too soon to do so. I’ll definitely be putting a reservation in as soon as I’m able to do so. Please support this local restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Me and my friend went to Fabrizio’s for dinner and the food was very lovely, I had a antipasto and a pizza which both tasted delightful, and other friends tried other foods too, highly recommend

A bustling, welcoming restaurant with plenty of free parking and probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It was very busy when we arrived so service was a little slow. The decor is modern, warm and comfortable. Staff looked a bit stressed but they were busy and actually very friendly once we chatted and things calmed down a bit later on. The food was really tasty and the pizzas (delicious pizza base) were wonderful. Portions were plenty so sadly no room for desserts on this occasion, though they looked delicious. A very nice place to eat and informal meal out. It’s lit well at night so easy to find and there is a large car park, which makes everything easy.

Me and my Wife had an awesome time here the food was outstanding, the steak was the best i'd had for a long time, My Wifes Tagliatelle Porcini was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Great service very friendly and helpful, just what you wont. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Very convenient stop in Buttington, just off the main road between Shrewsbury and Welshpool, with free parking. I had the pate followed by pizza. Both were great. Nice to sit down and relax (you could read /study too). Level walking from the car park and spacious loos. These had hand rails for the less steady on their feet.

Overrated place. The food is average, nothing special. Average food, average place, not average prices.

Passed this restaurant on our way to a holiday let. Booked a table for my husbands birthday. Booked early as a hot tub was awaiting us back at the rental. It was quiet when arrived but picked up with a nice atmosphere, to say it was a Monday that is good. The maitre d was an absolutely lovely lady and made the place so inviting. We kept it simple with pizzas but simple cannot describe what we ate. The flavours were intense and simply stunning! The best pizza, not just in Wales but in the UK! I have eaten many pizzas in Italy and this may also be the best I have had. Top rated for a great place to eat but also reasonably priced. Thank you kindly.

Brilliant food! Tasty, fresh, great portion size - a very enjoyable meal. We (2 adults, 2 children) had a lovely 3 course meal on a Friday lunchtime. The staff were super friendly and it was some of the best, freshest Italian food I have ever had.

Can't fault the food and the service. If pasta not your thing they do the best steak and chips. Would benefit from a separate area devoted to families with young children imho.

We popped into Fabrizios on a Saturday evening as we drove past. And I’m glad they could fit us in! Food and service was outstanding. A truly deserving 5 out of 5 for this place. My wife had the Salt and Pepper Prawn special, whilst I had the garlic bread. Literally the best Garlic Bread I’ve had for a while! We both had the Stroganoff (photo wouldn’t upload) and really enjoyed it. Very generous portions. Would definitely recommend and revisit

We had a lovely meal here on Tuesday afternoon with my parents the food was amazing the lady who severed us was lovely and helpful nothing was to much trouble. I'm sure when are visiting my parents next, we will be back.

Chanced upon Fabrizios while looking for a meal after driving round Welshpool in the aftermath of storm Babet. All four of us had a really nice meal. Good service from a very friendly waitress.

Stopped on a very wet Friday afternoon and was so happy we did! Food was fabulous and service great. Very easy to see how Fabrizio's was recently voted best Italian restaurant in Wales 2023. Like forward to returning soon.

Really nice place, can imagine would be a lovely place to go for a romantic evening. We had the lunch menu. The starter was delicious, I think it was garlic bread with toms. Then for lunch we had the Meatballs and spaghetti. It was nice but we both felt there could have been more taste added to it. But we would go back as we would be interested to try more dishes going by how delicious the starter was. The service was amazing, staff were so polite and welcoming. Thank you.

We saw this place on our way to Barmouth amd we’ve been trying to go for dinner or lunch. But haven’t had the time. Today I was in the area so tried it out. Man oh man l!!! Great service, lovely atmosphere, amd the food is amazing. So delicious. The sirloin steak was so tender. The chicken breast was delicious. The bruschetta was so well made it brought back a lot of memories. The best part it is all very well priced. Definitely worth the drive from Shrewsbury! Totally recommend eating here, everything on the menu is delicious!!
