The best restaurants serving Italian food in Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

I visited this restaurant last night and it shocked me. It was very quiet and the food was amazing. We have a take out at 18:30 the food was fresh and tasty. I recommend the veggie pizza which is to notch. Definitely recommend

I'm writing this review for my parents. They've been to this restaurant many times before, as have I and always been happy with the service and food. But on 20th March 2025, they made a reservation to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. The table they were going to be given was right next to the toilet !!! Dad asked to be seated elsewhere as he's been seated there before and didn't like it. There were other tables free, but they were refused, quite abruptly and rudely. So they walked out. They managed to get a table at another restaurant that night and had a fabulous time. None of the family will return here after treating my 82 year old parents so badly on such a special night. It's very disappointing, to say the least.

Called in for lunch today and went for a bargain. 3 tapas for under £11. All 3 dishes were delicious and a good size. They even brought some bread and oil dip. Really good value and flavour. I will be back.

Used this restaurant for a small family gathering for a birthday. The food was beautiful and very fairly priced. The staff there were both very knowledgable about their menu and very polite/helpful throughout our experience. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for either a family gathering or a date night. The atmosphere inside is perfect for either. We all had a lovely time and are very grateful for the service we received. Thank you.

A lovely welcoming and friendly place. The staff are great, fab cocktails and the rooftop bar is little known gem. Nice to have a classy place in doncaster! There is also salsa classes on thursday evenings .... such a great night.

The breakfasts ,brunches, evening meals and bistro nights are fantastic highly recommend the food and the service exceptional 👌

Myself and my boyfriend have been here a few times and have never ever been disappointed! The food is exceptional! We try to have something new each time we go and have always enjoyed what we have eaten. Hasan is one of the wait staff there who always remembers us and makes us feel at home- a very lovely man and a credit to the restaurant! We love this place and will be back soon!

I visited Colloseo for Valentine’s Day, and while the food was absolutely lovely, the service was a big disappointment. The waiting times were painfully long, and the staff seemed to forget about us after giving us the menus. If we needed anything, we had to ask multiple times before getting any attention. For the price, I expected much better service. To top it off, when we went to pay, the lady at the counter was very cold and unwelcoming, which left a bad final impression. It’s a shame because the food was great, but the overall experience was not worth it. If the service improves, this could be a fantastic place to dine.

Comida previa al cine. Llegué a tiempo para nuestra reserva a las 5 pm y el restaurante estaba muy frío, aunque había un fuego de gas en. El servicio era puntual en términos de velocidad, etc . . Sin embargo, la comida era diferente -los hongos de ajo claramente se habían calentado-, algunos estaban calientes y otros casi fríos. La "salsa" era horrible - nadar en grasa y ajo. La lasaña estaba enormemente sobrecocida hasta el punto de quemarse y el calzone de mi compañero era extremadamente "resistente" No hay pimienta recién molida disponible, lo que fue una gran decepción - nos preguntamos este problema y nos dijeron que después del Covid y en el consejo H y S, esto no se podía ofrecer. Eso sonó extraño, ya que no hemos tenido esta experiencia en otros lugares. En general, ambiente acogedor, pero las ofertas de comida no nos están 'sorprendiendo' para volver.

Primera vez después de años y fue genial, comida encantadora y un gran servicio. El personal de servicio era encantador y la comida estaba caliente y sabrosa.

Asistí a una gran cena privada para un cumpleaños especial, fue increíble, la comida era fantástica y muy caliente a la llegada! Las bebidas eran muy razonables y el servicio fantástico - recomendaría una visita si estás en la zona
