Rico's in Dumfries & Galloway

Ordered a sausage and egg roll. One sausage cut in half and flattened. Seen thicker bacon won't be back................

Bit of a mixed bag. We arrived at quarter past one on a Saturday and waited 45 minutes for our order-chicken nuggets and chips for toddlers, cheeseburger for dad, cold roll for me and sausage and chips for the teen. They forgot to cook a portion of the chips, and I decided I wasn't waiting for them, especially with a grumpy toddler. No refund offered either for them but I just wanted out so i didnt say! The food was good and well cooked but unfortunately half way through my cold roll I found a massive black hair. Won't be back which is a shame because I've heard great things from other people.

Fantastic service food is hot and delicious. The staff are brilliant great service. Family run business much better than branded well done ricos. Here's to more deliveries in the new year

Wrong food arrived... items missing... terrible customer service as the lad put the phone down on me, then phoned back and patronised my husband! Never again!

Customer service is first class, orders are promptly delivered, the quality of product is of the highest standard. The ONLY place for a Saturday morning breakfast roll, lunch or dinner.

We pop in on a weekend for a breakfast roll. It can get very busy and sometimes have quite a wait. The staff are always really friendly and food is really good. Best breakfast rolls in Dumfries.

If I had rated this after the first order I placed here the rating would be 1 star higher, thought I would order again after waiting nearly 2 hours our food arrived, let's just say we didn't eat it £15 in the bin then we decided to go up town for breakfast instead

Rico's is a great wee shop. Has an excellent range of food and is clean and tidy. They give an excellent service.

This is a great wee takeaway. The staff are very friendly and when we were in there was a young disabled boy in too..the staff were so patient with him and took the time to have a chat with the boy, they tried to help him with his order by suggesting he add another ingredient to his order to make it a more decent lunch...I was impressed with the staff. Food was good and it was a good price too.

We only went once (travelling) but would eat here regularly if we lived in Dumfries. Everybody takes pride in what they do and are so friendly. The food is made from scratch in front of your eyes and the soup is purely homemade. I can not wait to return to Rico’s next time I’m in Dumfries.

I go here with the 2 children i look after(age 2 and 5)All the staff are really lovely and friendly and always chat to the children.The food is great and a decent price,i would definitely recommend a visit!

Visited for the first time whilst on holiday in Dumfries. We came upon the take-away by accident and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. It has a range of Italian pasta and pizza on offer as well as hot and cold rolls. Dishes seem to be all cooked from scratch. We opted for spaghetti bolognese and pollo pizza which were cooked to perfection. One of the party opted for a cold baguette which again was rather delicious. We would have given five stars for the food alone. However the cold drinks selection for a take-away was lacking with little sugar free cans on offer.

We have become regular customers to Ricos. They make everything fresh to order. Great menu, good food and service with a smile.

Staff are always friendly and the service and quality of food is fantastic! I regularly get my lunch rolls from here and went there everyday when I was at School.

bacon, egg and tattie scone rolls are very nice and reasonably priced. A varied menu and friendly helpful staff who are sometimes overworked. Waiting times can be a bit long at busy times

Rolls are lovely love there chicken savoury and there breakfast rolls I'm so please the not in walking distance to me other wise I would be in there every day.

ive been taking my neighbour Big Shell from Heathhall to both Ricos cafes a few times a week for years for her favourite snack "double burger, bacon, sausage and broon sauce"; Shells not that mobile so we phone ahead and they bring it out to her side of the car; its that good she has it scoffed by the time I drop her off 5 mins later back in Heathhall. After doing this for yonks I tried it myself and honestly the food was amazing, It does me for my tea alone but Shell says she sometimes gets her maw to go back and get another one there that geed! Definitely worth a visit

The worst takeaway I have ever had the misfortune to visit. On arrival about 1.30pm lunch time, I entered the front shop hoping to get a Pizza or anything for that matter. There were a few people standing or sitting around presumably waiting for their...

Conseguimos una pizza y queso macaronni. El picante pollo era bastante horrible y Macaroni queso era más agua de queso. Una muy buena cosa - el ajo pizza en realidad era bastante bueno.

Eat here regularly, when hungover, at lunchtime and at dinner time, service is great, food is delish, what more can you ask for.... keep it up!!

I had roll and bacon. Asked them to cut far of - no problems. Plenty filling. Partner had beef burger was delish!! Very clean takeaway and you can see the kitchen area is also immaculate. Well done.
