Can’t get this lovely place to reply to me either by phone or email, I really wanted to reserve a table, what a shame.

L'esterno del locale, con sala da pranzo a vista, fa venire veramente voglia di entrare. Poprio per l'ambiente così' carino, visto da fuori, volevamo provarlo a cena ma siamo riusciti ad andare solo l'ultimo giorno a pranzo, dopo la visita ai vicinissimi Museo di Storia Naturale e Victoria and Albert Museum. Abbiamo fatto presente di aver poco tempo, a causa del volo aereo imminente: sono stati cortesi, ancorché indaffarati, e velocissimi, nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Decisiva la presenza italiana, che si avverte in sala. Buona la cucina. La prossima volta a Londra torneremo senz'altro a cena, per gustare i piatti con più calma. Bravi.

Stopped at Orsini Ristorante to have a break plus coffee and a cake. As they were busy at about 3.00pm., I asked if we could have coffee and a cake and sit outside as it was busy. No problem and we really appreciated their understanding, the coffee was excellent and the cake was good too. Lovely staff.

Found this great little restaurant entirely by accident, directly opposite the V and A museum, and it will be somewhere we will definitely go back to. Friendly, quirky and with great food. Choosing was difficult because the menu choices sounded fantastic and had several of my favourites. The look of the other diners plates was very inviting. A very generous antipasto was followed by a really delicious squid ink tagliolini with plenty of seafood and exactly the right amount of chilli. Then we tried their amazing ice cream and sorbet . Diners nearby were tucking into delicious looking desserts too. Very Happy diners and seemed to be a lot of regulars. A regular who arrived and was seated next to us knew what he wanted. A large helping of crisp calamari was very quickly polished off by him before he started on a delicious smellling Carbonara. Great coffee too. A fantastic end to a lovely day.

I found Orsini by chance a few years ago, and booked again during a recent weekend break. This is an unpretentious little place here the loudspeaker for the place.I had one of the best parmagiana ever to start, while my lady hard a simple cypress salad. Mains were largely pasta and risotto, but I chose Collette which were done in a tomato sauce. Mrs G picked lasagne we shared a bote a d a choice pudding. Excellent service...highly recommended.

We were served by Julio & Elina who were very welcoming, charming. They have good sense of humour and make you feel at home! Food & coffee are of great quality. It is the closest it gets to Italian cuisine without going to Italy!

I was disappointed that they didn't advertise the menu. It looked like a cafe, took ages for them to bring the menu over. Food was nice but way too expensive, would of been better off going Harrods for a meal

Popped in for something to eat part way through a visit to the V&A. It was such a pleasant surprise. Delicious, reasonably priced food and great service. We had Penne Siciliana and Penne Arrabiata and both were so tasty. The almond cookies were also delicious.

Simply delightful food. Small looking venue but was totally bowled over by taste. Husband and myself had different pasta dishes which arrived quickly and were beautifully fresh and hot. Service was spot on too.

Walked past after visiting the V&A and glanced in then double-backed and managed to secure a table for two. Had fabulous food all made on the premises, great service with a really warm Italian atmosphere and welcome.

We stay regularly at the hotel next door, and were interested to try this place. It is simple in décor and modestly priced, but you get a big friendly welcome. The other diners when we were there on a quiet Sunday night were mostly regulars/locals or Italian, so a good sign. Apparently it is very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking is probably a good idea then. The menu is quite straightforward, there are homemade pasta dishes, and some chicken and seafood mostly..... but I still found it hard to choose as so many of the dishes sounded good. The white wine (house) was very nice and a good price, especially considering the location. They also have some lovely homemade puddings. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We will return.

Had a Saturday night dinner in this place. While going I was a bit puzzled. The restaurant was not accepting online bookings, which is a bit strange for London. Once there, the atmosphere was not very cosy. The place was quite noisy, so we did not expect much from the whole experience. However, as soon as the food started to arrive, we were pleasantly surprised. High-quality dishes, very well presented and very Italian. Service was also at a very good level. Would recommend the restaurant for its quality of food, but not very much for its atmosphere.

