While traveling in London with my husband, brother and his girlfriend we decided to book afternoon tea. I've had my share of teas, but never in London, so how could we past up such an experience. I purchased through Groupon and made a reservation through Osteria's website directly. Upon arriving we were greeted by the hosted and lead to our table. The floor manager had brought our menus over for us and we made our tea selections and ordered when our waitress had arrived. Our selection of teas came out and they were all delicious. Normally the finger sandwiches are hit or miss, but the selection that came was amazing and everyone had something they loved. The scones were to die for (yes!) and we were so sad that we were so full to finish the rest. The dessert wasn't the best, but to be quite frank, we were in such a delighted and good mood from the overall experience that it was still great! The portions also were really good. Each person was able to have one of each sandwich, two scones, and one of each small dessert. For the price you really cannot beat this afternoon tea and the professional and courteous staff that served us!

Beautiful restaurant and hotel, nice staff but highly disappointed with the afternoon tea. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher quality of food and drink. Pastries were all aesthetically pleasing, but don't be fooled - they're nothing special. Sandwiches were so dry we couldn't even finish half the portion. Felt like we were given yesterdays leftovers. Won't be coming back.

Fabulous hotel in lovely location. Staff very efficient and friendly. Nice food for afternoon tea. Prosecco tasty. However we found the sweet treats a little bland. Would return again. Great value on groupon.

What a great choice of venue! My pregnant friend decided that afternoon tea would be a nice way to enjoy being with friends, before the arrival of her new baby. We hosted a small baby shower with games and the staff were extremely accommodating! We were allowed to decorate the table plus we held a few games and we were given plenty of time and space to enjoy the prosecco plus afternoon tea delights. The scones were scrumptious. We had groupon vouchers, which made this whole experience even more superb as it was ridiculously good value! A great afternoon tea experience and the service was impeccable. Thank you for making our shower an enjoyable one.

We dropped on a Groupon Voucher for afternoon tea with Champagne at Osteria 60 and it was a real treat. The sandwiches, scones and cake selection were varied and delicious. The prosseco bubbles was actually quite nice, so much so we ordered another bottle :) Great little treat for a Saturday afternoon in Kensington High Street

Posh restaurant, impeccable service. The food was good but nothing to write home about. I only tried the restaurant once in a relatively large group, but I wasn't that impressed by the taste. No specific complaints but the food just didn't entice me to return.

We came here for the pre theatre set menu ( before 7 pm) , this is at a good price of £29 pp,otherwise this could be an expensive meal! It comes with a glass of pressecco per person , a bottle of water and coffee, which alone would come t £29 ! We managed to get a seat outside which frankly is where you want to be , inside did not look as nice. We wanted the spaghetti Ragu , but was told it was with pork, so we had the mozzerala thing as a starter, mains was a small piece of turbot in cucumber , there here was some green leaf which was way over salted , rather spoil the dish, I think the chicken would have been a better choice, lemon tart excellent, not sure about he tiramisu .coffee was , lovely , and of course overly attentive service. Apart from some smokers we enjoyed the evening ,

Very Good ? mmmmm, its between good and very ! Certainly above average. Time to catch up with an old friend who lives just around the corner and he suggested Osteria 60. It was close, had an outside terrace (perfect weather) and looked both inviting and stylish. We opted for a table outside as the weather was perfect, but sadly, a smoker at a nearby table should have been a warning. Don't eat fine food and spend good money if you are sitting outside ANYWHERE if the management allows smoking. Anyway, the wind seemed to be in our favour, so we decided to sit and enjoy the meal. Also, inside was virtually empty and the never makes for a relaxing lunch. The food: Started with a superb Burrata Di Andria, Bulls Heart tomato and celery. Superb. Presentation and flavour couldn't be faulted. For mains, well, it made me smile as often, I just prefer simple Italian food made brilliantly....but here it was a little too trendy. We opted for ravioli and lasagne, but warned that the lasagne was de-constructed. mmmmmmmm. Added to that, it had some quite exotic ingredients that one wouldn't normally associate with lasagne: quail's eggs. Opted for the risotto instead. The ravioli was near to perfect but had a distinct lemon flavour. The risotto was tepid. The Aborio rice being slightly undercooked didn't help matters. Average. Disappointing. By this stage to, our smoking neighbour was onto his 6th cigarette and the wind had changed direction. Unacceptable, particularly as they were not eating, just having coffee. (How often do we see this occurring!) So, we were a bit reluctant to stay longer but decided to opt for dessert. Ordered 2: Negroni Cheesecake and Tiramisu. However, was again warned that the tiramisu was de-constructed, so opted for the Chocolate Mondrian. Both were beautifully presented and the Mondrian was very appropriately named. The Negroni Cheesecake was sublime. Absolutely. The Chocolate Mondrian, less so, but still good. Finished with coffee. We had opted for a less expensive Primitivo (£40). Perfect. Service from Olivia (I think) was outstanding. So in summary: its trendy. The food can be absolutely outstanding or less so, depending on what you order. IF, like us and another table, you don't enjoy one person ruining your meal with cigarette smoke, sadly, you'll have to sit inside. Unacceptable that management everywhere in London just don't get it. In Asia, its totally unacceptable and you don't have this problem. The cost for 2 was just under £180.

Looks lovely from outside, inviting, lovely decor inside. For some reason, despite booking well in advance we were all squashed around a very small cafe like table. I wondered where the food would go but when it arrived there was no issue as the plates were tiny. The food was dreadful. Starters complete rip off, they are meant to be sharing plates, joke, not enough food to share and the blandest arancini ever. Everything was smothered in cheap tomatoes, not even flavoured nicely. The mains served on tiny plates, lukewarm and milanese chicken dry, worst I've ever had. No sides served with mains. Service was weird. No service with a smile. It was our anniversary and they wrote it on a dessert we'd ordered. Very cheeky. There are thousands of better places to eat in London. Do yourself a favour and choose one of them. Also no soap in any of the toilets. Yuk!

I was really looking forward to reviewing this place as it looked very good with a nice menu however I cannot as my wife and I left after 15 minutes as all that happened in that time is we were given menus and told what was not available. Two tables that were seated after us received menus, ordered drinks and then ordered their food. We were ignored completely for some reason and so we left and had lunch at Gordon Ramsey’s Burgers in Harrods which is literally across the street. The manager saw us leaving but made no attempt to find out why which made the whole experience even more disappointing.I will never go there again.

朝食をとるため訪問。メニューは充実。何を選ぶか迷ったが、ここはイギリス。Traditional English Breakfast(9.95ポンド)を注文。ベイクドビーンズ、ベーコン、トマト、ソーセージ、マッシュルーム、トースト、目玉焼き。ベイクドビーンズのソースは薄味。スタッフが少なく、忙しそう。グロスターロード駅からも近く立地良し。
