I had a fantastic dining experience at La Rustica! Codruta and Moise, who attended to our table, were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was incredible, especially the seafood pasta and pizza, both bursting with authentic Italian flavors. The warm atmosphere and excellent service make this the best Italian spot in Doncaster. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Just had a very nice meal here. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes good too, we didn't have room for desert. We had the seafood risotto and were impressed with both the flavour and the texture. The atmosphere downstairs was good but it did get very noisy as the evening progressed. Would we go back again, yes as the food was so good.

Can't rate highly enough how good our whole night was. Packed out with parties told there could be a wait and kept us informed all the way through. The food was absolutely fantastic. The Balsamic Steak was to die for. Need to go back and try more.

Ordered £44 of food. No pizza, no bruschetta . Chips cold and so was the soup. Had to go through Uber for refund and haven’t received the full amount as they sent it all but we didn’t receive it. So a problem with Uber or La Rustica???? Focaccia bread - half a slice of normal bread. Honestly, absolutely shocking!!!!!! And I’m not one for leaving reviews

Visited with my boyfriend for my birthday and our anniversary and it was brilliant start to finish. We went on a quiet Monday so basically had the restaurant to ourselves and we were served by Alex and lecu. They started by dressing the table with birthday decs and rose petals then lecu showed off his photography skills 🤣 The food was amazing and beautifully presented, then to top it off the whole staff came out to sing happy birthday which made my night. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special

Asked for no jalapeños on the pizza and it was loaded with them. Also hand it chips are just regular fries. Was expecting proper chips. Wouldn’t order again.

Vibrant yet quiet atmosphere as restaurant over 2 floors . I was here on business . Food was divine, I had the mushroom Daviola to start followed by the tagliatelle caserecee which has recommended by the front of house and wasn’t disappointed. Moise , front of house was very welcoming and was an excellent host. Would highly recommend if you are in Doncaster

Unfortunately the food was not good at all. We ordered pizza. We waited more than an hour, and when the pizza came, it was uncooked, raw. And another issue was the kids' meniu ... you can't use such a spicy salami. Otherwise, very nice and hospitable waitresses.

I always order tagliatelle la rustica, its a delicious dish but I do have a complaint in that for £17 I expect more than 2 King prawn and some chicken like it's supposed to have, I never get any. Having said this it's still one of the nicest pasta dishes I've had.

The service was great but that could be because we were the only ones in there and the food tasted like it had all been made with curry powder in it, it wasn't italian food and most thing on the menu were in Spanish

This was our first time at this restaurant and it was definitely worth the visit! Cristi was very attentive and couldn’t do any more for us! He greeted us at the door, showed us to our table and made sure everything was perfect during our meal so thank you!

Fabulous night, staff were so attentive and made our experience a lovely lasting memory . Food wise the produce which they use is second to non, each dish we had was presented and tasted beautifully, we would recommend La rustica, this was our first time in there since it was carlo’s back in the day. For sure we will be returning to La Rustica!!!

Service was shocking, took forever to get served. Furthermore, food came and pieces of shell were smashed in the sauce making my food inedible without nearly shattering my teeth with every bite.

Needed a restaurant after a day at the races, and all the reviews looked promising. They were not wrong, excellent evening. Passed on starters in case there was room left for desert, there wasn't. I had a calzone, served the right way with bolognese sauce on top, brilliant. My wife opted for the pasta and polpette, she found it a little spicy, but i helped her out and she had some of my pizza crust, win win. No room for desert sadly, maybe next time. Service was excellent, great place to eat. Hope the renovations does not spoil the charm!

We came for dinner on a Thursday night. It was very busy with birthday parties but the staff were very attentive and friendly, especially Alex and Codruta. Food was beautiful as always. We will definitely back after the refurbishment!

I am so blessed that La Rustica is so local to us, I can't believe I've lived here a year without ever going before! A beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing, tentative staff. The food was absolutely amazing, we could barely walk after because we stuffed ourselves so much! I opted for fish based dishes and they did not disappoint but I was very envious looking at my partner's steak! Amazing price for how beautiful the food is. The decor is so cozy, I feel like I'm dining on a street in Italy! We had Alex serving us and he was amazing, Alex was so friendly, quick with any requests, adding petals to the table and asking if we'd like a photo. Just a wonderful experience and it felt very special!

Beautiful little restaurant, I had the lamb cutlet, and churros, my wife had the tagliatelle with slow cooked beef, churros and cheesecake. Loved it and will definitely be back. Staff were really helpful, loved it.

Amazing food, even better service. Visited this restaurant for my dad’s birthday, along with 8 of my family. The restaurant was very busy, and it was only a Tuesday evening (which I think is usually a good sign). 2 of the party were small children, one with allergies to oats, milk, soy etc. Our waitress Maria had complete knowledge of the menu and went out of her way to organise vegan ingredients (without oats) were purchased from a store nearby so my nephew could enjoy a meal (and the 2.5 year old ate his entire pizza). This was just one display of how brilliant Maria was. She was quick to organise our tables drinks and deliver them, gave us time to explore the menu and took our orders in perfect time, there wasn’t a single moment we felt rushed or forgotten, exemplary service and intuition from Maria. I can’t remember the last time I received such perfect service from start to finish. She has great humour, is smiley, happy, approachable and knowledgeable, a total asset to the restaurant. The other waitress and mixologist/bar man were also entirely lovely and gave great service (didn’t catch their names). The food was delicious, good portion sizes, lovely and flavoursome and it’s clear a lot of love and time goes into making, designing and presenting the dishes. Really great Italian menu, which has options for everyone, and doesn’t overdo it with a silly amount of linguine and pasta choices (just the right amount of diverse options). Atmosphere is great too, and upstairs and a downstairs, with decor that feels very authentically Italian, and music playing at the right volume (which is where so many go wrong, when it’s so loud you can’t have conversations). It’s a must visit, can’t wait to go back! The best customer service and incredible food! Couldn’t fault a single thing!

Went for lunch for my husband’s birthday. Food was delicious and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Interacted with our children and made them feel special. Also added a candle to our deserts and came to sing happy birthday when they found out. Lovely little touches that go a long way.

Very friendly staff, especially Moise, who served us and took care of us. The carbonara was excellent, and the lasagne was very tasty. If you are travelling by Doncaster it's worth paying this friendly restaurant a visit.

Me and my boyfriend were served by Maria, who was absolutely lovely! When we had questions about the menu she gave us all the information needed and offered to swap dishes if my boyfriend found the food not to his taste. However this wasn’t needed we found the food absolutely amazing, matching the service.

First visit to La Rustica to celebrate grandson Oscar's 14th Birthday. The welcome and service from Maria and the rest of the team was incredible and the food tasted absolutely amazing. A balloon was added to our table and with dessert the staff gathered round...

Jamuna was our waitress for the night, very friendly, welcoming and helpful! The food was great! Would definitely recommend.
