Pizza Piccolo Restaurant in Kensington and Chelsea

We ate various pasta and pizza. The food was very good and reasonably priced considering it is London. The service is good, and the hours are less English than expected (aka, you can dine late by their standards). I don't give it 5 stars because the wine, a rosé, tasted like absolutely nothing. Better to order water than pay the price of a bottle of wine in London. It has happened to us there more times.

Super nice place to eat. The pizza is delicious and crunchy. The service is amazing - all waiters are super nice and friendly! They also have a huge menu for vegans.

Small pizzeria with a large selection of pizzas in 2 different sizes (large or very large). All four pizzas were very good, with crispy dough and not too much toppings. The wine was also tasty. The service was very attentive and quick and the prices were reasonable. The only point of criticism: unfortunately the knives are not (anymore) sharp enough for the dough; saw knives would probably work better.

Maybe fortune took us here, as the tiny looking restaurant is located in a small street near Earls Court. If you're thinking about eating in this area, just stop by. We had a warm welcome, a variety of antipasti, pizza, pasta, and even dolce is available. We settled for pasta and garlic bread and couldn't have made a better choice. We were served fast, and the food was fresh and delicious.

I’ve lived nearby for years and can’t believe that I’ve only just discovered this place! The service and atmosphere was lovely but the food was amazing and took me straight back to various Italian holidays where it was made from the freshest ingredients. We will be back!

A small but very nice place with everything to eat, very complete menu for the whole family, very good price. The quantities are very good, you will not leave hungry. The waiters are wonderful, they are attentive if you need anything.

I was prepared for a very nice experience by the reviews, but it was still somewhat disappointing. The interior is cozy in a simple way, but the restaurant was quite cold. I ordered a rosé and automatically received the large version. If you want the medium size, you have to say so. I didn't drink it because I thought it was too sour. I ordered a vg pizza, but got the wrong one. The menu was probably not entirely correct and the description of the pizza I wanted was not under the correct name. The staff was very helpful and I quickly got the pizza I wanted. The flavors of the pizzas were excellent; not fantastic. The vegetarian chicken tasted a bit strange and the vegan cheese was excessive and greasy. Also difficult to eat because you don't get a serrated knife. It's really nice that vegans and vegetarians are taken into account, but some ingredients don't work quite as you would like.

Es vergonzoso, todo el buen trato del camarero, se fue al traste, cuando estaba justificado por el cobro extra al pagar. No volvería nunca más a un sitio donde tienes que pagar para que el camarero te atienda, si veo que es merecedor de dejar propina, la dejaré, pero cobrar por servicio, nunca más.

The worst pizza I have seen in my life. The bread like stone, the cheese non-existent, the tomato tasteless, the sausage not good and the ingredients of low quality in general.

Me, my dad and my brother went to this pizzeria for dinner tonight and it was amazing! I got tomatoes which were off of the menu and I got a plate of them that had tomatoes with so much dedication put together an amazing meal