We enjoyed a delicious evening meal at Orsinis while staying at my favourite London hotel next door. We both chose risotto that evening, al funghi porcini (mushrooms) and gamberoni e zafferano (tiger prawns). Both were equally good. Organic white wine was perfect to this. Dessert was yummy tiramisu served in a glass, very like one I remember having in Rome. Even on a Monday evening the ristorante was full, recommend booking a table in advance. Looking forward to our next visit!

My mom and I enjoyed a beautiful Italian dinner at Orsini. We were walking by and noticed the sign and took a chance! It was excellent. Very authentic. We are of Italian origin from Canada and really enjoyed the homemade gnocchi!!great staff and lovely atmosphere. Grazie!

Ir a alguno de los bellos museos al costado y luego comer aqui es lo mejor que puedas hacer. Es un verdadero restaurante italiano con ingredientes de alta calidad, pastas caseras cocinadas al dente y salsas llenas de sabor, la carbonara estupenda, la pasta con i frutti di mare muy bien hecha, el risotto perfecto y los postres buenos tambien. El servicio amable y cordial, muy recomendable.

We stumbled on this restaurant after visiting the VAMuseum. The reviews enticed us to try. Whilst the carbonara pasta was tasty and the meatball dish delicious it just lacked something. Why not serve a couple of slices of bread with the meatball dish.

Conveniently placed for the V and A and not too far from the Royal Albert Hall. An extensive and varied menu . Service was ok but a little slow. Large portions but bread a little stale and not as advertised . Worth a try

Orsini was recommended by friends to try on our recent visit to London. Orsini is a small restaurant and has a good menu. The menu is everything you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately on the night we went they were out of several dishes we attempted to order. the items that we did order were good. Nothing overly exciting but definitely solid.

Piccolo ristorante con personale molto cordiale e attento sia il personale italiano che quello inglese. Ottimi i piatti. Consiglio la zuppa di pesce napoletana. Veramente gustosa. Non ho dato il punteggio pieno per due motivi: avevamo il posto vicino alla porta di ingresso rotta che nn si chiudeva completamente lasciando passare aria gelida e la pasta alla carbonara era buona ma non si può chiamare alla carbonara se si mette il Gongorzola. Se evitare il posto vicino alla porta e la carbonara ve lo consiglio vivamente

Took friends from Australia to eat here, it was, as expected, fabulous. Great service and the food is always spectacular. We are going back this evening after not being in the country for a while, can't wait!

Came here for lunch with a friend after visiting the V &A.; Friend ordered leak & potato soup and I had pasta carbonara. The soup was the consistency of mashed potato. Plate could have been turned upside down and ‘soup’ would have remained in plate. My friend complained and reply was it’s very good soup taste it. Unfortunately it tasted worse than mashed potato, dull and bland. Served with boring simple white bread, no butter.

Abbiamo cenato con un piatto semplice, una zuppa con lenticchie e pomodorini con pane (buono) a parte. La cena è stata buona anche in rapporto al prezzo... Personale ottimo, giovane, cordiale e parla italiano ! Locale consigliato ! Soprattutto in una fredda serata di dicembre.

this is the 2nd time i have been to this restaurant and it was truly lovely. it is very authentic italian. the service was fantastic and our server (and all the staff) were so friendly and accomodating. i can't wait to go back and take the rest of the family. i would recommend getting pasta here 100%

What a found! This lovely place serves incredibly delicious food. Had a dinner tonight with my second half and left fully satisfied!! To begin with we took fresh, crispy calamari followed by pasta with Bolognese sauce which was full of flavour with requested hint of chilli and real Italian Carbonara that is not so easy to find in London!

Excelente ubicación para V y un museo. Conocí a 4 amigos y pude reservar una mesa para 5 para el almuerzo antes de visitar la exposición. Personal amable y servicial. Menú limitado pero recién cocinado incluyendo pasta casera. Precios por ubicación justa. Un almuerzo ajetreado pero sin molestias para seguir adelante. Sin duda volveremos y también lo harán mis amigos.

