Nice ambiance, service very good, foooood we had paninis and sandwich the fillings were very skimpy and I believe they had increased their prices. Not value for money. We have been in before and enjoyed our food. This must have been an off day. Will try it some time in future.

Stopped here for a light lunch with family and baby daughter. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We all enjoyed our sandwiches. I also had the hot chocolate ‘italia’ - definitely one of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had, really thick and creamy. Would definitely recommend!

Popped in here during a recent visit to the town for coffee and a bite to eat and it was really lovely. my parents and I had flat whites and a mocha and then two toasties and one of the soups. everything was really lovely and tasty and well made. the was quite a good little variety of food and drink on offer and all the baked goods looked delicious but we were a little too full to try. we didn't spend too much time in the shop where this cafe is at the back of, but there seemed to be a lot of lovely little trinkets and gifts on offer. would return and recommend for someone looking for a light bite in a very pretty cafe setting.

Situated at the back of a charming little shop. Good coffee. Reasonable choices - sandwiches, toasties, panini, soup. Both me and my sister had panini - both tasty! Just gutted I didn’t try the scrummy looking homemade cakes on offer! Staff were lovely - particularly with my very noisy 8 month old niece!! Must be noted: when we got around to order food (delayed due to previously noted noisy and hungry niece) they had officially stopped serving food! But the lovely ladies kindly prepared some for us anyway :) thank you! Will definitely return!

A small independent shop with a real focus on design. Lovely products, and beautifully set out. The window display showcases what's inside very well. One of the jewels of the town. They also own Polka Dot, a shop nearly opposite, but the coffee shop pictured here is now closed. So you'll have to find somewhere else to get your coffee I'm afraid.

This little cafe is tucked behind a shop and we almost missed it. You have to walk to the back of the shop to access it. We opted for two of the homemade cakes which were nice but nothing extraordinary. The staff were friendly and welcoming, my Cousin opted for a coke which I thought was a little over priced. Nice surroundings and no unpleasant smells like some greasy cafes.

This coffee shop is tucked away st the back of a gift shop so it’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. The coffee is good and there are plenty of cakes, scones and sandwiches on offer. Give it a try.

We were searching for a coffee shop in Church Street, when a complete stranger approached us and recommended this establishment. Very glad she did! We probably wouldn't have found it, being tucked away at the rear of a shop, but the coffee and cake were delicious (best coffee I've had for sometime). Very small place but well worth a visit. This would be my local coffee shop if I lived locally.

A small back of house cafe neatly positioned inside a kitchen shop. First found this place a number of years ago before I moved to Market Harborough. It became a great place to retreat to at the weekend. Offering some small light bites like toasted paninis and sandwiches. To which you make enough room for the locally baked cakes on offer. Usually different upon each visit. I can gladly day they do offer the best tasting real coffee in the town. With a small number of seats inside you best be quick to snatch one. Great for taking the kids as the staff are very attentive and friendly. The flowery wallpaper experience is a bit like going round grannies for tea and cake but on a modernised scale.

We stopped here on a recommendation of a friend, we were not disappointed! The coffee was excellent as was the cake; the staff were very friendly and attentive, even though it was our first visit and the rest of the customers appeared to be locals. Don't be put off by the Cook Shop front, go straight through for a treat.

Looking for somewhere for a 'light bite' around lunchtime when visiting MH, we happened upon the Kitchen Range Cook Shop - now rebranded as the Polkadot Gift Shop and Coffee Shop. Both inside and outside seating (in a nice little courtyard that also has covered areas for seating) and a menu with a good selection of sandwiches, paninis, cakes etc. We had cheese scones, with a side order of pickle and a cheese and tomato panini with coffees and a mocha. Bill came to £15, which I didn't think was unreasonable. Overall, a very good experience and would certainly recommend a visit to others.

A lovely little tea shop at the back of Polkadot's shop. Previously known as the Kitchen Range Cookshop, but owned by the same family. Very English type of tea shop, with a reasonable range of coffees and teas. Not extensive but good enough. Service is good and friendly, plus there are some tables to sit in the courtyard out the back if the weather is nice enough. Can be a little cramped inside as it is very popular. Probably the best in Harborough.

My friend had been here before with her daughter, this was my first time. You go through the shop to find the coffee shop at the back. Its set out lovely with all lovely china mugs, bowls etc and lovely wallpaper. We went mid afternoon so decided on a cream tea each. One with normal tea and one with green tea; all loose leaf tea in a teapot with a strainer. The scones were warm with strawberry jam and clotted cream. This was delicious!! At only £4.95 each I will be back when I am in Market Harborough again. Well worth a visit.

Amazing hot chocolate and coffee, lovely setting indoor and out, always good service. Difficult to find cafe if you don't know about it, hidden in the back of the shop, now called Polkadot! We always have the yummy slices (millionaires shortbread) not as sold on the cakes though compared to some other places we visit.

Coffee is nice, but the man running the cookshop on the opposite side of the road was very rude, I would never shop here again. No excuse for that level of customer service in this day and age, I would have thought the market was too competitive, obviously not in Market Harborough. Order from John Lewis or Lakeland instead.

I recently visited this coffee shop, it's a lovely little place at the back of my favourite gift shop. The tea was served in a very pretty vintage tea cup which is a very nice touch. I was also on my own with a pushchair and the gentleman serving was very kind and offered to help me down the step. Would thoroughly recommend.

This small coffee shop is not obvious from the road as it is hidden away at the back of a greetings card and gift shop. It is part of the Cook Shop that is situated across the road and offers good quality coffee and a tempting, although limited, range of delicious cakes and pastries. As a visitor to the town we were pleased to have found this but would have missed it had we not seen a sign for it in the Cook Shop.

Possibly the best coffee in Harborough (although meatcure is now a strong contender for the title too) and the staff are all very welcoming and attentive. Fresh, home made cakes, delicious cheese scones and they do a lovely Italian platter which I have had on many occasions. The courtyard is one of my favourite places to go in the summer to enjoy an iced coffee whilst catching some rays... A real hidden gem of harborough.

A really pleasant little coffee shop where the coffee and teas are first class as are the home made cakes. The staff were friendly and very helpful which is so much better than visiting the well know chains of coffee shops.By contrast the shop was OK but the man behind the counter was a little brusque in his manner but we went for the coffee and not to buy cookware.

A lovely little cafe, perfect for a light lunch stop or just a coffee break. I have been many times, and the quality of the coffee is excellent, a good range of drinks for coffee and tea lovers alike, impressive for such a small place. The service is always friendly and efficient and the coffee made with care, unlike some of the major coffee chains I have been to. Looking forward to the warmer weather so I can sit in the little courtyard.