I just returned from attempting to have a solo dinner at Pizza Piccolo. When I arrived at 8:30pm, I was told I could pick a two-top table anywhere in the restaurant. A two-top table in the back was specifically pointed out to me, so I pick that specific two-top table in the back. There were only two other parties of two dining in total in the restaurant. The server was nice. I ordered my pizza and a beverage within 5 minutes. My meal arrived within 15 minutes. I quietly ate my meal, answering how my meal was positively when asked by the server and another gentleman working there. I was being polite and just trying to eat my meal and said it was delicious despite it being just ok. Mid-meal, within 15 minutes of eating, I was asked by the gentleman who was maybe the manager if I could move to another table so they could join my table with the four top next to me. Not even an apology for such a rude ask. This is mid-meal. I’m mid-chewing. I was already trying to eat my dinner as fast as I could to get home after a long day despite the jaw workout of the particularly overworked and aggressive dough of the pizza that was even more difficult to cut with a dull knife and misshapen fork that had been provided by the restaurant. I had barely finished half of my beverage and was just trying to eat the pizza toppings and cheese. This is really bothersome and icky restaurant behaviour. I was annoyed because this request is rude during a meal and the customer service lacking. Let me give Pizza Piccolo an example of excellent customer service for this kind of situation for future use : “I’m so sorry to ask you this, but we have a large party that would like to be seated. We hate to even ask this as it’s so rude, but could we please move you to another table and we will happily comp your beverage and give you a discount on your meal. We are trying to accommodate all of our customers tonight. Of course, if it’s not ok, we understand and our large party will wait as they should for you to finish your meal. We want you to enjoy your meal. We normally don’t do this and are sorry to bother you during your meal.” A good manager would have a better handle on tables and not ask customers to move once they are eating. Move me before my order comes or ask the party of 6 to wait. They have somehow made this my problem. I have to be accommodating when the party of 6 and restaurant staff could be accommodating and wait 5 minutes for me to finish instead of the 5 minutes it would take to push and rush me to another table. It’s beyond inhospitable to have me play musical chairs. I told the gentleman that this was rude and I would rather just leave. I paid my bill despite my phone not wanting me to pay - thank you tired fingers and the white noise feature for continually coming on. No apologies given from the Pizza Piccolo staff, but I was asked if I wanted to take my food with me. No thank you. I would like Pizza Piccolo to reassess how they treat solo diners to accommodate larger parties mid-meal. Why didn’t they ask the party of two in the front of the restaurant taking up a six-top table to move? That seems way more efficient and effective than asking me. They could have just as easily moved or been encouraged to take a two-top like I was. Telling me to have a good evening as I was leaving is not an apology. It’s patronising and weird. It’s ok to actually apologise and not make your customers feel icky. Do better. Such a disappointment.

We were staying at the airbnb that is located above this restauranted so decided to check it out for a late night dinner. It did not disappoint! We started with the bruschetta and had the spaghetti carbonara and fettuccini bolognese. The perfect amount for two! Really enjoyed our meal and sad we didn't get to come back to eat again before leaving!

Wines were very overpriced but the pasta was amazing!

Very nice restaurant, off the main drag. We discovered this by chance, as it's not obviously on the main road. The ordered food was very good and came in large portions. The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. Would definitely go again if I were in the area.

Great margerita pizza and pasta. Fresh, high-quality products and additives. The dishes are served at the same time, so you don't have to wait. Very nice service. The only difficulty is a small toilet on the first floor, accessed by steep stairs.

The lasagna is probably frozen, same taste as at Lidl. A scandal!

We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked by this little gem in a quiet friendly pedestrian street. We shared a pizza (excellent) and side salad (fresh and generously sized). We appreciated the reasonable prices and friendly attentive service. Speaking as Americans, they nailed the apple pie and ice cream. Thank you Pizza Piccolo!

Small, cute Italian pizzeria in South Kensington. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and pizza margherita. Both were delicious. The waiters very attentive. The price was right, considering the area. Recommendable.

We wandered into this restaurant quite by accident, and I'm so glad we did! The service was second to none, exceptionally polite and friendly, and food was brilliant too. It's a small and cozy restaurant with a nice relaxed atmosphere. We had pizzas, which were great, and desserts, too. Tiramisu, in my opinion, is one of the tastiest that any Italian restaurants in the UK offer. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We had a delicious meal at this cute little restaurant. I found the pizza similar to some of the best I have eaten in northern Italy. My green salad was full of fresh leafy lettuce and tomato and was very satisfying. My 11 year old son loved the garlic bread and my 13 year old devoured her lasagna. I would happily eat here again next time we are in London. The service was great and the atmosphere was sweet and cozy.

Cute, quaint atmosphere; very small place; seemed reasonably price. Ordered the lasagne, but was very disappointed. It was very very bland and more cheese than anything else. The service was great but there was a no optional service fee that was not mentioned before hand. Overall a decent place to go but I would try the pizzas instead of the pasta.

