The best restaurants serving Italian food in Dumfries & Galloway Lowlands

Un agradable café dentro de la excelente Galería de Arte que es The Lightbox. La selección del menú es un poco limitada, pero las pizzas y la pasta son excelentes y buena relación calidad-precio. Asientos bastante cómodos y un buen ambiente. En general, precios medios. El servicio es amigable y normalmente muy bueno, pero estirado cuando está muy ocupado... los clientes han sabido entonces ayudar con las mesas de compensación.

What a gem. One of the best pizzas I’ve had served straight from a wood fired stone pizza oven. Service was excellent. Pricing very reasonable. Situated in the beautiful parkland down by the river a short walk out of the town centre. Will definitely be back.

Lovely setting, staff and food. But it's just too pricey, which is possibly the reason why we were the only customers and were outnumbered by the staff - always an uncomfortable feeling. We only wanted a snack, and paid £9 for soup and £7 for a slice of cake. Such a shame, because it'll stop us going again.

Ordered a sausage and egg roll. One sausage cut in half and flattened. Seen thicker bacon won't be back................

Online order didn't turn up despite the company saying it had been delivered. They didn't answer their phone when l tried to find out where order was. They still charged me over £20 for the order. Total cowboy outfit. Beware.

Have been ordering from them for a few months now, there service has got worse and worse! Overcharging when ordering over the phone with them, forgetting items and then charging to then bring them out and overall a bad customer service experience with ak desserts… so disappointing won’t be ordering from there again.

I'm a fully qualified chef myself. Worked in kitchen for years. Last night I mad an order of the ribeye steak, I got pepercor sauce wich is made with cream... white... The stuff came to me yellow the colour of spit oil. The manager came on the phone and asked me what I wanted to do if I wanted a free mean next time. Ha wouldn't of ordered if a was not hungry and you expect me to wait a day. I just phoned up at 20 to 10 and the manager told me youre shut 20 minutes early cause you have no driver but food hub is still open?
