Mamalu Restaurant in Kensington and Chelsea

Assolutamente non un ristorante italiano, da non ritornarci. Costo altissimo per quanto proposto, non riesco a capire come si possono rilasciare recensioni positive.

Durante una vacanza a Londra, il mio ragazzo ed io abbiamo cenato due volte in questo carinissimo locale. I prodotti sono di alta qualità e preparati con maestria, e l’accoglienza del personale è impareggiabile. In particolare, complimenti al mitico Giuseppe che ci ha fatti sentire a casa. Bravi! Torneremo!

Locale situato in una zona tra le più rinnomate di Londra. Personale italiano, cortese e attento al cliente. Menù con proposte sia di pesce che ti carne tipiche della cucina italiana. Ottima qualità delle materie prime.

Delicious food, great service and lovely atmosphere. This lovely Italian restaurant was amazing from start to finish and they’re certainly the experts at what they do. If you’re looking for authenticity and quality then this is the place to visit. The Fried Mediterranean Octopus with baby Chicory was delicious, the Chicory was seasoned with beautiful flavours. The stater dishes were made and prepared in front of you. For starters we had Oysters and Red Tuna Tartare with Avocado and rocket served with a basket of bread and for our main dishes we had TAGLIOLINO TARTUFO, (Homemade Tagliolini) and QUATTRO POMODORI (Spaghetti Four Tomatoes). Both main dishes were delicious and full of flavours. The service was perfect throughout, the waiter ensured our wine glasses were topped up. I can’t wait to visit this restaurant again.

Siamo stati ospiti quindi non so quanto è costata una cena eccezionale in un ambiente caldo e accogliente. Abbiamo assaporato un antipasto di crudi con pesce attentamente selezionato e freschissimo. Una carbonara rivisitata dallo chef con una esplosione di sapori mai provati. Un piatto di tagliolini all’astice buonissimo. Per secondo, su suggerimento del manager, un Sanpietro pescato che aveva ancora il sapore del mare il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo champagne. Per finire un tiramisù preparato al tavolo. Devo sottolineare la cura nella selezione di tutti gli ingredienti e dei minimi dettagli. Dal pane al servizio nulla è lasciato al caso. Voglio tornarci appena possibile.

Mama Lu is a small lovely venue. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is incredible. We had pasta with shrimp and pastachio pesto, and pasta with clams. Both were so delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant

Ci siamo entrati per caso ma mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Frittura mista ben fatta e non unta, carbonara come Dio comanda e strozzapreti con pesce e limone molto buoni e delicati… insomma bellissima esperienza. Il costo poco superiore alla media di Londra, ma vista la qualità dei prodotti è ben giustificato. Consigliato