Lovely little Italian restaurant down a small alley off the main road in Earls Court.

One of our favourite spots in London. Walking distance from the tube. The restaurant is small and cosy, just perfect. Food is great, used to be French now Italian, same great quality, same owner. Very good service, price is reasonable for London current prices (FEB 2024). We have been there as a couple and with family, has a very relaxed, romantic, homelike feel. Highly recommend.

We found this place close to our hotel and through the comments on Google Maps, and without a doubt it was a success, apart from being very friendly, the food is excellent and the price is very affordable. I love pizzas and I am very demanding and here they are homemade and the dough is really Italian!!! My daughter had pasta carbonara and she loved it too.

Had a weekend in London and this place was 2 mins away from our hotel. What can I say, this place is amazing! Very cozy atmosphere, the lady who was in the front was excellent, very attentive, nothing was any trouble. Now the food. By far the best Italian food I've had. The Bolognese was delicious,just the right amount. The pizza was a good size and so tasty! Thank you for a wonderful meal. Will definitely be back the next time we visit!

The pizza is delicious! The crust is thin and has a wonderful chew to it. The pasta carbonara was okay. I really wanted carbs and fulfilled my craving. I'd likely try another pasta if we were to go back.

Nicola nos abrió la puerta con una sonrisa y una amabilidad muy agradecida luego de haber caminado todo un día por Londres para servirnos unas pasta muy calientes y sabrosas en la mesa. Had a lovely meal here with my daughter last night. It's a small and quaint little place, tucked away from the main road. The 2 guys, front of house, were friendly and proficient. The food was very flavoursome. I had penne arribiate, which was very spicey, my daughter had the home made lasagne and it's the first time she has cleaned her plate!! We also had peri peri chips and mozarella garlic brad which was super fresh and tasty.

It was truly the best place to eat in the neighbourhood, i'm already missing it, the food was delicious !!!!

My husband and I dined here on a week night and really enjoyed our meal. We're ordered the bruschetta, a pizza, and the tiramisu. The service was excellent and our food was a good value for the quality. The menu featured a lot of dishes that I would love to try in the future. A great quiet restaurant and so glad we found it!

Food from here is great, just never hot when arriving which is to be expected from a delivery. I just stick any food on the oven for 5 mins when it arrives.

Great rustic Italian food at a reasonable price near earls court. Really great goats cheese salad and some Stilton stuffed mushrooms to start. We all had pizza for mains which was excellent and a bottle of the house red wine. Highly recommend

Regresamos a las 9 PM a nuestro alojamiento y muy cerca de la estación Earls Court nos encontramos con este lugar. Lugar que por entorno ya llama la atención , adentrado en un callejón bien bonito . Fuimos a cenar con mi novia y el personal que atiende el lugar es lo más gentil que podrías encontrar . Nos hizo esperar 5 minutos mientras preparaban la mesa para luego hacernos ingresar y atendernos literalmente como reyes , cosa que se ve muy poco en estos días . Ordenamos Pizza y Calzone que demoraron muy poco en hacer llegar a nuestra mesa . Durante los últimos años he comido un sin fin de pizzas alrededor de Europa y tengo vasto conocimiento porque me dediqué a preparar antes esta típica comida italiana , por lo que la vara para medir la calidad tanto de la masa como de la salsa era bastante alta . En resolución y para no extenderme , fue lo mejor que he probado en el último tiempo , una masa casera , con fermentación en frío que se podía apreciar por los alveolos , liviana que no cae pesada , y con un tostado que a pesar de no ser cocinada en horno de leña lo hace casi idéntico . La salsa , Espectacular muy buena , condimentada con especias en su toque Justo !!!!! La verdad todo 10 puntos , desde la comida hasta la atención. Incluso el local para ser tan pequeño , resulta acogedor y muy hogareño . Me queda tiempo aún en Londres por lo que la cena seguro será ahí sin ninguna duda . Excelente
