The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Outstanding italian food. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We stumbled across it while wandering around Dorking and are so glad that we did. The service was friendly and genuine, and the food is incredible. Everything was cooked fresh and with genuine care. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out.

Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant we are so pleased they did. It was a fabulous Italian restaurant. From the focaccia, starters and mains everything was delicious The only negative was the majority of the bottles of wine were a overpriced.

I was with my family and my little 2-year-old child, when I got there they said they were busy and that they couldn't receive me at the moment, after that I left and walked for 45 minutes, I came back and they said that they have a free table for an hour, after which I decided to stay, being with a small child in a pram, the staff told me to pack my pram and put it behind them so as not to disturb the customers, after which I accepted, but once again we changed our mind and wanted to leave, while I was going to get the stroller I heard him say to the person who offered to put the stroller in the back for me, its a stress when I heard that I told them that it is not a stress and I wanted to take my stroller and leave. then the pizzeria started to say that I shouldn't be interested in how he talks to the staff and told me to leave the place because he is the owner, etc., I don't think such a thing is normal, because I had an experience with them the first year very bad as you can see in the picture, the second time I said to try again to see if it's still the same, considering that I spent £60 on a table that really isn't worth it. very rude and disrespectful staff. totally disappointed.

Brilliant service, the staff were very attentive and provided brilliant complimentary food. The food was perfect! Would recommend for a great dining experience and really high quality food. We were a table of 11 and had no complaints.

An impromptu visit for a bite to eat on a sunny Tuesday evening. This place was absolutely buzzing-great atmosphere, lovely staff & good quality food and drink…what’s not to like! Well done to Will, Daniel & all of the team as we know how hard they’ve all worked to create this wonderful place.

Had a great dinner tonight at Mandana. Thank you to Nez and Lena for brilliant service. Couldn’t recommend this place any more! Will be back next time we are in Ealing. Love from Scotland!

Food superb. Waiter service by Bessi was 1st class. Atmosphere and food was really good, steak cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Eros is totally unique, an olde worlde building with 2 small staircases leading up, old beams & uneven floors, absolutely beautiful. We had Romeo & Juliet Prosecco whilst we perused the menu, which took a little while as we couldn't decide because everything sounded lovely. In the end, we chose whitebait & feta parcel, kleftico & duck breast, all of which were beautifully presented, generous & delicious. We shared the orange pie as we were full but couldn't resist the dessert as it sounded gorgeous. The service was also very good. I would definitely recommend Eros & look forward to returning. Thank you.

Food and coffee is fantastic and the staff are incredible. Have been here a few times and always leave very happy. Very reasonably priced and good quality and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Took 4 of my friends to this lovely Place. The food was absolutely gorgeous with a wide range of authentic Italian snacks/meals. The staff were so lovely and the Italian owner (so sorry, forgot his name) was amazing and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you

Served the saltiest pasta ever, 3 of 4 dinners were sent back, I was then charged for 3 dinners , the attitude of the staff was poor when I complained , the bill changed again, I asked for the service charge to be removed. The waiter who I believe is one of the managers snatched the bill from my hand in a very aggressive manner. We received no apology and a semi lecture on dining etiquette.Oh how I laughed. If you choose pizza or pasta this is what they can make, anything else their the fine dining skills do not exist. Spanish restaurant across the road us a better option. The restaurant was busy and it is clear it is understaffed and cannot cope with a full house. The attitude of the staff is what disappointed us most,every chef has a bad day. Never again will we return and would suggest to everyone do not go here, there are plenty of other options available nearby.

2nd evening in Woodhall Spa and another excellent meal with attentive staff. Thank you Lorenzo, will certainly be back for another lovely meal.

We've been here twice now as the venue is only 15 minutes away. Both occasions have been great - the tasting menu is varied and filling, creative and delicious. We didn't feel rushed and there's a sense of 'what, more food?!' until finally we got dessert. Neither of us are big drinkers - luckily we could split the wine tasting and it still seemed plenty. Wines are mostly (all?) Italian and paired well with the food. Both the sommeliers were very knowledgeable about the wines. Overall, can't recommend enough :)