A Londra per lavoro e con poco tempo abbiamo trovato quest’angolo di casa. Tutto buonissimo e gentilezza rara. Abbiamo provato gli gnocchi alla Sorrentino e le scaloppine al limone. La torta al cioccolato con strati di nutella sublime.

Brother & sister team have created a charming little restaurant with some of the best HOME-MADE pasta I have ever tasted. The Orsini name is legitimate -- the team has deep Roman roots -- the coat-of-arms at the entrance is earned! //. A superb lunch or snack break when visiting the V&A; or other museums across the street.

Two adults and three children went after a visit to the NHM. Just a short walk so perfect. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The children had the meatball which they loved. I had the lasagna which was so tasty. A crunchy salad on the side to share with a yummy dressing. Also some roasted potatoes full of flavour. We all had pudding which were hard to choose as they were all so tempting. I would definitely recommend this family run restaurant

We had a girls night out at Orsini. Booked in advance for 10 in the upstairs area. They were well prepared for us. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and great for conversation. The food was fantastic and served on time

The restaurant is in a great location and the staff are friendly. One of our party was very pleased with the seafood risotto. the other risotto was OK. My ravioli was presented stone cold, sent back and returned hotter but in liquid that had separated. Disappointing. The server apologised. Prices average to high per quality

This is a great small Italian restaurant in the heart of the Knightsbridge area of London (just down the street from Harrod's). I ate here twice during this visit. Both of my meals were excellent with large portions for a reasonable price. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for either lunch or dinner.

So many Americans still think it’s difficult to find great food in London at a reasonable price! Orsini in South Kensington proves them wrong. This unassuming Italian restaurant (close to the Victoria and Albert Museum), serves great dishes, lovingly prepared and served by a charming team all working to provide a great experience for their clients. They have a Super Tuscan red wine that is to die for. We ate the spaghetti, the penne Arabiatta, and the rockets salad. All the dishes being served looked great. This is a small restaurant so it’s a good idea to have reservations. Don’t be fooled by the low prices; this is quality gourmet food and lovely presentation. I honestly think they should raise their prices. It’s that good! And their food commands greater tribute. We will return tonight!

This little family run restaurant is simply fantastic. Service was excellent. We were served by a lovely waitress whose name I didn't catch and the son of the owners. Service was charming and impeccable.

While it’s called a restaurant and located in Knightsbridge, it is more of a cafe than a restaurant. We booked while we driving by and it looked alright from the outside. But the tables were very small and cramped for room. The owner was very welcoming. Apart from one other seasoned waiter, who checked up on us and finally got us what we ordered the rest of the staff were running around like headless chucks not knowing what they are doing. We had to ask 3 different waiters for the sauce that we ordered before we received it. We wanted to try 6 different pastas in smaller portions but we were it was not possible due to the size of the kitchen. This should give you some idea of the size of the cafe (not a restaurant) that we are talking about. Food was good as you would expect any good Italian family owned restaurant. £10 per glass of Burchino was pretty expensive for the caliber of the place. I believe that they may have a huge rent to pay and it would have to come from somewhere. I have travelled around the world and been to many Italian restaurants and in my opinion, there are many others deserve a 2nd visit than Orisini. They could improve their service by checking on their customers and delivering what they require as most customers would be willing to compromise on the ambiance if the food and service were good enough. I give Orsini 5 stars for excellence as an unpretentious neighborhood restaurant with excellent food (as opposed to 5 stars meaning fine dining).

We just happened upon this place on our way to the Museum of Natural History and were extremely pleased. The service and food were both wonderful, and the prices were reasonable.

La sensazione che proverete una volta entrati da Orsini è: qualunque lingua parliate, da qualunque posto veniate, vi sentirete a casa. Luca, il cameriere, è stato simpaticissimo, come il resto dello staff. Cibo buonissimo, l’Italia che troverete nei loro piatti è quella autentica. Gnocchi alla sorrentina magnifici, risotto al gorgonzola e zucchine spettacolare. Forse un po’ meno buono il tiramisù. Prezzi onesti e mancia, non obbligatoria, meritata.

