Amor Gastronomia in Islington

Arrived for a pre-booked table for lunch on a match day, I am mindful that it would be busy, but it took 15 minutes of standing there next to staff before one of them even had the courtesy to acknowledge me, which just made the rest of the experience consistent, the food honestly was awful I had one bite of my main course and left it the starter was horrific the main course even worse. I would say it's potentially the worst meal I have had in the UK, when coupled with the service level,l I felt I had to write this review.

Este era un lugar bastante único que tenía algunos asientos escaleras abajo con algunas escaleras bastante empinadas a una mesa individual arriba El menú no parecía tener muchos entrantes, así que tuvimos tomate bruschetta la camarera nos informó que uno debería ser suficiente para 2 así que fuimos con Recomendación, sí creo que estuvo bien pero algunos un poco pequeños , y lamentablemente les faltó sabor, se sintió bastante frío y como si se hubiera hecho previamente y metido en la nevera El principal, yo tenía una pasta boloñesa, un poco en el tamaño pequeño para un plato principal, pero también sentí que se calentó en el microondas, yo tal vez mal, pero estaba un poco pegajoso, lado🤔 y un poco más de carne y salsa en mi opinión ayudaría, pero la llama era un poco falta también El personal era muy amable I

La experiencia con fue extremadamente positiva. Desde el principio, me impresionó gratamente, superaron mis expectativas. Cada aspecto de la experiencia fue cuidado con gran atención al detalle, demostrando profesionalidad y competencia. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que desee una experiencia de alta calidad.

Absolutamente fantástico pequeño italiano muy cerca del estadio Emirates. En un partido post-tarde fría este lugar fue un gran hallazgo. Pasta y pizza italiana. Gran ambiente y servicio atento. Me encantó.

Era mi primera vez a AMOR y me encantó esta pequeña familia - ejecutar joya. Los asientos de arriba / abajo son hilarantes y la comida era genial, lleno de maravillosos sabores italianos. Nuestra camarera Pamela era tan dulce y servicial también. Excelente noche en general, sin duda volveré.

Las mesas elevadas son un nicho y un toque emocionante para el niño interior, la comida es para morirse y los servidores no podrían estar más felices de ayudar, pero al mismo tiempo no te molestan constantemente. Recomendaría encarecidamente el lugar a cualquiera!

Je n'avais pas trop faim en arrivant, c'était une bonne chose car leur pinsa n'est vraiment pas grande alors que le prix était de 14/15£ (ça doit faire les deux tiers d'une pizza habituelle). Les serveurs sont très sympas, mais c'est trop cher pour la qualité qui n'est pas non plus exceptionnelle : la pâte était bonne mais la garniture moyenne.

Una joya oculta para una auténtica cena italiana Este restaurante italiano es un lugar fantástico con toques únicos que lo hacen destacar como una experiencia gastronómica. Probamos una variedad de platos, incluyendo pizzas, pastas y postres, y cada uno era excelente. La calidad de los ingredientes y el cuidado en la preparación realmente brillaron. La comida es mediocre, el servicio es educado y eficiente. Tengo mis dudas sobre la higiene en la cocina, pero no una prueba real de eso. El personal pasaba constantemente para salir a fumar un cigarrillo. No nos causó una buena impresión como clientes. Los cócteles son promedio, ñoquis a la crema y queso simplemente bien, debería haber pedido la pizza. Bueno, no fue tan horrible, pero no lo suficientemente bueno como para regresar por segunda vez.

An excellent restaurant. Quirky seating plan, peaceful ambiance, teenager friendly. We had bruschetta and potatoes to start, gnocchi, lasagne and penne for main meal. Top notch Italian food, and brilliant staff. Highly recommend a trip across London!

We went here on a whim, but it turned out to be the best italian cuisine we had ever tasted! The staff is so welcoming and cheerful! It really made our week! If we return to London, this is the first place we’re going!

Locale piccolo ma accogliente e carinissino....da provare per farsi un'idea. Servizio eccellente, pietanze davvero ottime! Un angolino d'italia, anzi della puglia (Barletta per la precisione) qui a Londra. Se siete qui, un passo è d'obbligo. La pinza è una delle migliori che abbia mai mangiato, i primi cotti a dovere! Interesting place , quirky layout , nicely decorated, however the food was terrible, waiter was not interested in the Job , glasses were filthy had to ask for them to be changed , had a seafood dish , no finger bowl nor wet tissues , one cubical wc in back garden ( full of junk ) lit the candle on the table myself , honestly not worth going

What a lovely surprise this restaurant was. We got a really warm welcome and amazing food. The brushetta starter was a generous portion and really tasty. I had the cozze gamberi zucchini and it was absolutely delicious 😋 No photos I was too busy eating the scrumptious food! I can't recommend this place enough.

We had a marvellous meal. The service was so friendly and the food was fab. Burrata, pizza and Lasagne. Super. Highly recommend.

Popped in here for a cocktail, really enjoyed it spending time here. Cosy wooden tables, friendly staff, and the complimentary small snacks were absolutely delicious - best pesto I’ve ever had. Will be back this weekend!

Pranzo di Natale riuscito!!! Locale piccolo ma accogliente, cucina apprezzabile e proprietario simpaticissimo. Michele ci ha raccontato la sua vita avventurosa e ci ha offerto una coppa di champagne per brindare con loro. Sicuramente un posto in cui tornare nel prossimo viaggio a Londra!!!

We came to this small unique restaurant , we had a such a great time. pasta cooked in the oven, was great the lady serving was very friendly, and the chef owner was there was very very friendly as well we really had a great day and will be back.

We came here post Arsenal game. I had a booking for the upstairs but was told that they don’t check bookings made via Opentable very often (which begs the question why be on there!?) The gave us the right table and we’re accommodating after the initial mistake. The table was cool but very hot, I would definitely recommend sitting downstairs as it was just overwhelming. The service was good, very quick but I think the food was very average. I appreciate the homemade pasta, but the portions were quite small and the pasta was over cooked, I much prefer Al dente then slimy. For dessert we shared a pistachio style pudding which was lovely and a panna cotta which was horrible and tasteless. It was so firm like it had been previously frozen or something that it was inedible for me, the texture was all wrong, All in all, for the money I wouldn’t go again. It needs some work to compete in a busy area with plenty of competition.

Went with a friend for an after-drinks meal. The food was delicious - freshly cooked and piping hot. The owner was a great host. It's a small restaurant and quirkily laid out but makes for a more intimate experience.

Me and my son stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and think we made the right choice. Firstly we were led in by two lovely ladies who seemed very happy and greeted us with massive welcoming smiles, they were ever so polite, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. A rarity in this day and age. The tables we sat at were elevated and it's a bit of a novelty experience. Complimentary nibbles were given which was a nice touch. We shared the Bruschetta starter which was plenty for 2, nice and fresh, which we both enjoyed. My son had the Pinsa, he said it was lovely, I tried a slice and agreed, the base was lovely and crispy, almost fried and the toppings were plenty. I had the stuffed pepper, I was a little worried I may have took a gamble too far, but it was very tasty. It was like a giant meatball, with melted cheese inside, all stuffed into and then baked in a pepper. When it came out it was sizzling and still cooking in the bowl, it was still bubbling as I ate it. The stuffed pepper came with plenty of crostini type slices and there were enough for the whole dish. It was very good and I would recommend this dish. We also had 2 cokes and 2 bottles of Peroni. The bill came to £53. Not bad as we left pretty full. I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in the area.

Fantastic Italian - really friendly staff, delicious food and free antipasti and a shot of limoncello at the end. It's rare to find that authentic ristorante feel you get in Italy but this place is spot on!
