The best restaurants serving Italian food in Highland Highlands and Islands

Surprise find . Lovely friendly service . Good pizza and amazing Tiramisu. Went with my daughter as a quick stop to break up a long drive and would not hesitate to come back .

Another excellent meal at Ravenscourt House. Delicious homemade soup and couldn’t resist having the Carbonara again. The Bruschetta, Seafood Tagliatelle and Duck Ragu also looked very good and all were generous portions. The service was very welcoming and friendly so it was a great evening.

Fui a Coop en Portree para comprar algunas cosas para nuestro viaje por carretera y nos topamos con este camión de comida encantador. Los dos probamos el pastel escocés y ¡oh chico, estuvo tan bueno! Muy sabroso y muy bien condimentado. Los propietarios también son muy amables. Sin duda merece la pena una visita!

Comida exuberante. Delicioso café y gran servicio. Llegué soñando con avo smash & eggs - aunque no en el menú que estaba preparado en un instante. ¡Fue sensacional!

Best pizza dough I've ever tasted. An absolute must if you're in the area. Staff are super lovely too.

Cracking little Italian cafe in Beauly, friendly, clean , and lovely traditional Italian treats and coffee ☕️ 😋 still a treat and shouldn't be missed ,

We have been impressed with so many of the restaurants in Inverness but sadly this was not one of them. The food was not at all special. I had a pasta dish with loads of peas and large chunks of broccoli floating in a very mediocre tomato sauce. My husband had a pizza that was not very special as well. The male waiter was pleasant enough but the female was abrasive and very curt. Until this evening both my husband and I had commented on how attentive the waiters had been in all the restaurants we had been in Inverness. The female waitress in Little Italy let down the rest of Inverness.

Wow the Cullin Skink soup was fantastic to start. We had lobster betwen us for main course, tasty delious food. Only a small place, you can't book. (I kept trying to ring) Top Tip Get of the train and get there asap as it fills up, and they only do lunch. When we arrived they had a note on the door saying full ,but my wife went round the side asked if they could fit us in. Ime so glad as he squeezed us in. (Thankyou so much) people kept coming but we were lucky. Does not disapoint.

Italian restaurant. Excellent food. Good size portions presented beautifully. Wine a little expensive. The lady in charge of service was very efficient. Slightly less so the other two waiters who forgot to offer the pepper/parmesan for our main courses. We would certainly recommend the Aurora.

Incredible quality of ice cream, friendly, great Italian vibe. The staff were really nice to us, they have so many unique ice cream flavours, I tried Christmas pudding and Apple and cinnamon crumble. The coffee was also good and they sell some really nice products from Italy. Will definitely be back!

Lovely gelato / ice cream. We enjoyed every bite and absolutely would return. Great service too, had a nice sit outside on the table and chairs in the sun.

When I travel back home, this is one of the main reasons I like coming back home, even now thinking about this I'm missing Caithness that little bit more.

Google said it was open and sign on the wall says open 7 days a week. Definitely not open on Wednesdays or Thursdays at the moment and no phone line to call and check. Such a shameas we'd driven into Aviemore especially 🙁

We had a delicious meal for two today and cannot fault anything. Starters were Garlic bread and meatballs, then main meals were, Chicken burger and fries, and Spaghetti bolognaise, very highly recommend eating here,we are coming back soon. The first question was do we have any allergies they should know about. Our waitress asked us on a number of times, if our meal was OK, and was there anything she could get for us. Excellent time...