We went to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and we had just arrived and were tired and hungry. It was a great choice. The food was terrific as was the service.

We spent a week in London and ate at the Orsini twice including our last night in town - the service was wonderful - this place seems to be family owned and operated, they made us feel like old friends - my wife is a huge gnocchi fan, one bite and she proclaimed "this is the best gnocchi I've eaten in my life" (hence the second visit - her opinion did not change) - everything we order was excellent - looking forward to our next visit.

Presents as more of a café than restaurant. Small seating area, few more on a small mezzanine balcony, there are a few tables outside also.

My wife and I stayed in the Kensington area recently and discovered Orsini by accident. We had an amazing meal with outstanding service in a warm family atmosphere.

This is a good place for Italian food. It's privately owned and has a basic menu and decor. We enjoyed the homemade pasta and the service was efficient. We also had a mixed salad side dish which was sufficient for the two of us. Given the location, prices are reasonable.

Wandered past after a visit to the museums. Nice looking menu so we popped in for lunch. Friendly service, lovely fresh Italian flavours. Fabulous mozzarella, sourdough bruschetta was delicious. Penne arribatta had lots of flavour to it. Love the fact you can have a single scoop of ice cream as a dessert. 3 courses each and a bottle of wine for £77 in a lovely relaxing environment. A friendly restaurant with very tasty food. The gnocchi especially was delicious and the pistachio ice cream was the best we have ever tasted. Luke was most attention despite the restaurant being very busy.

We have eaten here a few times over the years and it is always a pleasure. The food is fresh, full of flavour and attractive and the service has always been friendly and helpful - even when we have arrived at strange times for lunch (4.00pm for lunch). Disappointing bland tasting pasta - we tried 4 different pastas and all rather tasteless. Don't understand the high rating at all.

My family have been eating in Orsini for over 10 years and will now never return due to the appalling manner of the supposed maitre d'. We wanted lunch and my wife dropped in to book a table to ensure seats prior to visiting the V&A.; She was appalled to be asked for a £50 deposit, but paid to ensure her parents could eat there. In all our many trips eating out in London we have NEVER been asked for a deposit - even in the most high end restaurants - for some jumped up pseudo server to demand a deposit in an establishment such as Orsini beggars belief.

My husband and I recently ate dinner at this restaurant because it was near our hotel. We loved it! Both of us thought the calamari was the best that we’d ever had (and my husband’s dad used to own an Italian Restaurant). Very charming, good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Hier heerlijk geluncht. Kleine kaart maar voldoende keus. Eigenlijk nog teveel want ik kon nog niet kiezen. Pasta met zeevruchten was heerlijk. Lekkere wijn erbij. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Niet al te duur.

Buon ristorante con cucina italiana, i ristoratori sono di origini campane e si vede perché le pietanze sono gustosissime ed artigianali. Gustosissimo il sugo fatto con pomodorini freschi e la mozzarella di bufala impanata. Nulla da dire anche sul personale, gentilissimo e professionale, una nota di merito per Domiziana che ci ha servito con una dolcezza infinita. Unico tasto dolente è il prezzo medio alto non per tutte le tasche ma una volta ogni tanto se si vuole cibo di qualità ci si può anche concedere qualche strappo alla regola. Bravi, ottimo ristorante.

I took my Mum here looking for a lovely lunch experience after visiting a V&A; exhibition. She is a lady of a certain age and would not eat out unless the restaurant is super comfortable and amiable with quality food. Orsini ticked all the boxes and more. They were exceptionally welcoming and personable, offering help with menu selection, phone charging, take home boxes and desserts to go. Special shout out to Rosie who was a star. She made our experience there perfection, with a mean Bianco Martini!

