The best restaurants serving Italian food in Taunton Deane South West

Collected a pizza to take home, superb value and quality, the food is always top class. Wellington is so fortunate to have an Italian of this quality

We decided quite late in the morning to go for lunch at the bistro I was a bit worried if there would be availability for us as there was seven of us but we get there at the right time and we all had a fantastic lunch some had full breakfasts some had jacket potatoes all of which was outstanding and the staff once again was amazing x

Fantastic Restaurant! Booked for son’s 18th birthday. Atmosphere was terrific, staff fantastic and take the time to talk to you after the meal. Food is delicious- the chocolate cheesecake is a must! A real hidden gem in Taunton, I need to go more often! Highly recommended 👍🏻

My favourite restaurant in Taunton, the food & service is otherworldly in a beautiful restaurant setting. I’ve been here for family meals, date nights, lunch with the girls and every different dish I’ve tried (which is half of the extensive menu by now) has been phenomenal, highest of quality and delicious. Keep up the amazing work !

Absolutely lovely . Real home cooked Italian food at its very best . We live near Exeter and would travel up to Little Italy for an Italian meal . A little gem . Well worth a visit Excellent.

Delicious Food; brillant customer service; and gorgeous waitress’

Food was mediocre. Portions vary in size. Charged £2 for added chicken to a mushroom pasta dish to find only 3 very small pieces!!! One of the assistant managers took us to our table (3 middle aged ladies) and basically just left us. After waiting for 1/2 hr I had to call someone over. The female server said that she had not been told to serve us!! The male server who brought us our food looked like he was sucking lemons and never cracked a smile during the evening. Our saving grace was the other assistant manager, JAKE, who very kindly brought us some Prosecco to make up for our distress plus it was also my birthday. We know Jake from previous visits and he is a real Star. Such a lovely personable young man who always makes time to talk to us and makes sure we are being properly looked after. He is a real asset to the restaurant in Taunton. Thank you Jake for saving my birthday celebrations 🙏
