Woman’s attitude on phone was horrendous and then a man came and called a c*** on the phone. Don’t recommend

I brought around 7 pizzas from here always been nice. But, tonight was different. Pizza took 1hr40mins to come. It taste awful and was cold. Dont let your standards drop you will get one more chance from me then I am gone

Helpful and friendly staff and food ready when they said it would be. Pizza was decent, probably not up to restaurant standard but good for a take away.

We are on our holidays at Dovercourt holiday park, we googled pizza places near us and decided on this place. We ordered a large 14in Pepperoni and the Oriental 14in pizza. The pizzas were both loaded with toppings,the cheese is beautiful as is the tomato sauce (you have an option to choose BBQ). We choose deep pan, highly recommended as the bread is the lightest pizza base I've ever had. The pizza doesn't come with dips but we had garlic mayo with us, the crust was soo light and easy to eat. Delivery was speedy, approximately 40mins. The delivery people were very friendly, nice to see such happy faces!! I never/rarely write a TripAdvisor review but this pizza house definitely deserves the recognition!! Amazing, thank you 5stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The order took an hour to arrive, but we'll worth the wait. This was the hottest food we have ever had delivered. Superb pizza, chips, garlic bread and chicken wings.

Excellent service with very friendly staff and amazing pizza. Delivery driver was polite and had a smile on his face. Best takeaway pizza I've had (and I've had a few) will 100% be making family pizza my regular takeaway. 5* review from me and family

Ordered a pizza on the recommendation of friends in the area as I’d not had a pizza from here before. Went for a large thin and crispy base and will definitely be going back again! Freshly prepared ingredients and beautifully cooked, very friendly staff both on the phone and when delivering. I’d strongly recommend.

The guy who apparently runs this place a liar. I ordered a pizza at 18.20 the lady said it would be 45 minutes which was acceptable even on a quite Thursday. After an hour I called back and got him and he told me I had ordered the pizza at 18.50 I said no your wrong and he started shouting it’s on the computer though my phone call records show 18.19, he said it’s on it’s way. Waited another 10 minutes still no pizza called back and he became more aggressive shouting at me it’s on the way. 5 minutes later I said I want to cancel. Never again. It’s back to Dovercourt grill for me always polite clean.

went to order and collect, everything was ok till my order was going through the oven, the phone rang at front counter, as the girl approached the phone put her hands over her face and sneezed into her hands THEN WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS answeared the phone to then go and start making another pizza, had I already paid for my pizza I would have walked out, married to a chef who has just passed her yearly food and hygiene course I wonder how this place got a full 5 for food and hygiene, wont be using this place anymore.

At family pizza you can get a meal deal for £17.99 where you get a box of chips a bottle of fizzy drink a few pieces of fried chicken and a pizza of your choice. We order on the website and choose to collect it although you can have it delivered. You can choose to have a bbq base sauce which my girlfriend prefers, and you can choose 4 toppings we had chicken bacon sweetcorn and onion. The base was thin and crispy and there was a lot of toppings on there. The chicken is fried and crispy and you get about 6 pieces, Chip portion isn't huge but a good size for the price. You can choose from different fizzy drink options

Ordered a pizza meal with pizza garlic bread coleslaw and drink waited way over the time told on phone then opened garlic bread to find charcoaled dry plain baguette slices that you could of drawn with not toasted garlic bread that tastes of garlic butter as you would expect.

Pizzas are always loaded with toppings and well cooked. Delivery is within time slot and quality is always more than expected

Fantastic pizzas base is fresh and full of flavour and customised to suit the consumer. The premises are clean staff are friendly and always ensure the customer is happy. The homemade coleslaw and garlic pizza bread is a must have !! You will not be disappointed

Bought from here twice now, Barely warm and lack of tomato puree whole pizza lacked flavour on both times, Hence said never again, Shop every Friday in Sainsburys at Stanway and noticed they have a whole counter where they make up pizza for customers and you can choose your toppings. They come cooked or uncooked, We have uncooked to take home 10 minutes in the oven beautiful. Really full of flavour. Price for small £2.60 large is approx. £3.00 good value. If a business cannot deliver what they advertise they will lose custom something quite a few outlets in Harwich fail to understand.

last pizza took 20 mins longer than the estimate to arrive , 1 hr 5 mins. time before waited over an hour and a half , time before never got the drink that was included , now coleslaw recipe has changed , also half the amount of coleslaw used to get this stuff costs pennies come on .... 1 time pizza base seemed to lack any puree. stuffed crusted for 2 pizzas costs 14 pounds more ???? seriously ??? used to really enjoy overall package for meal deals , now even the drinks warm

The best place to eat in Harwich end of, banging food clean aswell all cooked fresh great service cheap prices I would recommend Family Pizza to all of my friends and family, reliable delivery drivers aswell

We have been in the area just under a year and enjoy our take out pizza. Having lived in Colchester and tried most take away pizzas i can definitely say this by far the freshest and tastiest pizza me and my family have had! The service is always friendly and we are now loyal customers and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Had a pizza delivered from this company whom I have used for years and always enjoyed. But tonight we where really disappointed it tasted awful and there was a sad absence of tomato puree.

The Family Pizza Company in my opinion is the best in Harwich & Dovercourt. It has some great value deals on their website. I never seem to have to wait long for delivery and the food is always hot and tasty.

I am always sceptical of independent take-away venues because I worry about what you're going to get and how clean it is but having been recommended to this place, we gave it a go and I have to eat my words and say it is outstandingly good and clean. You can see the kitchens from the order point, spotless and tidy. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. We chose a large family pizza, garlic bread, coleslaw, chips and drinks, all were fantastic. As a lover of a famous branded chain pizza store, I have to say this was easily BETTER than the chain I have been loyal to and we will without doubt be back for more. Knowing they deliver for free in the area is a big plus for us too. Staff were very friendly and competent, and we didn't have to wait long for our freshly made order.