Any time I can get tolerable gluten-free pasta, I rejoice, but the home-made pasta at Orsini's was the best I ever had. These days, most gluten-free pasta taste OK, but the texture is unsatisfying. The pasta at Orsini's was as good as any regular pasta. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara and was overjoyed at the taste & texture. Orsini's is known for their house-made pasta and the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their pasta dishes as well, including the gnocchi. The only downside - some staff didn't show up for work so the 2 waiters were really stretched. They did the best they could, but service was a tad slow. Otherwise the waiter was really accommodating and offered to give me a free dessert because it took so long to bring the sugar for my after-meal tea.

Me and my friend went there last night and I have to say it was a great surprise. The food was authentic Italian cuisine and I could eat it every day! The service matched the quality of food ... our waiter was brilliant - help us to choose, very attentive even we were bit misbehaving after a few drinks somewhere else :) I had spaghetti with mixed seafood, cherry tomatoes and chilli. My friend had tagliatelle with clams and white wine sauce. Pasta is home made! We also tried a bruschetta and berries cheesecake. Giving 5 star and will go back anytime ⭐️ well done to the chef! My mother and I went for lunch before going to an exhibition at the V & A. We were taken upstairs then ignored whilst the waiter poured wine and chatted to another table. He then pointed to a table for two and said here ok. Which it was. He proceeded to go up and down the stairs a few times. We then had to ask for menus. Eventually he came to take our order. We waited 10 minutes before the bottle of prosecco arrived then ended up waiting an hour for our food. I had to go and ask how long it was going to be as we needed to leave for 2.30. Food arrived hot and flavourful but we had to eat fast and pay the bill. We didn’t leave a gratuity as the service was extremely poor. I have had the pleasure of owning a restaurant and if my staff were like that with customers they would not be in a customer facing roll! I expect polite attentive service not to feel like an inconvenience or forgotten about. Poor!

The meals are well balanced flavors that are light and delightful. The red sauce is so smooth and wonderful, and is grandmother's secret. Casual atmosphere with the focus on the food. Good location. Have gone twice in 2 days for the food.

Good food and service with moderate prices. Daily specials are a highlight. So good we went back two nights later. Friendly owner or manager was quick to remember us - always a good sign.

This restaurant was authentic with great portions and a great flavour! Inexpensive, considering the location, and a perfect pre-event meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. The decor was simple but cosy and the general feel was of family! The house wine was fab. On the down side the menu wasn’t vast but I find that less the choice equals better flavour and I wasn’t disappointed!

My first visit here about two years ago wasn't great but i decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Two of us for dinner after the Dior Exhibition at the V&A.; Orsini is very close and just across the road. We shared a pomodoro bruschetta and had respectively tagliatelle bolognese and the squid ink taglione with seafood. Both delicious and generous portions. The service was attentive and humorous and the place was buzzing after 8 on a Friday night. I'll definitely go back.

Orsini is near the Rembrandt Hotel. Food and service are average. Grab a quick bite on the way to a show.

Found this little gem 20 meter down the street from our hotel (Rembrandt). Well worth a visit. Layout is simple and it is not a fancy restaurant. Having a strong family feeling; good food and great/friendly service. In the end of the course we were introduced to a platter of chees that they wanted to test and they didn't charge us for that. I will go back any day for another visit.

This restaurant was very close to where we were staying. It came with no recommendation but looking in from the outside, it always seemed full which is usually a good recommendation.

Though well-located, this small restaurant disappointed in the taste and temperature of the food. We only tried it once, so perhaps judgement should be reserved.

Went on a reccomendation of a nearby shop owner, stayong at The Rembrandt just finished The Mary Quant exhibit. What a wonderful way to end the day at this lovely quaint authentic Italian Restaurant.

Definitely a good idea to get reservations. After being turned away from other Italian restaurants the day prior, we were finally smart enough to make them here and a good thing. Super busy place and very good service considering. With my family of 4 we had a large variety of starters and main dishes. We had absolutely no complaints. From bruschetta, calamari, carbonara, a derp fried breaded chicken with potatoes and several different wines. Portion size was perfect when compared with the very reasonable price. Staff was super friendly. I highly recommend it.
