The Italian Job in Highland

Surprise find . Lovely friendly service . Good pizza and amazing Tiramisu. Went with my daughter as a quick stop to break up a long drive and would not hesitate to come back .

Friendly staff, really fast, great quality of the food + coffees and best of all - metal music while the staff is speaking in Italian behind the counter!

Their Pizza is the best we have had in years. Lovely desserts, though the fudge cake was huge, nessy would struggle to finish it. !! Despite their support for Aston Villa, I'll be back.

Superb pizza prepared on demand in small laid back Sicilian restaurant; good range of authentic pizzas and a few additional items. Recommended by Scott, the Glen Affric youth hostel warden, and certainly didn’t disappoint. Good selection of Black Isle beers. Delicious tiramisu and canola; the size of the former providing sufficient calories for several days of Munro bagging! Despite being very busy, there was no fluster and the ‘call back’ table reservation system worked. Well worth arranging to be in Drumnadrochit in need of pizza to visit The Italian Job.’

We got takeaway rather than sitting in, the pizza and garlic bread were incredibly tasty, lovely authentic pizza. Priced very reasonably. The only part we didn't particularly enjoy was the arancini, we found it quite dry due to being one very large arancini ball, and it definitely lacked any sauce.

We had a family meal with 8 people including 2 under 5. The anti pasti was delicious- plenty of choice. The pizzas were fab and the service was excellent and very friendly. Highly reccommend

Just had an outstanding experience at The Italian Job this evening. The food was absolutely first class, authentic and freshly made to order, but that was not the whole story! My partner is vegan, so we were delighted to see a vegan option which extended beyond the usual tomato and basil and not much else. My partner did not want vegan cheese on the pizza, however due to a misunderstanding, when we collected the pizza it had what was clearly regular mozzarella on it; with a sense of trepidation we took the offending pizza back in to the shop, anticipating an adversarial exchange and an ugly conflict. This however, could not have been further from the truth! The chap who served us was immediately attentive, with genuine concern, and once we explained the situation, he immediately apologised and offered us a replacement pizza; this was freshly cooked in minutes, and was absolutely delicious, but the real aspect which set The Italian Job apart was the outstanding customer service. This is an establishment which places customer care above any other consideration, and deserves all the accolades listed on this page. We will make it a distinct reason to visit Drumnadrochit again!

The pizza here is absolutely amazing! The portion sizes are pretty decent and we shared 2 pizzas between the 3 of us. The dough in particular was delicious. Even better were the desserts. The chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding were both top notch. Not much seating inside, so best to make a reservation for a table.

Alleen al de antipasto, 2x bruschetta, frietjes zijn heerlijk!!! En meer dan voldoende voor 3 personen. We kwamen net voor sluitingstijd binnen, daarom bakten ze geen pizza’s meer, maar wat hebben wij lekker gegeten!!

We weren’t expecting much from the location next to a Co-op but this place was the real deal. Authentic brick oven fired pizza, amazing combinations, excellent service. There was a line of locals waiting for take away the entire time we were there. We will go out of our way to stop here on our next trip. Exceptional pizza, great service!

Holy crap this was not expected. Absolutely blew my expectations for food out of the water. I would honestly say this is the best pizza I've ever been served. With the owner and son being from Palermo, you are getting proper Italian pizza, not American "lob as much on the pizza as possible" We had takeaway first then are in 2nd time. It's a shame we're leaving for home 8hrs away in two days as I'd eat pizza from here on a regular basis Cannot recommend enough, along with the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff

Recently on holiday in the Highlands doing the North 500. Camped in drumnadrochit and went twice to the Italian Job. Superb food and atmosphere. Friendly and top quality. Loved it .I wish I could transport it to Salisbury in Wiltshire.

Pizza is really good and tasty. Can absolutely recommend. Ordered to take away and didn’t have to wait very long. Tiramisu is also good.

The kitchen dining area is open plan, you can see your food being prepared and cooked. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed our food.
